2nd floor Hallway

He merely had time to react, the mirror slamming into him fast, but his eye's reflective power was enough for the contact with the wall not to be too disastrous. The shout of pain it forced out of his throat had probably been drowned in the loud bang that echoed in the hallway, the prince barely landing on both his feet. He was dizzy and confused, Nehelenia's presence not forgotten, but he had overlooked her.

The damn mirrors, of course.

2nd Floor Hallway to Library

“...If you were the slightest bit intelligent, you would have realized that this thing is a generator: an apparatus capable of turning mechanical energy into electrical energy!” Viluy sneered, laughing at how Diamond had ignorantly categorized her valuable machinery as a mere object. “In other words, when the power goes out again in this villa, I will still have light.” She took the generator into her lap and stroked its metal-plated surface, satisfied with her new found sense of self-pride. Despite the amused laughter that soon followed, Viluy still couldn't help but feel infuriated by Prince Diamond's attitude and would have seized her nanobots on the young man, but the woman in the background with the flowing black hair had unexpectedly summoned a mirror and slammed him into the wall with it. Ahhh Sweet revenge.

“Hah! Serves that idiot right,” Viluy remarked to herself while watching the prince teeter around in pain and confusion. After gathering the generator and battery into her arms, the girl finally stood back up. This time, she took the extra precaution to coil her cables around her arms before strutting past Diamond as if she had never fallen—although, evidence of the fall remained on her lab coat in the form of faint gray smudges.  

“I would love to stay and pick a fight with you,” she remarked with an over-exaggerated shrug of her shoulders, “but I have some more important business to tend to in the library.” That being said, Viluy quickly excused herself down the remainder of the hallway to the library entrance. Hopefully Tellu wouldn't mock her too much for fleeing the scene of her embarrassing fall.

As the white-haired girl entered the library, her focus remained solely on the computers; she hadn't even noticed the green-haired girl waiting inside to ambush her—that is, until that woman with long black hair shouted something from the hallway:

“Junjun! You will listen to your queen and obey her! Get back to the room where you belong!”

Alarmed, Viluy's eyes darted around the room in search of the girl possessing an amazon stone. “You have three seconds to state your business here in the Witches 5 Library before I destroy you,” Viluy announced to the hidden assailant. She brought her palm out in front of her body ready to attack with Mosaic Buster if necessary. "One..."

Bedroom 2

Of course, it would have come this way.
How could he even think, just for a minute, that he could have some time to relax?
No, why should he? Stealing supplies for Beryl while Zoisite and Kunzite could have fun downstairs seemed, without a doubt, perfect!

The blonde General rolled his eyes as he got the instruction to steal the supplies from the pink-haired Sailor Moon, his arms crossed and the annoyance literally engraved in his face. Just why was Beryl never satisfied with the things she had? Why did she always complain about everything? Probably just on her period, that lady.

"Fine," he only said after a while, leaving the corner he stood in and heading to the door to leave the room. "We'll be back in a few minutes. Don't wait for us."
Suppressing the anger he had about the new 'mission', he just lifted his arm into the air, the fingers of his hand splayed, symbolizing a goodbye as he followed Nephrite.

Hallway, 2nd Floor

To his advantage, the hallway seemed empty yet, the people apparently all in their rooms. Well, at least something.
With his pace gradually increasing, he caught Nephrite up, his eyes wandering from the left to the right to ensure they were still alone.

Bedroom 4

"Nephrite, get a move on," he hissed as he finally stood in her room and searched for the supplies, completely ignoring the scream and the sudden darkness that came over the villa. It probably just was that professor and some experiment, after all. "Nephrite!"
After calling him once more, he gave up. Sooner or later he would help searching anyway. At the latest when Beryl would yell at him.

He grinned at the thought.

"Jackpot," he whispered eventually, a broad grin on his face and the supplies in his arms. "Here, grab some too!"
Surprisingly glad about the find, Jadeite grabbed more and more supplies, his arms already crammed - when he suddenly heard someone approaching the room. Was she already back?

"Dang it!" Letting some of the supplies fall as he got panicked, Jadeite quickly started to teleport back, giving Nephrite a hand gesture to follow.

2nd floor Hallway

Nehelenia felt a sadistic glee as she saw the white haired man being slammed up against the wall by her mirror. But when he eventually turned around, she finally saw the third eye on his forehead and a puzzled scornful look appeared on her face. “Are you a cousin to a triclops? How hideous.” A gesture of the hand, and the mirror she had used to slam Diamond flipped around with the dark mirror fading him. Another gesture, and it swept forward, slamming into him once more. With the mirror in front of him, and the wall behind him, there was no where to go but inside the mirror for the white haired freak.

