| So, I know this volume isn't out yet, but apparentlty, some peoples around the internet managed to get a copy of it a few days ago @_@ I personally can't wait to get my copy X3 I love the infinity arc! For what I think I learned so far about volume 7, it will cover the Telulu and Cyprine/Petyrol acts, and the Mugen Labyrinth. - Spoiler:
Puu will come back, Reika will have some little screentimes for the first time since volume 3, Chibiusa will get her Pink Moon Stick which is actually Luna P. Oh and Hotaru is a robot. Sadly not the "super laser eyed giant" kind of robot but it's still cool.
https://twitter.com/starlightfan800 <-- This person posted some of the mistakes he/she noticed in the translation. I can understand some. Most of them are shameless typos, but what's the big deal with the ô ? I see them in names everywhere no matter what manga I'm reading. (For Exemple: Sumiô Haiba, Yûgi Mutô) Shouldn't be a bother. it's more comfortable to read than "Tenou" or "Kaiou". (Thought the best spelling for me would be Kaioh and Tennoh) |

| Volume 7? Isn't this just a repeat from the previously made manga a long time back? I never knew anything about a "robot" anyone from the anime. :/ |

| I think Hotaru's first re-incarnation is technically a cyborg-of-sorts, due to the horrific disaster she lived through as a young child. |

Why yes it is :B Kodansha has been releasing the 2003 shinsoban of the manga since last year. We all know the story, but it's always nice to see the upgraded art. And I personally enjoy Flanagan's translation even if it's reputated to be "messy". Also, Hotaru being a cyborg is a manga only thing. - Sailor Venus wrote:

| Heh. The "ô" was always such a strange thing for me. Why use the Japanese names but then have to scramble for a different kind of spelling? I do not think that using an "ou" would be that traumatic to come upon while reading their names. -_- |

| I swear in most mangas I read so far, there is "ô" everywhere @_@
... Now that I think about it, it might be because english isn't my native language. |

| The spelling of the outers last names really irks me! It's spelled like Tenno. |

| I think only Haruka's name really bugs me. Ten'ô looks weird, it should be at least Tenô, Tenno, or Tennoh. As for Michiru and Setsuna, I'm fine with Kaiô and Meiô :B Though I heard most native english readers didn't like this :/ |

| Like I actually answered on tumblr the most accurate spellings for their names are: Tenou, Kaiou and Meiou. It's just how they write it in Japanese and I know this since I can read Japanese ^^. Haruka's last name has its emphasis on 'n' so that's why many write it like Ten'ou, Tennou or Tennoh. The 'u' actually means the 'o' is pronounced as a long vocal just like the 'h' in many older mangas but I personally prefer the u since it's just more accurate ^^. One exception happens when Uranus introduces herself; she says she's the guardian (or senshi if we go with the older edition) of Uranus (Tennousei) where we see there's two 'n's in that word. But in her name it's always Tenou so that's why I use it. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to tell y'all this XD |

| Thanks Tsuki! I didn't know that. The way they are spelling them now just confuses me! I purchased my copy a few days ago but I haven't had the time to read it yet! |

| Welcome love^^! And gosh you're so lucky! Mine is still on its way since I ordered it with other books ;___;
So to come back to the names the spellings Kodansha uses are correct but not natural, we only see that kind of pronouncing in dictionaries and since Tenou, Kaiou and Meiou are the most accurate I think Kodansha should just stick with them XD
Edit: And like you can see I use Tenou and Kaiou in my siggies, as well XD I wouldn't use any other since these are the correct ones |

| For me the ô is really strange since it isn't used at all in English and the only other language I know is French where it doesn't affect the pronunciation at all! I wish Kodansha had stuck with the other way too.... |

| haha we all three know French so no wonder we know that letter XD! But yeah it would've been much easier to stick with Tenou, Kaiou and Meiou so I wonder why Kodansha didn't do that...
Oh and about having the emphasis on 'n' in Tenou depends on the people. Some don't emphasis any letter but the emphasis should be on 'n' ^^. |

| I had been a fan about two years when I heard about the new release and was so happy since I considered buying the used TokyoPop's edition XD Kodansha's translation isn't perfect but I dream of owning the Japanese books some day I'm so happy Kodansha's publishing this edition ! |

| Despite buying Kodansha's edition as it comes out, though, I'd love to have a complete collection of the old Tokyopop and Glénat (french) editions. ^^ The original tankoubons looks as good as the new ones. |

| I would also love a set of the Glénat editions! I think it would be really interesting to see how the different versions were translated and it would be a great way to learn some more French! ^^ |

| ^^ if I have the courage to do so somedays, I'll take scans of my volumes. (thought not HD scans like MissDreams ^^" ) The translation is fairly good, but the editing is a bit weird (You can still see some barely erased kanjis), some situations are translated weirdly (ex: The scene where Usagi is like "OH GOD NO" after a girl mentionned a black list. After that "Bunny" (our French Usagi) didn't say that the only word "Black" (Noir) startled her, because of Black Moon (Lune Noire).) and some romanizations are weird ^^" (Manoru Chiba, Motoki Furukawa... Thought I do like their Petyrol for Ptilol) and... The attack names... ("TONERRE DE VENUS!")
I wonder if I should buy Pika Editions's new translation... I'm fine with my Kodansha editions, personally. |
