I can fangirl over a girl playing a GIRL, but not one playing a man. I just can't. Then what's the point of having males in her story? ._.
I love the girls and how they look though but Tuxie, nah...not so much. Either way, I don't care much about Mamoru in the Musicals, except maybe for Yuuta Mochizuki and Yuu Shirota. <3

I sooo can't wait! I wish I could go to Japan, sad part is I might actually have the money to go see it but I can't go. My husband is on deployment and he said I can't go to Japan with out him. He will be gone for a while.

Girls as guys are HOT. They study for years to learn exactly how to walk, talk, dance and act like a man. They're more manly then most men and with the stage makeup they apply to heighten masculine face characteristics, I promise you, you're good.

i watched the song you posted kyra, and i'm sorry, but i can still hear the feminine notes very clearly, even though their voices are deeper than i thought they would be.

i can understand Sailor Moon is about the womens power without men, and i respect it's Naoko's choice. i'm glad this is her dream that she's able to achieve. but i still would like to see at least one or two men in the muyu.

cause damnit, guy's are still hot and required for some things at least!! but i'm glad i'm not alone in my inability to fangirl over girls as guys.*hugs ai no senshi*

Nothing is wrong with liking guy actors, however nothing is wrong with liking girls who play guys. 
I didn't think you have seen shows, because it really does grow on you. I use to be the same way, then I started watching more. Then I got hooked, most of the time you forget that they are even female at all. You refer to them as he and then you have to recorrect yourself. lol 
But its all in good fun.

@Ai no Senshi: there isn't very many guys in Sailor Moon to begin with. Sailor Moon is predominantly female. Naoko is clearly a fan of women taking charge and filling all the "roles" that man usually fills. Musicals aren't excluded. Plus, Naoko is a fan of that all-female theater group in Japan, so it's fitting.

I think pretty much the same >.<
I honestly haven't watched any Takarazuka Revue play, just some random videos here and there but my brain just doesn't accept the idea. Really, it's not that the girls are bad at acting or anything.
And anyways, I'm still super excited about the rest of the cast =D

Personally, I don't mind it being all female. From what I heard it will be an all female cast and that's what Naoko wants. I know that there are men in Sailor Moon and that some people would like the men characters to be played by men, but why can't we give these women a chance?
let's not forget Naoko is a feminist like hard core

also, if we go to the beginning of the theater history, all roles were played by men, including the female ones. so why can't we have all roles played by women, including the male ones?

personally i find it kind of strange, but if the girls are good actresses, then this feeling will go away as soon as i start watching =)

i took 5 years of drama classes, mars, it helped me a lot, like, opened a new world, you know? so i always try to keep an open mind to everything that's new. i mean, it's not because it's different that it it a bad thing. different is good, too.

It's going to be weird at first, of course, but if their acting is good then I won't complain. I just won't be fangirling over Tuxedo, but that does't mean I'm not going to like her ^^

I will just say... Hikari. Hikari Ono. And all other Myu actresses who played male roles in the musicals ^^.

Hikari is amazing. I can fangirl over her anytime =D