Nehelenia felt extremely proud. Now just to reign in the wild green Amazoness girl, and she could return to her previous mission. She made a third motion and the mirror holding Diamond leaned against the wall as if hung. Now didn't that add a lovely touch of sophistication! But...oddly, now she noticed, it seemed as if everything else was less elegant than it looked before. She decided it must be simply because of the comparison to her beautiful mirrors.

Diamond was recovering slowly when Nehelenia's words came to his ears. He glanced at her with disdain. How insipid she was. How simply ignorant of her to judge a power much powerful than her own simply by the looks of it. He was about to react when the mirror started moving again. He faced it, trying to slow its progress, but ending up trapped inside of it. There would be hell to pay when he broke out of this place. He could feel himself out of it, his energy weaker, his eye unable to close and his body unresponsive. His image was frozen with his third eye widely open as his two own were squinting, an upcoming storm shaking the very edges of them.

Dining Room

Kunzite frowned when Sailor Iron Mouse dodge and tried to escape, but he had no desire to chase after her. Instead, he threw a second blast at the back of her legs as she ran, hoping to at least trip her up.

"I'll be more accurate if I see you again," he said. He went to look back at Zoisite, and realized that there was something different about the dining room table. "Didn't the table look...newer a few minutes ago?"

Staircase

Galaxia was about to move farther up the staircase, when she heard shouting. She could hear some crashes and banging, and then some more shouting. Galaxia inched herself against the railing, hoping she wouldn't be detected. She could recognized the voices-the man with the cape and that girl from the study with the bracelet. There were a few additional voices screaming and hollering-did someone get possessed? What on earth was going on up there?

Galaxia leaned against the railing for a bit, weighing her options. On one hand, there seemed to be quite the battle brewing on the second floor. On the other-her chair was up there. Would she be able to fight her way through?

Suddenly, the texture of the railing changed. Galaxia looked down, to see that the staircase had somehow shifted. She blinked and rubbed her eyes. The railing, the carpet, even the walls had changed. They all looked so...old.

"Unbelievable." Galaxia grumbled as she made her decision. If they were going to fight enough to distort the entire building, then she was going to get her chair before they did something to change it. She ran up the rest of the stairs, her wrists up and bracelets ready to go.

2nd floor hallway

When she reached the top, she noticed the man in the cape was trapped in one of those mirrors-and he was ready to blow, by the looks of how the mirror was shaking. The woman she had confronted before in the study was in the doorway to the library, her back turned to them. 

"I should have known it wouldn't be this easy." Galaxia groaned, Her bracelets still up, ready to counter anything that came her way, she snapped at the woman who had had the mosaic bracelet, in hopes of getting her attention.

"Hey! Thanks for kicking me outta my room, asshole! I really owe you one!"

Black Lady was lying on Prince Diamond's bed relaxing and playing with Luna P, when suddenly the room seemed to change. It was strange, things started to look old, like really old. So old that it seemed like they were from a different era. What was going on?

Dining room and into hallway then up to second floor hallway.

Iron Mouse ran for her mousy life and fell on the way out causing the second energy ball to hit her feet and part of her legs.. "OUCH!!" she then got up, not looking back and went up the stairs..the stairs that apparently had changed from before and now were quite older. when she got to the second floor, people were all around her, the prince in a mirror, some of the wild-haired children and the false Queen and that computer geek was running around with something. Then she saw Her Queen and went to her side, knowing what she was after. "Iron Mouse here to serve you My Queen" she got ready to attack as well.

Second floor hallway

"Ouch!"

Galaxia grinned. That was the voice of her bumbling lackey. She saw Iron Mouse stumble up the staircase, and laughed evilly as Iron Mouse returned to her side.

"It took you quite a while to catch up, hm? Those boys downstairs cause you that much trouble?" Galaxia dismissed the notion with a wave of her hand. "Well, that doesn't matter now. What matters is that we get what truly is ours! Ready your bracelets, Iron Mouse! We'll show these fools not to take us lightly!"

Galaxia brandished her bracelets and aimed them at the woman who kicked them out of the study, the one who had her back turned, and in the entrance of the library.  She then boomed boldly:

"GALAXIA CRUNCH!"

