Oooooh! That was pretty cool.
So i've been meaning to ask, I've been reading a lot of mixed feelings on tumblr about the Korra finale. I have some issues with it, but I still overall enjoyed it thoroughly and seriously can't wait until season 2.

MY GOD I LOVED IT!!!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
I had no issues with it. I mean yeah it would of been nice to have some fillers for character development, but I still loved it regardless. No show is prefect. Plus Korra was only suppose to be 12 episodes.

The unresolved Asami REALLY REALLY sits wrong with me... I've been cheated on before, so while I don't HATE mako, and think they are totally aroable together, I REALLY REALLY REALLY dislike that part being unresolved, and don't think it was fair to Asami at all... that and I feel like it teachs kids (ha I know, cause this is supposed to be a kids show... hahahaha...) that if you find some one else you like, it's ok to ditch the person you are already with for some one else...it's so easy for them to be together (Mako and Korra), there were no consequences... no real problems came from that.. :\ that is NOT how it goes in real life. And with the next season not coming out till next year.. well, even if they fix it then, there are still the people who will have lost interest by then... so yeah... /end rant

I agree they should have handled the whole mako/korra/asami thing better. But I feel like that Asami kissing Mako on the cheek in the finale was there break up scene. It was very subtle. That's just me. I liked Makorra better anyway so it didn't bother me as much. I just wish Mako and Korra got to know each other before Asami came into the picture. Then they're love for each other would be more believable.

I can agree to that, I think Mako is great for Korra, but I wish the ending had been a lot more clear because there are kids who only see the face value, and don't always see things that aren't said aloud in clear words.. ya know?

Omg yay a Legend of Korra thread. <3 this series/ATLA is like my current obsession because it is just. so. good. Like I can't. And the first season ended so well. So many great twists. I was sitting there guessing and guessing and trying to figure it all out and they threw all these curve-balls. It was great.

On the Mako/Asami and Korra bit... I don't know. I really really felt like that whole thing was completely rushed between Korra and Mako. I mean instantly she liked him and then in the finale they were like "I love you" "I love you too". And I'm just like "wow, this won't last at this rate..." *shakes head*. I'm kinda mixed on it. I see a bunch on tumblr about it, and one person pegged Asami to blame for her own failed relationship with Mako because she always avoided talking to him about how he felt about her, if he liked Korra, etc. She just let it sit there and fester until they finally had a confrontation at Tenzin's and then that was like...it. I'm guessing they broke up in the finale, since it seems that way. And now people are saying that she and Iroh are going to get together in season 2 lol
And to be honest, when it comes to Asami, I was totally expecting her to side with her dad and Amon/Noatak because she had all these reasons to. Like what was going on with Mako being a big one. Korra "stealing" him away and whatnot... Then, just the fact that that was the side her dad was on. I mean I'm proud of her for not going to the wrong side, but I was totally expecting it. She could potentially be a bad guy in season 2. I can see it.

Yeah I was definitely waiting for it. I was like "Okay she has all the reasons..." lol and then it never happened. But it still could. I mean they need some kind of baddie for season 2 I mean I don't necessarily want her to be bad, but I can definitely see it happening.

This is true. It would probably be a really sweet episode with a lot of feels. I can see it.

Oh I agree lady, kids wouldnt catch on to it. I really think Bryke had the older fans in mind than the kids.

so did anyone hear about book 2 and the fact we're going to get 4 seasons out of Korra?! Book 2 sounds really awesome! We get to find out more about Spirit World and it looks Bolin will get proper screentime since he's going on the who am I journey thing.
Book 2 takes place six months after Amon. People on tumblr are complaining it about. Why? I have no clue. I think it's great to have a six month gap. Do you really want to watch an episode of Korra returning bending to people who lost theirs. That would be boring. I guess every fandoms have people who complain about things.

Omg that's great to hear that Korra will be 4 seasons. I couldn't see it as too short since I knew the fan response would be too great. And people are just so picky. I'm cool with a 6 month gap. Sounds realistic. Sailor Moon didn't have back to back major enemies either I don't believe.

I'm not sure about the release date. At saw videos from comic con that have voice overs over frames. So it's probably going to happen in 2013. I hope in the winter like January. That's went ATLA came out. I also hope it airs Friday nights like ATLA did.

I was all day in tumblr yesterday stalking the korra tag and so far I'm loving the concept for book 2 and it looks like we'll be having some more character development Also I don't mind the 6 month gap since Amon at all. I would have a problem with it if it were something like in DBZ, skipping 7 freaking YEARS!! I mean really!

Does anybody have a theory on how it was possible for Noatok to take away bending via bloodbending? I feel like it would make more sense if he was just chi blocking and everyone just needed to re-open this blocked chi but that didn't seem to be the case...
Even energybending would've made more sense than bloodbending, but the story people shot that down too lol

It's been said that Azula's voice would be back for season two. The actual voice actress for Azula (Grey Delisle) said so herself. She mentioned on her twitter and Tumblr that she would be voicing the villan named 'the dark spirit', but it's not clear if this 'dark spirit' IS Azula
