Plot Summary: Ami has been chosen to give the words to a children's spelling bee. Usagi, being super excited, wants to tag along. And help! Of course, Usagi's vocabulary isn't quite as advanced as Ami's... But how can Ami possibly say no to that sweet face?

Ami was sitting at home looking over her mail and noticed that she received a package, "Hmm this is sort of odd..who is this from..let's see.." To a sort of semi shock the package was from a local children's spelling bee competition that wanted her to say the words to the contestants. Inside was the long list of words with the ways to say them and their definitions and other things. "Wow..this is so cool...I feel very honored...I should get started practicing now..." She took out the pages and put her reading glasses on and begun to read over the words.

The skies were beautiful this day, the sun shines, showing all of its glory, the sun couldn't fear being prideful of its own light, after all the Princess of the Moon isn't ruthless or envious at the point of blasting anything more prettier than herself or a part of herself, that is the Moon itself, one may wonder if we're talking about a deity...

That depends of what you do define as a deity, because you see...sometimes the things that are more closer to deities may be more...common than extraordinary...like one blonde girl sleeping into a pretty girlish bedroom, Usagi Tsukino, Princess of the Moon, Heiress of the Silver Crystal, the closest thing of a deity that you may find and unlike what one would expect...

She wasn't any different from a common girl...and as every girl of her age...the sun itself couldn't take her from her dreams...obviously that doesn't stand forever.

Usagi yawned as she awakens and looks to the sky from her window, the sun gleamed like a crystal chandelier in the skies and the clouds seemed fluffy, the most strangest part is that she...actually wasn't tired and ready to crumble over her bed 'Hm...wahhh...' She lifts, slower than a slug and after fixing herself and taking her breakfast, she looked around her bedroom...she had nothing to do...

'I am so bored...Chibiusa is out seeing Hotaru, Mamo-chan is out to do some exam...what do I do? Sleep? Eh, I am bored! Not tired!' She decided to take a walk, maybe go to the arcade 'Maybe I end up meeting one of the girls in the way...' The blonde girl arrived close of of the arcade, but finding it closed, she just sighed 'I think that if I do transformed right now I would become Sailor Boredom...' Wandering without any point or a set path in mind she ended up at the front of Ami Mizuno's house, now...one wouldn't think nothing of the house itself, but when one knows that she is Sailor Mercury, you do wonder if your neighbor could be, in truth, Superman.

'What Ami-chan is doing?' Then, completely bored and wanting to find something to do, Usagi knocks the door "Hey! Ami-chan! It is me! Usagi!'

Ami was reading over and memorizing the spelling words when there was a knock at her front door. "who could that be??" She said walking over still holding the Spelling notes and then heard Usagi.. Ami opened the door and let her in. "Hi Usagi..what brings you over today..No Arcade open?? oh and im actually surprised your not with Mamoru..anyway..whats up?"

"I am okay! Just a lot bored! Mamo-chan is out doing some exams, Chibiusa is Hotaru-chan and I have nothing to do!" She said smiling, then she pulled her into a hug, after letting her go the blonde looks to the note, blinking, staring 'What would that be? Hm...wait, a letter!? Maybe is it...?!'

"Hey Ami-chan! Is that a love letter?!" She asks.

Ami listened to Usagi's explanation of what she was doing and then hugged her back. When Usagi thought Ami was holding a love letter she got red for a minute..."No it's not a love letter...I have been chosen to announce the words for the children's spelling bee thats coming up. I was practicing them until you came over. Maybe I can pretend that you are one of the kids and say the words to you...what do you think Usagi?"

'Spelling? Oh! That is super easy!' `Super-easy` Usagi really expected that those words would be Japanese words instead of English words, her smile broadened, feeling confiant to go and try her hand at that.

Ironically later on she would remind about this day as what Lelouch 'drama' Lamperouge would say 'An Apocalypse!' then shuddering in shame as a shy blushing teenage meeting her first heartthrob.

"Yes! I am good at Spelling!" Her mood changed from bored child* to energetic 'woman'child in seconds, sometimes you wonder if Chibiusa is really the oldest sister...Yeah no.

"It is pretty easy actually!" Yeah...sure Usagi-san.

*I am trying to use a new writing form where I throw some funny remark about the character, just to expand detail.

Ami giggled, "Nothing personal Usagi...but these words would be way to hard for even you to figure out...I am glad Chibusa is not here too..I would have a harder time with this...but If you wish to try then be my guest...Come sit over here and I will read a few words to you, ok?"

Ami walked over to her bed sitting on it and looked at list ready to give her friend a try at the super hard words the committee came up with for the kids this year...

Usagi, feeling a stream of energy running in her body thanks by having something to do finally, shouted happily "Goodbye Boredom!" Then, into a really good mood and feeling ready to anything, she sat before Ami, ready to hear her words.

Ami smiled and looked down at her list. 'Hmm where in the world to start off..none of these will be easy not even for the actual spellers.' She thought then told Usagi, "Alright Usagi..your word is Foulard." She repeated it a few times for her friend and gave her a sentence and definition using the word. "give it a try Usagi..whenever your ready." She was very hopeful for her friend and would do her best to encourage her.

Foulard? Hm...oh please?! That is easy! The blonde coughs, readying her voice, then she began "F-O-L-U-A-R..." Ops?! Wrong! "NO!" She quickly waved her hands frantically "Let me try again!" Then she coughs again, then she starts "F-O-U-K-A-L-D! Yay! I managed it!"

Ami listened closely to her friends voice and was about to say she got it wrong but was super close when Usagi quickly waved her off and started again. Ami continued to listen and when Usagi finished Ami told her, "Very close both times Usagi..but both wrong, I'm sorry. Though on the bright side and yes I know that was the first word, I think your doing great...let's try another word..." Ami quickly scanned the words hopefully finding an easier word but that was a hardship on its own as the people of spelling bee's that choose the words never make it easy on the children.

"Usagi...when you are ready..your second word is...Drought. Here is the word in a sentence.. There was a Drought going on outside so Sailor Mercury made it rain with her powers."
