And that's all for Act 6! I haven't started working on the cover yet it's been a little crazy at work lately and I've been left feeling more tired than usual, but I'm looking forward to starting on Act 7 as we inch ever closer to the climax of the story!

I do see Chibi Usa as being quite resilient despite her emotional sensitivity. Just like in the Death a Busters arc, I can see her pick her self up after having mourned her loss.

I sure did! It's been a dream of mine for many years to make a Sailor Moon doujinshi, so to hear that people enjoy it makes all the hard work worth while.

Now I just want to know what happens next!! This is shaping up really nicely, Mangaka-chan. I look forward to Act 7!

Here's a sneak peak at the cover for Act 6. Probably to no one’s surprise, the cover features Sailor Vesta, to round out the last member of the Sailor Quartet. I initially wanted to give her a flaming whip, but then decided against it because 1) with the background I have in mind it would look too busy, 2) I’m not sure I can pull off a convincing flame effect, and 3) I realized having her fist essentially on fire looks weird. :p

Here’s the cover for Act 6! I want to incorporate VesVes’ past as a beast tamer during her Dead Moon Circus days into her Sailor powers, so part of her arsenal is her beast taming whip.

Been a little crazy-busy lately, what with a vacation in November then the holiday season. But I've started Act 7 of Future Reunion, and without further delay, let the seventh chapter begin!

I have a feeling someone has already made Chibi-Usa’s smart phone case. But my in-universe head!canon is that Chibi-Usa first came up with the pattern on the cover of her sketchbook. She liked it so much she got it as a cell phone case. I also see her having five cases and swaps between them according to her mood/the seasons/an reason she can find.

Eeeeee!! Act 7!! I really like the inclusion of the Aeneid as so much in Sailor Moon ties into Greek/Roman mythology. I'm sure this or other Greek/Roman references has poppped up in the story but its been so long since I read the earlier chapters. Now I have a reason to reread it tho! xD

I love your latest addition to the story and the Vesta cover looks great! The way you draw their eyes makes the characters look really pretty and expressive.

The Aeneid was also mentioned in Act 2, and to be honest, like Mayumi I've also never read the Aeneid in its entirety, just summaries and select passages. But as a Greek/Roman mythology geek I couldn't help but inject a little bit of classical literature reference into the story, especially when some of the topics are so fitting. ^^

Holy cow, I've already completed 70% of Act 7! o_0 I think me having to write stuff for work has actually motivated me to work more on my doujinshi as a form of escapism and potentially as a source of procrastination. OTL

I can't wait to see Usa's new piece for the fair. ;D This is so wonderful to read! ♥

Seven chapters later and these two are finally on the same page. I’m sure there’s people who are probably screaming “It’s about freaking time!” at their computer right now. ^^;;

The idea for Hotaru’s violin playing invoking a phantom of young Chibi Usa came about when I was rereading the manga. Hotaru/Saturn’s main attribute is death/rebirth, so that makes me think she’s closely connected with the threads of Destiny. That connection means that while she is not able to directly discern the future like Mars or Neptune, some of that deep connection seeps through when she plays the violin and her music invokes visions of the past and the future. In this case, Chibi Usa also has a strong connection to Shou, and her desire to carry the message in her artwork, combined with the power in Hotaru’s music, created the phantom of the young Chibi Usa that Shou ends up seeing.

I really like what you did with the violin and the phantom of young Chibi Usa. ♥ Very touching.
