I guess it has been confirmed that there is no La Soldier in the new myu?

 

I still am excited about La Reconquista, they have so many cool things I can't wait to see, but wow, how could they *not* have that??

i got a for sure about the musical, someone on SMF, went to the musical.  it's not a spoiler.. but.. once again, they paired up the generals and the sailor girls... Ugh.... >_> they so better not do it in the new anime.

 Such sad news today about La Reconquista, awwwie. I really dislike the default Senshi/Shitennou pairings, all based off one "what if" picture  Although I admit that I do adore the Nephrite/Ami undertones in PGSM But this is completely different awwww

La Reconquista has such a mix of things I really really dislike and things I really really want to see, I feel all sad and happy at the same time xD

Even though its based off of one "what if" photo, its obvoiusly an idea Naoko had wanted to toy with but didn't get to in the manga, but then expressed wanting to explore it in the musicals. In the past, it was always a thing to play on the Senshi x Shitennou relationship thing, but in the end the Shitennou betray them because of Beryl. For example in the first Musical, Dark Kingdom Gaiden.

Ugh, I don't like those pairings either. >.> I hope it's not a big part of the musical.

Really sucks La Soldier is not included! ;.;

so I'm beginning to think I'm one of the few that will have no problems with the SenshiXShittenou pairing sorry guys I absolutely love them. so it won't bother me much if it is a big part of the musical.

well Ami/neffy in PGSM is different, i only dislike the ami/zoi and Mina/kunzie

it's only half i can't stand.  if we ignore the part that zoisite is gay in the anime, his personality isn't a good match for ami and same can go to say that ami is too sweet to be with zoisite.. he's kinda of a brat sometimes XD .. he be better paired with mako-chan... or michiru if she wasn't a lesbian and with haruka XD

also it comes down to me being a big fan of Zoisite/Kunzite too..  i don't have jeffy/rei or mako/neffy

like I said one of the few that likes them all I've always thought Ami/Zoi was kinda sweet. *shrugs* and I love Kunz/Mina

and I'm also a Kunz/Zoi fan but I only like it in the anime.

Ditto, I don't mind the pairings. I think it can be done well. The previous Myus I always thought it was interesting that they used it as a strategy to basically weaken the girls.

About Shitennou x Inners, I agree with Brit, Jupi and Ari as I do not mind the pairings. To be honest, I would have been more surprised to hear they did not use the Sitennou x Inners pairings since they have been heavily used in the previous musicals and Naoko herself has nothing against it. Besides, my personal opinion is that Shitennou using the strategy to weaken the girls by approaching them has worked very well and I see no reason why that idea could not be used in La Reconquista, as well.

By the way, I found a review of the musical (in English) that includes heavy spoilers as it is also a summary of the Myu but for anyone curious to read more about La Reconquista before the official recording will be released, you can read the review by clicking the link below.

at first had no great expectations. but from what I'm seeing I realize this is going to do great.

After reading the review, I feel like all of my fears have just been nitpicky things. I really think it sounds like a solid storyline, and I can't wait to see it and to hear all of the new music they've made =]

Yeah apparently from japanese Myu fan tweets, its good. Maybe like 8/10? Like nobody's going "OMG BEST THING EVER" over it, but they aren't saying it sucks either.

I seriously can't wait to freaking see this thing (and if they go further and bring the outers in Akiko and Takayo need to come back) *crosses arms and pouts*

oh my gosh tumblr bloggers are posting great images i literally was making my roomies mad becasue i wouldnt turn off computer and watch pitch perfect. I was like you dont understand its sera myu. these pics make me want to scream yay and want to get a sub already for the myu i think its gonna be soo good.

Does anyone feel that this song has some slight similarities with What For?! Shinjitsu no Kajitsu when it comes to the theme? I think it is the confrontation of Sailor Senshi and the Dark Kingdom and how the song has this a bit dramatic feeling in it.

now that you mention it yea it does. I sooooooooo can't wait to see this.
