I saw a rumour like this a few weeks back that turned out to be a false alarm, however I really really think there will be a new eeveelution, theres a special coming up featuring the new eeveelutions and besides Japan really really really loves its Eevees.

I hope to God for a few more Eeveelutions. I'd love to see a ghost type! I'm sure it would have to be leveled up in some creepy mansion or something. Hopefully nothing like the Strange House from Black and White 2. D:

That's cute! Maybe a normal type? I hope thats real and hopefully not the only one, it says Ninfia, might come from Ninfu (Nymph) but that doesnt five anything away. Perhaps its flying if those are wings and not bows or if its butterflies even bug? I would guess Normal though.

It's called Ninfia in the Japanese version, but we need to see how the prefix starts it out in the English name.

Jolteon: Jolt of lighting
Flareon: Flare/Fire
Vaporeon: Water vapor
Espeon: ESP is Psychic Ability
Umbreon: Shorted from the latin word Umbra, which means Darkness
Leafon: ...Leaf
Glaceon: Glacier is made of ice.

Like I said Ninfia is awfully similar to Ninfu (Nymph) considering it has the -ia ending of Glaceon (Glacia) and Leafeon (Leafia) it may be another Location-Evolution, Nymphs are also creatures that are associated with specific locations. It didn't really take that much time to think. The vagueness of Nymph makes me think normal type. of course i could be wrong but ninfia made me instantly think of ninfu and they're even closer in the japanese to what it looks like in english. ニンフィア Ninfia ニンフ Ninfu

Left page is mainly about the Special to go with the next Pokemon movie which is going to be about Eeveelutions (Pikachu and Eevee Friends) the right page is more of the "announcement" of the new pokemon itself

Notice the pic on the right, looking at it now I think its bug or flying personally. Look at the teeth that the others don't have, it might even by Poison. Also looking at the weight and height, its awfully light for something so tall, its tying as the tallest with some of the others but its the lightest of them all except Eevee.

For those interested this is my reasoning

Eevee ---> Iibui --> Evee (From Evolution)
Vaporeon ---> Shawaazu ---> Showers (Rain showers)
Jolteon ---> Sandaazu ---> Thunders (Verb form of thunder)
Flareon ---> Buusutaa ---> Booster (Rocket boosters? As in the heat?)
Espeon ---> Eefi --> Efee (Possibly from Esper what Japanese call Psychics and Feel)
Umbreon ---> Burakki ---> Blacky (Possibly from black as in black cats and lucky cats)
Leafeon ---> Riifia ---> Leafia (From Leaf)
Glaceon ---> Gureishia ---> Glacia (From Glacier)
??? ---> Ninfia ---> Ninfia (possibly from nymph or ninja or nimbus?)

Notice the three kinds so far following a different naming pattern, the stone ones are from English words, the friendship ones are a cross of two English words and the Location two are from an english word + ia, if Ninfia follows that pattern it might be another location or it might be a coincidence.

Yeah I saw that. I don't really know if I like that name >.> I wonder what it's derived from in English.

I still want it. It's still adorable. I hope it's a type I can use. I watched the little video of it attacking on serebii, but it didn't show any type specific moves, I don't think. It didn't even show the names of the attacks.