Second floor hallway/ doorway to Library 

Iron Mouse was about to answer her Queen but then she was going to attack someone in the doorway of the Library and grinned as she wanted to help Her Queen saying "We will get what truly is ours!' She then aimed her bracelets the same person as her Queen and yelled,  "Galactitcia Crunch! Take that you nerd"

PallaPalla observed the chaos, watching as Nehellenia trapped Diamond in her mirrors. "And that's what you get!" Palla couldn't help but shout, blowing a raspberry in Diamond's direction.

"JunJuuun! Come baaaack!"

However, as she looked around, she noticed something...rather odd. The furniture looked...older? When did this happen? PallaPalla was confused!

Hallway and then Room 4

The reason Nephrite paused was because, during the momentary blackout, he believed he had seen a flickering golden light coming up the stairs. Was it a threat? He waited a second to try to ascertain what it was, but it did not move again. Even with eyes trained from being in the darkened environment of D Point, he could not make sense of the flickering gold he was seeing.



Both Jadeite and Beryl yelling at him in the same moment nearly made him jump, pulling his attention away from the fleeting form on the steps. "I thought I saw something....sorry my queen. We are going now." Following Jadeite into the room, he saw the other man scoop up supplies. But he glimpsed a tuft of pink odangoes through the crack in the door and as Jadeite winked out, he followed suit.



Room 2:

Back at their room Nephrite grit his teeth in anticipation of the tongue lashing he was going to get or worse for coming back empty handed. But in his defense, he was only trying to protect his queen and ascertain of there was a threat approaching. That, surely, was more important than a few cans. Nephrite knew Beryl would see it differently.



"My apologies for not returning with the full supplies. We were intercepted." Suddenly something clicked in his mind and he realized what it was that he had seen. "But I know where to get more.", he added, hoping to buy some time with their queen. What a prime opportunity this would be if the golden clad one had left her room.



Turning to Jadeite he said, "The golden bird has left her roost. Make sure she stays perched in the hallway. I'll be right back." With that, he teleported downstairs to the livingroom.



Livingroom:

The livingroom was in fact empty, a fact that made him actually grin, feeling fairly proud that his hunch had turned up. Lunging for the supplies, he grabbed what his hands could carry and was about to teleport away when he noticed something strange seemed to be happening to the room. Am I going crazy or did that couch have a different pattern a second ago? he wondered to himself. Every time he blinked it seemed something was changed.



Could it be someone was using some sort of bewitching power on him? With the strangeness of this place Nephrite had to allow it as possible. Was someone actually trying to mess with his memory, or his perceptions? I'm getting out of here...now!, he thought to himself as he teleported away.



Room 2:

He reappeared in Room 2 with his hands full of canned goods, but with a very concerned and wide eyed look on his face. His eyes became even wider as he noticed the bed spread seemed to have changed, and the bed frame was now wooden with ornate carvings. Even the walls were a different color. A trickle of fear flooded through him. What am I seeing?! The cans fell, seemingly in slow motion from his hands. "Please tell me I am not the only one seeing this?",

Inside library near entrance

“...Two...Three... Time's up! Now show yourself so that I can properly dispose of you!” Viluy demanded in a menacing roar. When her order was met with silence, Viluy's blue eyes resumed inspection of the room. Her glance shifted to the corners, the space underneath the tables, the tops of bookshelves—anywhere suitable enough for a potential attacker to hide. “Well, what are you waiting for? Come out here and fight me, you coward! I'm not an idiot. I know you are in here!” the white-haired girl pointed out. Where on earth had this so-called “JunJun” gone? Before she could make another snide remark, two more unwelcomed guests made their presence known to her from their conversation in the hallway.

“Hey! Thanks for kicking me outta my room, asshole! I really owe you one!...”

“...Iron Mouse here to serve you, My Queen.”

Tch! Not these idiots again! Viluy thought to herself in annoyance, immediately recognizing the set of voices disturbing the eerie stillness of the library as those belonging to the chandelier woman and the mouse girl.

“...GALAXIA CRUNCH!”

Viluy whipped around just in time to parry the disk of cosmic energy hurtling toward her.

Hah! What terrible aim! The white-haired scientist sneered as the blast flew on past her and struck a few books off of a nearby shelf. She was completely unaware that her quick sidestep had set her up directly for Iron Mouse's Galactica Crunch.

“Galactica Crunch!”

The small burst of energy struck the back of Viluy's wrist, knocking the generator painfully against her chest and the battery on top of it to the floor. Clenching her teeth, Viluy looked down at the red welt forming slightly below her right hand. How had she managed to let her guard down so foolishly!? Looking up at the two attackers with scorn, Viluy massaged the stinging pain away from her wrist and then held her left hand out, prepared to show them no mercy if they dared attack her once more. Her complete focus now rested on Iron Mouse and Galaxia: the girl had completely forgotten about JunJun.

