THIS IS AMAZING. The story line is just wow and your artwork is stunning.

I always wanted to see how Chibiusa and the Sailor Quartet guard Crystal Tokyo and that we see more of Chibiusa and Helios together makes it even better! I also love how the new senshi interact with the "old" senshi. And ahhh - everything's so perfect!

indeed. my favorite parts are how you draw grown up Chibiusa!! squeee. she looks so gorgeous and perfect!!

My drawing pace is gonna slow down a bit as I try to get back into writing a Princess Tutu fanfic I started a number of years ago. Let's hope I can juggle two projects without my Muse petering out.

Also, someone had asked me why young!Chibi Usa doesn't recognize Helios when she saw him. The events in this scene precedes the Death Phantom’s first attack on Crystal Tokyo in the manga canon. The manga gave very little information on that event, except to say that the Death Phantom “single-handedly destroyed Crystal Tokyo, and transformed it into a city of crime.” It was implied that this event took place many years, likely many centuries ago, long enough that people (who, in the age of Crystal Tokyo, live for a long time) had forgotten about him. So this scene would’ve taken place hundreds of years before Chibi Usa would make her fateful trip to the 20th century.

Given that Chibi Usa was already 900 years old at the beginning of the Black Moon arc, I think it’s very likely that she was around when the Death Phantom first struck, though she would’ve been very young, relatively speaking. However, the time between when she first catches a glimpse of Helios in this scene and when she meets him properly would’ve been on the order of centuries. She wouldn't recognize him after having only caught a glimpse of him when she was younger, and then not see him again for hundreds of years. 

I think the more interesting question though, is whether Helios recognizes Chibi Usa, and I think if you look closely at his expression I think you can guess at the answer.

I'm now curious about the joke you have in mind...(PM me if you don't want to say it publicly?)

The last page actually takes place during Death Phantom's first attack on Crystal Tokyo, so it precedes the events of the Black Moon attack by many, many years.

Eep! Sorry for the late reply! You can also find the doujinshi on my DeviantArt, but because I post four pages at a time, not all of the latest pages are there. My Tumblr tag for FR will be your best bet for the latest pages, as I post there and here concurrently.

The rainy season in Japan is from May to July, depending on the region, which fits nicely with the timeline of the doujinshi. It's also the raining season right now here in Southern California, though our rainy season assuming it actually rains is during the winter.

Progress on FR has been slow of late, mostly due to work. But I did manage to sketch out the rough draft for Act 4's cover, with Sailor Pallas. There's only a handful of pages to go before I wrap up this act, so I hope to post the cover soon.

Um...I have new pages to post up the hosting service isn't uploading my images. ;_;

(For some reason I can't get the image host to upload these images. Has anyone else been having this problem?)

Like Shou, I also like the rain, but here in Southern California we seriously don't get enough of it, even in the winter "rainy" season. In fact, where I live it was almost 90F today, and I had to turn on the AC in my apartment ducks as people on the East Coast chuck snow balls at me.

Any who, I'll be working on the cover art for Act 4 (if you're curious, it'll be Sailor Pallas, who, believe it or not, is the second eldest of the Quartet girls). Donno when I'll get the hard copy ready, but I'll definitely post an announcement once it is.

I would rather have 60F weather than 90F weather too. -_-;;

I haven't mentioned what Chibi Usa's classmates think of her yet, but I think she would make them think the same thing that Shou assumed about her: that she's just a fan of the royal family and wears her hair in the same style as the princess. But I think in the future it might be good to make that a little more explicit. :\a

As for the Quartet, I don't think they've even really appeared in public in senshi form all that often before the story began, so the public doesn't recognize them.

The cover looks lovely! Pallas is so cheerful. ♥
