That's exactly what I'm doing. I pre-ordered mine from CDJapan as well, and got the same exact email. I highly doubt they'll be obtanible through normal internet-shopping means. Bandai pulled a really sucky move on us.

Managed to get the Moonlight Memory one through a deputy the day it was announced. Decided to make it an early birthday gift for myself (not to mention the 1992 one I have which is packed away somewhere is totally scratched, broken, and abused >A<).

Now we just need those darned outer senshi henshin wands to come out.

Isn't deputy expensive as sin though? I can't for the life of me figure out how deputy service even works. I know what it is, but that's about it.

Well, they take fees for their service + shipping to their warehouse, but the fee isn't super high either. I use From Japan which I've found is the most reasonable. They take 200 yen commission only (about $2) per item, then plus bank transfer fee, your item price usually ends up being about $10 more expensive than the actual price. There's shipping fee as well, but again that's not super high, and if you group all your items together and ship them at once it's pretty economical too. I've been using them for a year now to get Premium Bandai stuff and I'm personally happy with them cause otherwise I would have to go looking at eBay (and you wanna know crazy expensive prices? look no further than eBay).

Here is a good guide introducing you to how to use a deputy. I also wrote up a more detailed step by step to another member sometime ago if anyone is interested. It only looks complicated, but it isn't really.

I found a seller on Etsy that will make me a laser cut version of the Star Locket for like 22ish dollars with tax not being that much, since my money was refunded on the memory starlight star lockets. That made me sad  But that's life, I guess. 

Gotta make the best out of disappointment, you know?

I've seen the laser cut! I was considering buying one but never got the chance. I might later. Until then, waiting for the proplica. Hopefully the center jewels will be a little more faithful to the original by then, considering the image was a prototype and all.

Yeah, unfortunately the Proplica is way out of my budget  Otherwise I'd get it, but the laser cut does well for me. I just ordered my laser cut Star Locket. I can't wait to see have it!

My locket may not be as awesome as the real official ones, but it's just as beautiful, if not more sentiment to me.

I have the Moonlight Memory Locket ordered through a girl who lives in Japan and acts as a sort of Moonie forwarding service. She wound up ordering close to 200 of these things because the limit on them was 5/per order, not 5/per account. However, it seems that PB are getting meaner and meaner (for the new pointers they had a limit of 5/per person - ack!) so I don't know if she'll be able to help in the future again. But yeah, she has a Facebook group set up for these things. If anyone would like the link, PM me. 

I can't help but wonder about the differences between the MM Locket and the Proplica one, though. My intuition says that the MM one will be an actual wind-up music box, while the Proplica will run on batteries. But that's just a theory... If it's correct then I'm happy to be able to get the MM one, because I much prefer wind-up things to battery-powered items. But if it turns out that the Proplica will also kick butt then I'll be a sad Moonie.

This thing here...  I swear, I need a jeweler to make me one.