“Oh?” Viluy began, feigning interest with a small smirk, “Back for more already?...Or have you come to take my generator?” She briefly motioned to the piece of equipment in her arm. “What's wrong, did your bulb burn out already, chandelier?...Either way, I'm not letting a bunch of idiots lounge around in a room meant to serve the academically elite!” With the heel of her white boot, she shoved the large battery across the floor, behind her and out of the way.

Galaxia laughed. "Chandelier? Is that the best you can come up with?" She walked a bit closer to the entryway of the library, her bracelets still in front of her.

"Now, why don't we be a dear and let me in? There are some items I would like to retrieve unless..." Galaxia's bracelets flared up, twinkling with power. "You want some more?"

From entrance of STUDY back into STUDY, then doubling back out to UPSTAIRS HALLWAY

When Tellu had initially started to come out of the study to see what food she could steal, quite a few people had been out in that Upstairs Hallway causing all sorts of chaos.  But Tellu had taken so long deciding where to go that enough people had now retreated back into their rooms such that there currently didn't seem to be any good opportunities to steal anything.  However, Tellu had noticed the golden-clad lady from before, as well as her mouse-woman friend, attacking her teammate Viluy.  Now seemed to be as good a time as any to make them pay.

So she retreated back into the Study, made her way around Professor Tomoe's assortment of things to the desk in there, and picked up a few of her potted plants.  Carrying them back around the professor's things to the room entrance, she went back out into the Upstairs Hallway and tiptoed down it to near the entrance of the Library.  Then she silently commanded her plants to attack the golden-clad lady (since her mouse-woman friend seemed to be gone at the moment), hoping to catch the golden-clad lady by surprise.

"Now..Where were we?" She grinned menacingly, but not before feeling something crawl over her. 

"What the hell!?" Galaxia snapped, looking down. There were vines, and she was trapped. Grunting, she tried to position one of her wrists at one of them, but found her arms were bound to her side.

"Who dares attack Sailor Galaxia!?" She shouted, trying to arch her head as to see her unknown attacker.

UPSTAIRS HALLWAY near entrance to LIBRARY

"Just Viluy's silent roommate who saw you try to come into our room before.  I now see you haven't learned your lesson from your previous defeat!" Tellu exclaimed happily, not bothering to move to be seen by this golden-clad lady that she had successfully tied up.

"So, what should I do to you now, you over-ornate light fixture?"

Library

“Formulate a better insult on a metal trash can like you? Please!” the presumptuous scientist laughed, “It would be a complete waste of my intellect!” From her peripheral, she spotted Tellu creeping up behind Galaxia with a bunch of potted plants, but made no indication of it as she continued to smirk in the metal-clad woman's direction. “You're so dense that light bends around you, chandelier...” Viluy taunted taking as many steps backward as Galaxia took forward. “Even your little pet knows that her place is outside of this library.”

The moment Galaxia took notice of the vines crawling up her body, Viluy dashed for the center table and set the generator upon its surface. She smirked when Tellu decided to finally speak up.

“You mean, what should we do to her,” Viluy corrected her colleague from her position in front of the center table. “Seeing, that she is now on my turf, I think it is best that she plays by my rules.” The white-haired girl tapped her middle and index finger to the blue-colored bracelet. Almost on cue, the six computers in the background booted up, each producing a loud and sustaining buzzing noise.

2nd floor hallway, Outside the Library
Galaxia grunted and struggled harder. Why had she been captured so easily? It was an absolute disgrace!

"You're just lucky that this building has softened my powers!" She mustered out, trying again, in vain, to lift her arms free from her sides. She glared angry at Viluy, who tapped her bracelet. "If I ever meet you outside these grounds, oh ho, believe me, you will regret fighting Sailor Galaxia!"

Galaxia stared as six computers booted up, making a loud and harsh beeping and buzzing noise. Galaxia cringed-the sound was enough to give her a headache.

"What are you going to do with those? Melt my ears?"

Library

“Wow,” Viluy began, her eyes closing as she threw her arms up into the air with her palms facing upward, “You think like a computer...WHEN IT'S OFF.” She placed a hand at her hip in a pompous stance and looked smugly at the woman now bound in place by Tellu's vines. “Of course not! I was thinking more on the lines of connecting these computers to my supercomputer through a proxy —more specifically, the Witches 5 database— and then draining your soul of its energy. But if you want, I could also melt your ears quite literally.” Sighing, she motioned toward the soldering gun on the table next to the computers.

