Hello there every scout! I'm a fellow fan of the series and began watching the series back in 97 when my mother and I moved in with my grandmother and I was attending 8th grade. (I'm getting old I know) During that time I was only able to watch season 01 and most of season 02 (missed the last 2 episodes). I'm hoping that this site will provide me a lot of promise as I look forward to making a lot of friends who share the same enthusiasm for the series like I do!

A little about me is that I'm a Virgo, born in September. So obviously one of the main reasons for getting back into Sailor Moon; and more importantly this amazing site; is the astrological connection with the series. Whereas each sign is ruled by a planet, mine being that of (Mercury).

I'm also a huge fan of other planets in the Solar System (as with planets far away) & the stars out there that have been discovered. One of the things I hope to see before my time on Earth comes to a closure is a Purple or Green star (most are red, blue, or white; so something unusual would put me to rest).

Thank you for the warm greetings! I already like the cheerfulness of this site that is new to me, and it almost seems like home. Been to many sites before, so the feel is the same, but the warmth of friendship is more abundant here.

I do try to be as patient as possible, though at times I do get a little agitated. A pretty stubborn person I can be too, especially when it comes to beliefs and ideals I hold near and dear. Hoping we can be friends!

And you must watch the Japanese version! It is beyond awesome and has so much more to give (just my opinion though) ! S aka Super and Stars are my favorite seasons, they're the darkest ones. And it's okay ! In the Japanese version Uranus' civilian name is Haruka Tennou (which means distant sky king) and Neptune's is Michiru Kaiou (becoming/rising sea king)

(Thought most peoples blame the new translation for having some weird phrasing :O )

Remembering the names in the Japanese series would be quite confusing to say the least. I've watched a few series in Japanese (Naruto and Bleach mostly), but the rest of the anime I watch I prefer it in English Dub. I might give the Sailor Moon series a chance in Japanese, but it gets annoying having to see the Subtitles lol

Thank you for the clarification on that! I was beginning to wonder if indeed it was a "new" Sailor Moon manga or if it was a touch up job. Also, I do thank you for the warm welcoming; it makes a guy feel like of special. Hoping we can become GREAT friends!

Subtitles are only a bother until one gets used to them. I started to watch regular TV with captions on once I got so used to having subtitles on the screen, because I missed them when they weren't there! It annoyed everyone else in the household except me, though. *evil laugh*

I found your intro thread~ I'm Sailor Kakyuu (you can call me Kakyuu or Averi) ^^ I don't think you are getting too old, I turn 25 in October; I'm a Libra, ruled by Venus Actually, she's one of my favourite characters (but not for that reason; because she's an awesome bamf). I have 10 dogs; 1 mutt, 1 Dachshund and 8 Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua). I like Harry Potter, learn quickly and have always wanted to learn the violin as well So we have some things in common.

If you like astrology and the myth behind the series a lot, you will LOVE the manga and the Stars season. Stars totally blows the doors wide open for roleplay - I know without the concepts introduced in it, I would never want to roleplay SM. I really really like to roleplay and write.. and make graphics.. and draw.. but I'm not really the typical 'creative type' I guess. =| I might just not see something that's totally obvious to other people lol.
