| Are any of you going to buy it? I know a lot of people have been skeptical since some think that the Sims are a downgrade from the Sims 3 (I don't agree with this at all personally) and others have been unhappy with the lack of information (Which I agree with but I think it's because they have been working hard on the game and an ex-EA worker said the marketing team was horrible). But basically... I AM SO FRIGGIN PUMPED FOR THIS GAME!!! *backflips into the sun* This is an updated version of another render: I really believe that they are letting people have the best of both worlds. If you want cartoony sims then you got it: - Spoiler:
But if you want to model your Sims into real people then you are covered too!: - Spoiler:
These aren't very high-quality because people got them from SimGuru Ryan's, Shannon's, and Martin's twitters. If you're a Sim player what are you looking forward to the most? They've stretched how they are taking the Sims back to it's roots so I'm happy to hear that. |

| I would love to be able to play a Sims game properly on my Windows 8 computer. However, the Sims games have become so complex since the first installation that I find I don't have quite as much fun as I used to while playing them. I liked living within my one little house and not having to travel to the city or whatever. I don't know much of anything about the Sims 4, though. |

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS. I'M SO EXCITED TOO! OMG WHENEVER WE GET THE GAME WE SHOULD UPLOAD PICTURES OF OUR SIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Clears throat* But I'm so excited. I didn't really play the Sims 3 on the PC and my brother bought me the Xbox 360 version but that had a glitch in it where after you played like a certain amount of hours the game would freeze when you tried to save. They made a patch but after a couple of months it happened again. :/ So I've been displeased with the Sims 3. Anyway, I can't wait to build my Sims! For the first time I think I actually have a story for them! @Venus Yeah I understand. A lot of people don't like the open neighborhood and story progression. Apparently the guy in charge of TS3 had worked on Second Life previously and tried to add things that didn't really belong in the Sims. He's not involved with the Sims 4 though. Maybe after the game comes out, you can read some reviews and watch some gameplay and see if it makes you want to play the Sims again. |

| I probably won't buy it at launch, but I'm excited to see what EA has in store for us! I still prefer sims 2 over sims 3, but maybe sims 4 will change my mind? |

| Yeah The Sims 2 is my favorite too but I'm hoping TS4 is everything TS3 should've been and more. It's time for something even better than TS2 imo. |

| Hey everyone! I was going to post this yesterday but then I forgot. Anyway, we got a new render to celebrate Star Wars day! - Spoiler:
There has also been news about TS4 being release this October but I'm skeptical about that. |

| So there's been a lot TS4 news so I thought I would update this. There's been another CAS trailer. Don't be alarmed if you don't see a lot of things in the trailer: one of the SimGurus (developers) has stated that not ever thing was shown here. Also, I believe they mixed new and old footage for this trailer because some of the hair styles seemed really blocky even though in the recent avatar pictures they are better. Here's a render of the fabulous Goths: - Spoiler:
Here is the leaked Bella pic before the CAS trailer. This her in-game look (she's beautiful imo): - Spoiler:
The SimGuru's have been updating their twitter avatars with Sim 4 versions of themselves. These are not renders. They were all created in CAS (create-a-sim). This is the executive director, SimGuruRachel and build designer SimGuruHouts: - Spoiler:
SimGuruJohn and SimGuruAzure (Azure is a personal fav.) - Spoiler:
SimGuruMarion uploaded two: - Spoiler:
SimGuruGraham, Lyndsay, and Riley. (Aren't Lyndsay and Riley cuties?) - Spoiler:
SimGuruRusskii and SimGuruMeatball. (Russkii's is probably my favorite so far. - Spoiler:
EA's press conference at E3 is on June 9th so that's when "big" Sims 4 news will be revealed. Until then we'll probably get tidbits of information and there could be a chance of a build mode video before E3. |

| I LOVE the Sims!!!!! I didn't even know they were making a 4th one! I mean, I figured they were probably working on one and such, but didn't know it was being released some day soon! I'll most likely end up buying it, but once it's been out for a little while and is only like 10-20 dollars xD I'm cheap...=P I own Sims 3 and I was highly disappointed. One of the main reasons I liked Sims so much was because it was both single player and multi player. So I could have my own game, with a cool follow the story-mode kind of thing if I wanted, and then you could also play with a friend. My parents spent a lot of time playing Sims 2 together and so did my sister and I. But Sims 3 didn't come with anything like that. Although I do like the more advanced character customization and the different opportunities and such.
I am really excited for this fourth installment!! I just really really hope it'll go back to being multi-player instead of strictly single player!! |

Hmm...Are you talking about the console versions of the Sims? The PC versions have always been single player. It's been a long time since I've played TS2 on the ps2 so I can't remember anything about multiplayer. I do know TS3 had a lot of flaws. My brother got it for me on the Xbox 360 and there was a save glitch. They made a patch but it eventually came back so I can't save my game.:bunnysad:I'm hoping that the PC and console versions of TS4 are way better than the TS3.

Oh yeah the playstation versions probably will come after the PC. There hasn't been a release date for the PC version except a vague "it's coming in the fall" so who knows when the console versions will come out. I do hope they bring the direct control feature that was in TS2 console feature back. Do you remember that? We could actually control our Sim instead of using the cursor thing to point and click everthing. I understand why it wouldn't work for the PC versions but I would love it if the put it on the TS4 for the ps4/xbox one. |

| I have high hopes for this game!! I was disappointed with the sims 3 feeling like an unnecessary upgrade to the sims 2, so here's hoping this one turns out better! The new creation mode looks great and I can't wait to play with the personalities and whatnot. SO EXCITED! |

| If the price goes low enough, and I can play it on my machine without aching lag, I'll probably buy it eventually. :3 I really enjoy The Sims franchise, but generally I have experienced performance issues when actually trying to play the games...and it can get unreasonably expensive with the expansion packs and add-ons. I prefer to buy The Sims games when they go on sale or clearance at major retailers. |

| I was extremely excited for this game but the horrible marketing and the revelation that pools and toddlers aren't in the base game (which will most likely be added through a patch or an expansion but still...) has deflated my enthusiasm. However, I just found out that we're getting a free CAS demo so I'll play it in see how I feel about it. |