UPSTAIRS HALLWAY near entrance to LIBRARY

When Viluy corrected her on the singular-vs.-plural case of her previous question, Tellu grudgingly replied "Okay, yeah, it's we."  Then she continued on by first getting back at her teammate by correcting her while also taking a jab at her hostage "But a metal trash can would be offended by your comparison, Viluy!"

When Viluy started up the computers and they made that loud buzzing (and beeping, etc.) noise, even Tellu's ears hurt.  But she recognized the greater good of annoying this golden-clad hostage, so she didn't try to complain about said noise.  Tellu slowly moved slightly back up the Hallway toward her Study.  As she did so, she silently commanded her plants to tie up the hostage's body and arms a little more securely.  As she did so, she commented while trying to raise her voice above that computer racket "Just in case your failed lab experiment of a friend comes back!"

Tellu also silently hoped her plants could sustain their position around the golden-clad hostage with all that nasty noise around them.  Though unbeknownst to her, the racket was slowly softening the resistance of the vines of her plants to any struggle against them (like to bend them), such that if Galaxia struggled hard enough, and had enough strength, she would eventually be able to bend those vines to free herself.  So maybe it was a good thing that Tellu was trying to tie her up more with said vines (so that the golden-clad hostage would have to bend or break more vines to free herself). But still, Tellu had only brought a few plants with her, so she would run out of vines before long.

Living Room to 2nd floor hallway in front of Library 

Iron Mouse went back and forth in the room trying to think of a plan and then heard some stuff going on upstairs and went to check it out. She ran up the stairs to see her Queen stuck in some of those stupid plants from before. "Im coming MY Queen!" She then ran at the vines holding her Queen and heard the loud buzzing noises that now were starting to hurt her mousy ears...she had to hurry.. She then begun to scrape and claw at the vines trying to tear them apart... 'Come on..come on..If I save her..maybe I won't die from losing the supplies'

2nd floor hallway, Outside the Library


Drain her soul? Was this girl out of her mind? Connect it to a database?

"What, you'd store my soul on some computer chip?" Galaxia grunted,continuing her struggle. Just when she was sure she was able to lift one of her bracelets, another few vines ensnared her arm, returning it to it's defenseless position. Then Viluy motioned toward a soldering gun. It was an awful looking thing, and Sailor Galaxia shuddered to think how painful that would be.

Suddenly, she heard Iron Mouse.


"I'm coming, my queen!"

Galaxia would have sighed a breath of relief-but then again, this was Iron Mouse. She was not about to show her gratitude to the rodent-based animate. It was becoming increasingly difficult to think straight, with all the noise. If she were to hear any more of it, Galaxia was sure she'd go mad.

Galaxia turned her head slightly to where Iron Mouse was, scratching at the vines. She spoke-grunted, really- to her in a low tone, hoping Iron Mouse could hear her over the screaming machines and the other two wouldn't be able to.

"Iron Mouse, listen to me. Free one of my arms. Just one. I'll-" She grimaced, these vines were starting to get quite painful.-"I'll be able to handle the rest."

Library

“...Sure, Whatever. Just speaking at your level of thought is giving me a headache...Anyway, since you are stuck where you are, I will proceed with phase two of my operation,” Viluy announced, arrogantly turning her back to Galaxia to tend to the library computers. The girl's attempt to connect the computers to the Witches 5 database only revealed the same certification error from before, on all six of them.

The certificate does not come from a trusted source. The certificate will not be valid until 08/28/2015 11:24 AM. The current date is 08/28/1973. (Error code: not_yet_valid_issuer_certificate)

And now all of the PC clocks seemed to be frozen with the time illogically reading 19:73 in addition to the 8/28/1973 date.

“...Looks like we're experiencing some technical difficulties...” Taking a moment away from the “fight” with Galaxia to sit down in one of the many swivel chairs surrounding the desk, Viluy manually skimmed through the source code on all of the computers in attempt to pinpoint whether or not malicious software had been injected into the coding to communicate instructions for the machine to resist user input. Much to her surprise, none of the computers listed any errors to display, so Viluy proceeded to execute command prompt.

“...”

Like before, command prompt failed to overwrite the changes made to the PCs, though for some reason or another, entering in the corrections for the date multiple times did cause the printer to produce a brief printout. Viluy picked up the sheet of paper from the tray, held it up in the light, and inspected its bold print.

