Personally, I watch SMC for my anime and manga blog. It's fun to write about and talk about. For the average Sailor Moon fan though, Sailor Moon Crystal is what's new to talk about. If fans excuse themselves from the show just because they don't like it, they're suddenly ejected from the conversation too.

So? I mean, there are still people talking about the original anime.
Also, why do people have to always be in the conversation? I've never watched any Sera Myu, and when La Reconquista came out I didn't care that moonies were talking about something I didn't watch. I talked about other stuff and went on with my day.

I'm not really sure tbh. I was just referring to how they could of still aired the episodes online if they had decided to just broadcast the show from the very beginning.

Anyway, like Yami I'm indifferent to Crystal getting more seasons. If it does - Yay. If it doesn't - Oh well. I just really don't see the issue with people that don't like Crystal watching the show. People are free to do as they please. Unless I missed the story about a Crystal-hater going on a murderous rampage, I really don't see how them watching is hurting anyone. Razz

Also the discussion about the fandom's overall perception and behavior towards Crystal has already been discussed before and resulted in members getting a little heated so personally I suggest we just focus on solely discussing the show. Cheers

Some people like to take part in conversations though. It's relevant and some people like to stick with current events. That's the reason I'm still watching it. Also it's easier to watch than the myus. At least it is for me. I have a hard time paying attention to Japanese musicals.

The original anime is also twenty years old now. It's not hard to find discussions about the old anime, but they're certainly not as relevant. It's also incredibly fun to view and talk about something even if you don't like it. Otherwise, people wouldn't be as interested in movies like The Room or Birdemic.

I pray that Toei keeps increasing the quality like it has been for the past two episodes. If they could properly adapt Stars, I would be the happiest Sailor Moon fan.

I really hope that they will do all the arcs in Crystal as well. Personally, I enjoy Crystal a lot as I've never been that fond of the 90's anime anyway and despite all its flaws, I still love the manga. Crystal is really doing well at adapting the manga and that's why I really hope to see Infinity, Dream and Stars animated as well, with all the beautiful manga-exclusive characters finally coming to life in animation.
It would be wonderful if they confirm the other arcs as well soon, I already heard some rumors that they might indeed continue the show.

My personal hope, though this is unlikely, would be for Toei to split the chapters in half for Infinity, Dream, and Stars.

That way they could double the length of time of raking in the merch profits, and they wouldn't have to rush through everything to fit in all the plot points and character development.

Well I think we would probably get a SuperS arc since these images were released and we only see the senshi in their princess form during the SuperS arc in the manga.

I hope it's true. I've been a sailor moon fan for over 15 years, and I'm really enjoying Crystal. I find it rather irritating that people claim they don't like it because it's not the same as the original. Well, duh. it's not the original. It was never meant to be like the original.

I'm pretty sure that's not the only reason people don't like Crystal.

To be honest, there is good that will come out of Crystal getting more episodes. We'll inevitably have more Sailor Moon merchandise and there will be a ton of more discussion.

On a personal level, I'm still not excited. When Cute High Earth Defense Club Love has better animation than the reboot of the history's most important magical girl program, I can't help but be jaded. If they got another studio or team or work on S and beyond, I would be so freaking excited. Until then, I'll just be watching it for the conversation and my own blog.

One of my most basic hopes is to FINALLY get a Saturn transformation sequence if/when they continue.

But who am I kidding; I will be openly weeping at the opening shot of Hotaru sleeping while Kaolinite looks into the fountain at Infinity Academy.
