Hi, I've been a sailor moon fan for 13 years or so but I haven't been a member of many forums just because I feel like I rarely have anything to contribute with xP But when I found this place I just had to register! With the passion you discuss the diffrent subjects here made me so excited I couldn't resist!

Alittle about me; Swedish 21 year old man (or boy really). I spend most of my freetime at the computer so I'll probably be a quick replyer x) I'm currently studying socialpsychology at the university which I really love.
Favorite shows; SAILOR MOON, Buffy, Community, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Weeds, Lword, Pretty Little Liars, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and so on~

I don't have a website or anything like that but if you want you can check out my youtube account.
Nowadays I do mostly shipping and fanvids (shamefully only one sailor moon yet x__x) but I also have some old Hello!Project stuff .

So anyway, hopefully you have room for one more moonie here~

By the way, don't worry about the lack of a creative name. I couldn't come up with anything better myself. xD Though the rules do mention that you are allowed to change your username ONCE only, though you must contact Sailor Jupiter. So be advised to choose wisely, as I must do when I can figure out a better username.

I actually have a tiny question I was hoping that someone wise and knowledged coud help me with. I read on MissDreams website a while ago that the offical sailormoon page are going to accept fan art & encouragement mail to Naoko (source). I really want to send in a photo i've taken of the 300+ "paperfigures" of Sailor Moon i did growing up (since I'm a boy my mom wouldn't let me have sailor moon toys but since I really wanted them I decided to made them myself, ha). But I just want to send her a note along with the pic telling her why i did them, but english fanmail will apparently be ignored, so I was wondering if anyone on this side knows someone who can help? I can understand and talk some japanese but I cannot write any what so ever.
Anyone know where you can find someone who could help out?

If you are looking for people to speak with about the Japanese language, you could always look on interpals.net it's a site devoted to many things, especially Language Exchange and stuff like that. Someone there might be willing to help you out, but you'd have to do a lot of asking, because though some people are willing to help out, a good majority of them are rather skeptical (depends on the first message sent).

Hello!! I hope you like it here!! (Seems like a lot of Sweds have joined recently, who knew?) That sounds great sending some encouragement Naoko's way! I've been meaning to do it myself, but I want to do a really super special picture for her and I want it to be just right!!
As for the Japanese writing, I would recomend going to your local bookstore and find a beginners book for Japanese that goes over stuff like my name is, I'm from here, I love Sailor Moon, ect. Then try to find some software that allows you to type in Japanese. (This is just a theory of mine, I haven't actually tried it yet!!) Even if it isn't perfect Naoko will appreciate the gesture that you are trying to talk to here in her language (when I went to Japan just saying Hello or Goodbye in Japanese made them very happy that I was trying). She has stated before that she loves the pictures that her fans send her!! I wish you well in your efforts!

Hello and welcome! Encouraging Naoko sounds like a good idea. Even if it's just art without a letter it could be a nice gesture. Now you're making me tempted to draw for her as well, although I don't have a scanner right now and it would just be a picture taken on my phone ^^;;; . . .
