Yeah. Apparently pokemon.com, the official English Pokemon website is revealing the English names shortly after the Japanese ones or European ones are announced. I get all my information from serebii.net though.

So what do you guys think of having 4 rivals and battling the professor?

I think it's pretty cool! It will be refreshing to battle different rivals. Seems realistic.

I think battling the professor is a little weird. Obviously it's an idea plucked from waaaay back in the day where in red and blue, it was planned for you to battle Professor Oak, but then got scrapped. But, I guess it's a new method to see how you're doing with your pokemon? XD

As for the 4 rivals, that is muuuuch better. I'm glad to know my character has frickin friends XD

I might get this, because I wanna see cute fairy Pokemon and it just seems better than the others. I play on my brothers games all the time, I think they're converting me into liking Pokemon!

its for the 3ds. I can't wait to train fairy pokemon! Can you  imagine a tiny little Pokemon take down a dragon Pokémon!

I would keep your DS because if you have gen 4 and gen 5 games you can trade with yourself.

 I couldn't stand the rivals from the first Black/White games, hopefully X/Y pulls it off much better.

So since Team Flare specializes in Fire type pokemon, anyone expecting anymore new Fire types? I wouldn't mind a reappearance of the Litwick evolutionary line myself. Also how do you guys think the antagonist team will try to use the legendary pokemon for their own wants this time around?

Fire types still have issues with Diamond\Pearl in that the starter line and Heatran were the only new ones. I personally hope for a non-legendary Fire/Steel type this time around.

im just happy the fire starter wont be part fighting this time around. >.> I was so pissed that they did it 3 times in a row.

Mega Pokémon: Certain Pokémon "evolve" through a process called "Mega Evolution"

The pre-evolution of Gogoat is called Meekuru (メェークル). It is a Grass-type. It is 0.9m and 31.0kg

The Pikachu Expy is an Electric/Fairy-type called Dedenne (デデンネ). It is 0.2m and 2.2kg. It is the Antenna Pokémon and has the abilities Pick Up or the new ability Cheek Pouches

The Rabbit is a Normal-type called Horubii (ホルビー). It is 0.4m and 5.0kg. It is the Digging Pokémon and also has the abilities Pick Up or Cheek Pouches

A Super Training facility will appear in X & Y.

Koruni, a new character, is a Gym Leader who holds the key to understanding Mega Evolutions.

First event for Pokémon X & Y. Torchic to be distributed from October 12th to January 15th. It will hold a new item called Blaziken Knight (possibly Blazikenite) and has its Hidden Ability of Speed Boost. Can eventually become MegaBlaziken. It's also mentioned to utilise something called a Mega Stone

I haven't touched a Pokemon game since Ruby/Sapphire. Saw a trailer for the new games and they looked cool. Like Pokemon the next level. Hope they utilize everything the 3DS has to offer them.

My boyfriend says that people think the Megaevolution occurs while in battle and is only momentary, kind of like SMAS where Sailor Moon can do Crisis Power until the end of battle.

Thats been confirmed! They can go megaform during battle and boots some of their stats. It's soo cool!!  

Also there are new ways of training your team so goodbye level grinding!

Thank goodness that I can say bye-bye to level grinding. The mega-evolutions seem interesting, nice that underrated pokemon such as Mawile and Absol have access to it.

Oh, I didn't know that had been confirmed! Awesome! That will be a really cool new element to battle.