INPUT FAILED ON:
DATE: AUGUST 28th, 1973 TIME: 19:73

“...What the hell?” Viluy's expression was far from amused. She crumpled the piece of paper and tossed it aside. “...You leave me no choice but to scrap you for your parts and rebuild you from scratch, computer,” Viluy threatened the inanimate object. She whipped a floppy disk from her lab coat and shoved it through the disk reader, but even an infected disk couldn't prompt a response from the stubborn PC, let alone wipe its hard drive clean. Shortly after, the printer produced another sheet of paper with the following message:

ACCESS DENIED ON:
DATE: AUGUST 28th, 1973 TIME: 19:73

Viluy slammed her hand against the desk. What was the meaning of this!? The program on the disk should have wiped the hard drive clean! On top of that, she noticed that the older books on the shelves nearby seemed much newer than she had previously remembered. Leaning over in the chair, Viluy picked up one of the titles from the shelf next to the printer and inspected the publication date. Sure enough it was 1973.

19.73%, 197.3, 08/28/1973, 19:73, and now this!

She looked more closely at the book. Upon second glance the stained yellowed pages appeared a crisp white. Horrified, Viluy dropped the book and jumped up from her seat at the desk. She no longer wanted to be a part of this research trip. The computers had turned against her and the professor had vanished... What would happen next?

“...Tellu,” Viluy began as she walked toward Galaxia and the doorway to find her colleague, “something strange has been happening ever since the disappearance of Professor Tomoe. At first I—HEY!” She finally noticed Iron Mouse's attempt to free Galaxia from the vines to which she responded with a swift kick.

2ND floor hallway outside of the library 

Iron Mouse kept scraping and tearing at the vines then she heard..barely, 'get one arm free..handle ...from there..' She nodded to her Queen and then tried her best to get that arm free. What she didn't hear was Viluy coming up to her and kicking her on the side, causing Iron Mouse to hit the wall. "OUCHIE!! You STUPID NERD JERK!! LEAVE US ALONE WE JUST WANT YOUR CHAIR!!" She yelled trying to get her voice over the other noises as she got up again and was going to try to go get Her Queens Arm loose again...

UPSTAIRS HALLWAY a little outside the LIBRARY

Being satisfied with the situation as it currently was, Tellu carefully put down on the Hallway floor each of her potted plants that she had taken from the Study, most of which had vines extended from them to tangle up the metal-clad lady.  When she heard & saw the mouse-woman coming down the Upstairs Hallway, she mocked both of them loudly (to hopefully be heard above Viluy's noise) "What?  Are you coming back to save your gilded trash can of a leader?  And you, could you not get any friends or minions on your own, so you resorted to getting one through the result of a failed lab experiment?"

When Viluy went back to the entrance to the Library, Tellu was still just a short distance down the Hallway (toward the Study) from the Library entrance.  Since the computer woman had called her name, Tellu tried to listen to her and tune out (as best she could) the computer racket.  But then, right next to the two enemies, the computer-minded woman interrupted herself to kick the mouse-woman.  Tellu thought to herself satisfactorily 'I never thought I'd see that - kicking someone when they're down in more ways than one.'  She was somewhat curious to find out what the strange thing was that Viluy had noticed (the thing she was about to elaborate on when Viluy interrupted herself), but Tellu wasn't curious enough to go any closer to the computer speakers broadcasting that awful noise.

Bedroom 2

The bedspread under Beryl changed into a hideous one, and she jumped off the bed. What the hell kind of sorcery was this? The rest of the furniture had changed, too. She frowned and looked around disapprovingly.

Nephrite finally returned with failure and an excuse, which was par for the course. Just another day in the incompetence of the Shitennou. If they couldn’t even do basic theft, how were they ever going to defeat the senshi? This was ridiculous.

At least Nephrite seemed to propose another idea. One that Beryl did not understand at all. “Golden bird? Was there a bird in the house?” she stared in puzzlement at Jadeite, because Nephrite had disappeared. Why did he have to talk like that instead of like a normal person?

She sighed and decided to wait for Nephrite to return with this new loot. When a second later he did, Beryl was actually surprised at his sudden improvement in competence.

“Well done, Nephrite, now go put them with the rest of our supplies,” she waved at their pile of supplies on the table beside the bed. “And no, if you mean the ugly furniture, you’re not the only one seeing it. Do any of you know what’s going on and who’s doing this?” She really didn’t appreciate this stupid attempt at redecorating.
