And with my Selina cosplaying as Artie.

I have to say this now, I have problems with my upper arms. I have a genetic thing. All the women in my family when we loose weight we get this extra skin that doesn't shrink up afterwards, so that's why the sleeves. Also I made the yellow dress in like a week and the underdress is actually a dress I was suppose to wear in my brother's wedding but they changed on me last minute.the bows where made from stuff my mom had laying around, (Way to recycle!!) This was halloween last year. I have a pirate cosplay too but I cant' find all the parts after the move, i'm still looking for that. so yeah there are the pics as promised.

Alright now.
I have the accessories coming, so all the jewelry and the forehead thing too and I'm working on a better under dress. over all it was fun.

I dont know if i want to get a wig or not. that's where I'm kind of stuck. With the length of my hair naturally it would be sort of a pain to wear a wig. i haven't decided yet plus the cost.. ouch

I would suggest a wig, I can try to find a cheap wig for you. Like I said try but Luna's Wig isn't too hard to make. I could give you ideas if you need?

I would love to try and make one but i dont have the time to make the underdress. Finals department is nearly on top of me and I just dont have time anymore. Finding a cheap one would be great! I was thinking that for the ease on me and what not I could get some temp extensions that i could take in and out, with and make odangos and just clip them in. or using my own hair to make the odangos and then just extensions for the length. I'm not scared to temp color my hair, since i'm getting ready to put highlights in to have the fun funky colors.

i could use and welcome any help guys, it took a lot of guts from me to even post this.

I agree with LadyShizuka, I *ALWAYS* suggest a wig for cosplay. It's a one time investment that will always look better and in the long run is much easier than dying and styling one's own hair each time you wear the costume. 

Do you plan on wearing a yellow ribbon as a collar? That'd be super cute!

@ Panda funny thing the yellow thing around my neck there is actually the belt from that dress pattern, so it worked out well. My mom and I made the yellow dress.


By the way the accessories are coming from a great seller on easy.com. not only is the seller amazingly good at making stuff, they also took the time to get nickel fee studs for my ear rings and asked about the lenght of the necklace for this cosplay. I highly suggest getting your accessories from them if you can, and the best part is that the complete luna set was only 40$!!

oh and yes i will be getting a wig. it's just i have really long hair anyway at some point i hope to be able to pull off the longer styles with out a wig, just cause.

edit i broke down and bought a usagi wig too. that's all i'm getting cause anymore than that and my family will start to think about killing me. so expect those pics in the future.

OK so I could use some input on what if any earrings to wear with my Luna cosplay.  I have zero gauge holes in my lower lobes and 3 12 gauge holes in my upper left ear. any ideas on what to do??

Did you get the Usagi wig from the same place as the Luna wig?
If so, I have that one too. lol
I like it, but the color is just slightly off for me. I'm really picky about the color, I want it natural and yellow. But not that bright yellow, everyone seems to like.

I don't know what to do with the gauges though.

Yeah I got both Luna and Usagi wigs from the same people. I made sure to read the return policy in cause i dont like something, cause honestly with the cost I'm not going to keep something i don't like. I was thinking that maybe using the spacers I have and wearing the regular earrings in those by poking holes in them. or maybe finding a fun themed earring for them. I haven't really decided.

Update!! My wigs and accessories are in! but before pics I have to heal from my sunburn. cause I tied to get pics when i got them but the wigs hurt my burn, sorry guys!!

Ok so a couple things before the pics, (yes I was finally able to take the photos) I am still rather red in them and I am covering the i dunno what to call them other than the sores left by sun burn blisters on my chin. (im nearly healed though) And i have lost a lot of weight well more like 4 t 5 sizes since I last wore my Luna cosplay and I need to take it in. I tried to get good pics of the earrings and forehead thing along with the gauges! I just had my sleeping spacers in so nothing special (they glow in the dark!) I wanted to get these up before I got on my official Loa thursday. anyway with out further ado ed's stuff.

I hope to be able to talk my sister into doing my make up for these before too long, but she needs to have a day off and i need to not have massive school workload.
