Personality Traits: Alexa is frightened by most things in life, and is terribly pessimistic. She expects the worst to happen, and prepares herself for it. She tends to hide away instead of facing any kind of percieved danger. However, she feels guilt about this. Coming from a family full of Police Officers, ones who are well renowned for their deeds all over the world, Alexa feels that she, too, needs to be just as brave. A bringer of justice. It sounds great in her head, but as soon as she even begins to entertain the idea, her heart races and her knees quake and she finds herself staying home instead.

Alexa rarely goes outside, which, in some ways, has only strengthened her fears as now she doesn't have much experience with interacting with other people - a fact that she is happy about, as people who are not her family scare her as well. (And if she is being truthful, even some members of her family scare her!)

However, despite this, Alexa is able to conjure up bouts of bravery. She'll muster up all of her courage and force herself to do the thing that she is avoiding - although this burst doesn't normally last for long. She is kind, always trying her best not to cause problems for other people, and attempts to help others when she can (and sometimes, even when it feels she can't). Pokemon excite her and make her feel safer - although there are times when they can scare her too.

Alexa has a great desire to become better than how she currently is now, wanting to live up to the Jenny name because that is what is expected of her, and she doesn't want to disappoint her family. She hopes that maybe, just maybe, this adventure will help her achieve this goal.

That is, if she can get out the front door.

Universe Specific Information: The Pokemon Universe is a world similar to a modern Earth in some ways (they have bikes and techology and etc) but they have vast amounts of creatures called Pokemon that roam their land. There is a great variety to these Pokemon (there are over 800 known species at the moment) and the ways they interact in the world and with humans can vary just as much. Some Pokemon are wild and unruly, attacking on sight, whilst other Pokemon have lived amongst humans for years and help them with their tasks. Children of the Pokemon world often go on adventures where they seek out Pokemon and battle with other trainers and make friends along the way.
Storyline Specific Information:
(RTRP) PokéBeginnings: Alexa, along with several other new trainers, gathered together at Professor Maple's laboratory to be given their very first Pokemon - a rite of passage a new trainer must go through before beginning their journey to various towns and cities. Each of them were given a choice for their starter, and then also given a Pokemon Egg which they would have to hatch themselves. What awaits these new trainers now that they have their partners remains to be seen.

Pokemon Prism: A group of newly initiated trainers are recruited to help Professor Maple explore and learn about a whole new area - Raitoh - an area that no one has ever been to before. Together, equipped with their freshly met starter pokemon and mysterious pokemon eggs, the new trainers will have a whole lots of adventures.

Additional Information: Alexa is part of the "Officer Jenny" family, and growing up, she has always been expected to go on to become an Officer as well. It was expected that, like most girls from the family, she would be raring to go as soon as she could - that she would want to jump on the chance to have an adventure. That her family would have to hold her back until she was of proper age.

But Alexa doesn't want to have an adventure. In fact, the very idea of adventure frightens her. She doesn't want to admit it, but most things tend to frighten her. She's heavily dependent on her family, always sticking close to them or her mother's Growlithe whenever she is outside of their home. Somehow, she's been able to hide her fears from her family - an easy feat when everyone already expects big things from you, and it's easy to hide in such a huge family. Now, Alexa's dreaded day has come. She's 10 years old, the general age when Alexa's go off on their adventures, and her family have turned adoring and expectant eyes towards her.

Rather than tell the truth, Alexa has kept with the lie, pulled up a smile, and told herself it wasn't as wobbly as it felt. She could do this right? She was a Jenny and she would be an officer some day. This won't be so bad. Right?

RP Sample: The day had come, and here was the building. Alexa had hoped she'd figure out a way to stall this day for a little while longer. But her family's adoring eyes had stared straight through her, so excited for her.

And now Alexa stared up at the building, tall and white. She frowned at it, wishing it to simply disappear. If it was no longer around, then she would never have to go inside. But after a moment of willful thought, the building still stood before her. And inside it, her doom.

With a small sigh, she glanced over to the others around her, keeping her arms tight to her sides - protective.

When the woman, Professor Maple, exited and said her greeting - her panic was so great, she wasn't even certain what words had been said - Alexa knew her heart was going to pound out of her chest from how fast it was racing.

The offer to come inside was polite and kind, but she felt herself hesitate. Going inside was the last step. If she took that step forward, there'd be no turning back. The point of no return! No, no. Alexa glared at the still-there building, trying to muster all of her gusto. Or her guts. Panache? Or was it ganache? Wait, wasn't that chocolate?

Oh, now she was stalling. Oops. Alexa let out a little sigh, before taking a step forward. There, that was good. Now another. And another.
