Hello all! So Im doing my first cosplay this upcoming weekend at AnimeIowa (also my first convention) and Ill be cosplaying as Dean Winchester from the Supernatural TV series! ^^

I also have my blue tshirt, a plaid over shirt, a pair of faded jeans, and my black work shoes that are worn and a bit tattered to complete my Dean look ^^ Since ill be a Fem!Version of Dean Ill prob just wear my hair up in a ponytail xD But anyway yeah Im super excited to be doing this and I can't wait to see the other Cosplayers at the convention

Guys Im seriously gonna cry.

My amulet wont make it to my house till the middle of August because I guess its all the sudden coming from China. 

No where on the original ordering page did it say it was coming from China. I only found out because I expected it today and when it wasn't there I checked my shipping confirmation email over again and it said it was being sent via China Post in the very fine print. So i looked closer on Amazon and they gave me a different delivery date then what it said when I fist ordered it..

So my cosplay is ruined. Now im just gonna look like an idiot in mens clothes..

hey don't do that!  It's not your fault they do that all time. Heck it happened to me too, so really don't feel bad. Do your display and if anyone asks tell them Cas has it.  And if they say anything more to you get their name and end will beat them up.   You're going to look great!!!!!!!

Update: My friend ordered one off of Etsy and she swears up and down that it should get here by wednesday or thursday at the latest. If that's the case I owe her one BIG TIME.

And thanks Ed. I prob shouldn't have been as angry as I was but I was just so sad  But if I do end up getting my necklace from heidi on time then Im giving the one I get to her.

Also if you don't get it on time, make shift one.
You can make one out of clay also. That is great that your friend is helping you out!
Its always good to have people around that help support you.

I never updated this because my cosplay ended up being "meh" XD 

But this time I'm doing it right! Everyone at work is dressing up for halloween and we all decided to go as the avengers!! SO naturally I picked..

LOKI!!! 

Since I couldn't afford his armour or even his helmet (nor do I have the skills to make either one *sob*) I have decided to cosplay as Jotun!Prisoner!Loki from Thor 2  I'll basically be wearing the long sleeve green shirt, vest, boots, and brown pants that he was wearing in Thor 2, but I'm putting a spin on it and also cosplaying his Jotun form  I have everything bought except for the vest and the chest binder and I'm not even sure I'll do a chest binder xD But I do wanna cosplay Natsu in the future so I know I'll use it... *shrugs* 

Anywho I'm super excited I got most of the outfit and half of my body paint already here at home I'm just waiting on the wig, the adhesive part of the body paint, and a stupid little Loki themed pin i bought for 3 bucks cuz im weird xD 

And not only am I doing his skin and markings, but I also bought some plastic demon horns from Party City that I'm going to paint blue and use as his horns!!! Guys I'm so freakin excited for this  

The only part of the cosplay I can't get is the red contacts :/ I've done a lot of research on them and apparently color contacts that don't require a prescription are illegal in the US because of the damage they can do to your eyes :/ And I'm not risking my eyesight for a cosplay so that's down the drain xD 

But it's still gonna look awesome!! I'm so gonna nail the costume contest

yeah the contacts really aren't worth it, I've done something with cats eyes before and they were a pain and i could hardly see out of them. I can't wait to see the finished result!! you are gonna be awesome!!
