| As we know there's many characters in Sailor Moon whose name romanisations can cause trouble when they're not being transliterated~ So what do you guys prefer, any characters are alright here. And there's no wrong or right answers [except Tellur and Kaolinite... ] I personally prefer: "Demand" over "Dimande" "Tellur" over "Tellu" "Kaolinite" over "Kaorinite" "Saphir" over "Saffir" "Nehellenia" over "Neherenia" "Metalia" over "Metaria" "Sailor Titanium Kerokko" over "Sailor Titan Kerokko" "Sheba Shingetsu Astarte" over "Shiva Shingetsu Astarte" "Fisheye" over "Fish's Eye" "Rubeus" over "Rubis" ^_^ So are there any particular spellings you guys prefer? |

| I agree with all of the above except I personally prefer Shiva Shingetsu Astarte over Sheba Shingetsu Astarte |

| Though I agree Shiva's perfectly fine, I just feel that Sheba links the character to the backstory and origin better... Because when people usually take Shiva from a mythological background, one would think of the Hindu deity which is completely irrelevant to everything ever while with Sheba, one thinks of the Queen of Sheba who fits in a lot better to the plot, the problem with Sheba is that its just such a weird unorthodox reading of what is transliterally "shiba" particularly that its the kanji "柴" but its technically acceptable since they're homophones in Japanese. ^^ the real problem I have is Tellu o.o like seriously what is that? |

| Shiva sounds better but I must admit that after I read your explanation I really do understand why Sheba fits better after all. |

| Fisheye over Fish's eye. When it spelled like Fish's eye it make me think of an eye belonging to a fish. |

| This link is relevant: Dies Gaudii
In-depth articles about why names should be romanized a certain way. It goes through the entire anime and most of Sera Myu so it's definitely worth looking at if you're interested in this stuff.
Personally I tend to agree with Ian's decisions about 95% of the time.
Also, in regards to "Shiva" vs. "Sheba" - in Hebrew you can use with the b or v sound or the "i" or "e" sound. Personally I romanized this as "Shiva" because there is meant to be a pun between the goddess of destruction in Hinduism and the Queen Sheba from the Torah. |

| I prefer to spell the Outer's surnames with an "h" as opposed to a "u". (Example, Meioh instead of Meiou) Technically both are correct but I just like "h" better.
Also,
Nehellenia over Neherenia Rubeus over Rubis Metalia over Metaria

| I prefer Sailor Moon over Sailormoon because in the English language it would be consider two words not one. |

| Well you guys pretty much listed everything I could think of...
For some reason with "Tenou/Kaiou/Meiou" and "Tenoh/Kaioh/Meioh", I like Tenou better but like the "h" with Kaioh and Meioh better.
lol, i think its just the way it looks. Honestly I don't really care how they are spelled except for when they use "r's for l's just because of the way japanese say it. |

| Or cindy but spelt with an 'S' and two 'Y's: Syndy. or my future daughters' collective name (named after myself): "'Cassidy&'
I know Sheba is better to use but Sh'va is so nice different and unusual. |

| I don't think anyone ever should call their child "Syndy" its kind of like Sydney but its not o.o
It looks like "Syndrome" to me.
Okay okay... getting offtopic now o.o
Here's a new one:
"Flow" over "Flau" |

*edit: sashminda has done so

| I prefer Tenou over Tenoh, Kaiou and Meiou over Kaioh and Meioh. Pretty much the original sub names over the dub For , I prefer Ami rather than Amy. Beryl over Beril Usagi over Bunny Rei over Raye (just...No) Setsuna over Trista but I also think Trista kinda describes her perfectly. She always has that sad lood on her face |

| Again what is 'Tellu' O_o that's not a word stem from anything, nor would japanese people naturally pronounce it 'teruru'.
"Tellur" is the stem from Tellus --Telluris in Latin and its english derivatives, AND fits the "teruru' japanese katakana better. |

Aw, I love them both! I actually did not realize that one was a replacement for the other - I just thought they were said at different times. I like them both because they seem to have two different connotations. V-chan is more affectionate while V-babe has that spunky fun lilt to it that describes the bond that Usagi and Minako have with their shared personalities. ^^ |
