Nope. Most Anime released outside of Japan will have a dub and sub option. XD They focus on the dub so much seeing how its their product.

I'm really happy with Viz's dub. Everyone sounds great. I tried watching clips of the DiC dub, and it sounded just horrid. Viz's voices are much more fitting. I really hope they cast someone good as Chibiusa when R comes out.

I've been scared away from Sailor Moon dubs, seeing as the DiC and Cloverway dubs were so terrible, but I just recently finished watching the first season (a bootlegged copy I found at a half-priced book store >_>) in Japanese, so I think I'm going to give the new dub a try when I finally watch the new Viz Blu rays. They're sitting all pretty on my shelf, I just haven't had time to crack them open yet.

The Viz dub is SOOOO MUCH BETTER than the awful DiC dub, I promise you! Naru doesn't sound like a drowning British valley girl in this version!

She had a Brooklyn accent in the Dic dub. XD

It sounded more like a Boston one to me. XD

Viz has released some more spoilerific dub clips of the season one finale of Sailor Moon.  To be honest, I sort of prefer Kunzite's old DiC VA better than his new one.  The new Viz VA is fine but I feel like the old DiC VA did a better job of pulling off the sexy bad guy voice I loved about it.  But Wendee Lee is amazing as Queen Serenity and she put so much powerful emotion into this scene: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-02-07/sailor-moon-english-dub-clip-previews-season-1-final-episodes/.84182

I liked Queen Serenity's old dub VA but i guess Wendee Lee is ok

Wendee Lee is most famous for playing Faye in the Cowboy Bebop dub and she also played Umi in the Magic Knight Rayearth TV series dub.

^Really? I haven't watched any of the new dub episodes yet. It'll be interesting to hear that.

After having only the Japanese and DiC versions for years, it feels weird seeing this uncut and in English at the same time.  I just ordered the season 1 Part 2 DVD boxset last night for my birthday which is next week so I can't wait to see more of the new dub.

Aww it won't work

Just got my DVD for the second half of season 1 today. ^^ I'll probably get through it all tonight, but for the record, I still love Mako's voice in this new dub.  

I hope we'll get a news announcement from Viz regarding the release of the home video and dub of Sailor Moon R soon.  I wonder if with how the release is going we'll get one season out on video a year?  I also hope we'll get some info about the release of the R movie soon.

I heard the Veronica Taylor (Ash's original VA in the English Pokemon Dub) is going to be Sailor Pluto's VA in R!

Veronica Taylor does not seem like a good fit for Puu in my honest opinion...

She's done a lot of varied roles besides Ash though. She played Nico Robin from One Piece, for example. ^^

I have no doubt in my mind that she can pull it off, I just always imagined Puu to have a deeper voice. Probably just my own little head canon there XD

Okay, I'm just now watching the new Viz dub on Hulu after watching all of Crystal and then watching the entire 90's Anime (in Japanese) again. Grew up watching both the original dub and in Japanese.

So, like when the Cloverway dub of S first came out, some of the new voices are JARRING to hear at first (Linda Ballantyne....). I'm currently almost all the way through the Nephrite arc of Classic, from what has been released on Hulu. I also bought the Viz dub of episode 45 on iTunes.

Stephanie as Usagi is good, though I've heard some of her other work, and I am hoping she matures Usagi a bit as she progresses through the series. It's the TINIEST bit too youthful. It's like its all high, and no lower vocal contrast. Her performance in ep 45 was better than I was expecting, so I am hopeful for what is to come. Getting used to the younger Luna. Artemis is meeeeh. His voice is fine, but his acting is a bit overwrought for me.

Kate Higgins as Ami/Mercury is I really like, especially after going back and comparing to the other dub actresses. Her voice is more neutral, which I think suits to character much more. I REALLY love the original dub actress for Rei/Mars (Katie Griffin), BUT I also am a fan of Christina Vee. She does a great job interpreting the character. The original Jupiter/Mako (Susan Roman) had a VERY specific voice, and I thought it would be hard to shake that memory, but Amanda Miller is honestly pretty much perfect. They probably couldn't have found a better Mako. Charm Leigh as Mina/Venus, for me, is kind of meh. Doesn't stand out at all. Hopefully she brings Minako more alive in the future. 

I pretty much love all of the Dark Kingdom's new voice actors. I know people seem to not like Nephrite, but I think he's SPOT ON. Zoisite is also PERFECT.

Looking forward to the Outer Senshi, Chibiusa and Death Buster's new voices.

Am I the only one who isn't 100% on Stephanie Sheh? She's GOOD, but it's not perfect yet for me.

I feel like Stephanie Sheh gets a lot of criticism for her voice of Usagi, and I often have to remind myself Usagi is 14... she's not meant to sound mature, heck I know plenty of girls in their early 20s that have high pitched voices that would never be deemed 'mature'. 
Usagi's voice is never going to be perfect for everyone but I don't understand why a 14 year old would have a mature or more adult sounding voice :/ - especially a stereotypically ditzy / fun / pure=hearted girl.

I thought I read somewhere that naoko approved the Viz dub cast?

Ok here are my thoughts on the voices so far:

I'm not a big fan of Stephanie's  voice for Usa. I thought she'd sound a bit more mature. Idk maybe i'm a little too nostalgic about the DiC dub. Also i still find it hard to believe that  the person who voiced Duchess Swan is voicing Sailor freaking Moon.

Kate Higgins as Ami is PERFECT! I just love her voice. 100% better than the old dub!

Cristina Vee is great as Mars and managed to beat Katie Griffin (one of the only good VA's in the old dub).

Amanda Miller as Mako fits very well, as for Minako....Cherami's voice is nice but isn't anything special. Hope that changes in the future.

Chibiusa....her voice is so annoying! I absolutely hate her new dub voice. I'm actually close to saying her DiC voice is better! Why can;t they bring Stephanie Beard back? Her Rini voice was perfect!

The villains:

Dork Kingdom - All of their voices fit well, especially Nephrite and Zoisites

BMC - Haven't seen many of the R dub episodes but the voices were well chosen. The only nitpick i have is with Berthier's voice. She sounds WAY to much like Gory Fangtell.

As a heads up, all of season one dubbed should be on Hulu and Neon Alley by now. The first two episodes of Crystal dubbed will be up on the 20th.

I wasn't feeling it.  Maybe it's because the voice actress's so totally different than old dub.  And I liked that.
