August 30th.Used Canons:Anime/MangaAppearance: Daisuke has very light blue eyes and stark white hair, which he cuts short. His hair still sticks up a little in the back and front despite his efforts. His skin is paler than usual, whether he goes outside or not. He’s around 5’ 6” tall and 150 lbs. He’s skinny and not very physically powerful. His work uniform that he wears on a daily basis is a white, long sleeved suit with blue highlights, and a set of blue slacks. The number of stripes on his collar dictate his rank, and he has 2.Outside of work, he likes wearing simple polo shirts and jeans, but will never wear anything heavier than a long sleeved shirt. He favors cooler colors, like blue, purple, and green.Personality: Daisuke isn't very cut out to be a leader, but he is a very good follower. He is passive to the point of not questioning people too much when he is told to do something, but he does have his own thoughts. He just keeps them to himself unless asked. This also makes him rather easy to manipulate by a smart enough person in the right position. He does have a boundless curiosity, and will often ask near endless questions in order to further understand something he’s interested in. Daisuke is considered naive because of this, and to some people annoying. He likes observing people in an attempt to further understand them, as he has a hard time making bonds with others.Daisuke dreams of one day finding his “niche” in life. He always feels like he’s drifting along in a search for something. His goal is to find an outlet for his computer talents that helps as many people as possible. He likes the feeling of helping someone out, but hates being left in the dark about things he’s involved in. His weakness is his willingness to follow orders, but this also serves as a strength. He will not stop until he completes the task given to him. It’s not strange for Daisuke to work himself into exhaustion trying to accomplish everything.Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Daisuke is a computer genius, and his mind seems to be specially built to understand coding and computerized information. He can hack most machines with ease. However, he cannot swim. He’s not afraid of water, but he sinks like a stone if he falls into something deeper than he is tall. History: During the Silver Millennium, Daisuke was originally not a human at all, but an artificial being. He was an early robotic creation of Princess Mercury’s, a magical and mechanical golem of ice that served her in whatever she needed help with. She had named him Hermes, and often ended up using him as a sounding board for her own thoughts and ideas. She eventually started treating the robot as more of a friend and used him almost like a diary, entrusting him with her feelings and problems. Most of the similarly made robots on Mercury did not have emotion, but Hermes was “flawed” and could identify much better with people, and even copy them. He eventually started to learn to emote himself. When the Dark Kingdom attacked, he was still on Mercury when it was taken over, and was partially destroyed. However, since he was created by Sailor Mercury, his energy signal was similar enough to hers to be reborn as well.Daisuke was reborn in Crystal Tokyo as a regular human, though he does possess incredible computer skills. His soul however, was still drawn to something, and for a good amount of his teenage years he felt restless and without a goal. Daisuke wanted a purpose, and that need brought him to the doors of Neo Queen Serenity’s palace. He quickly gained a job working on the Monarchy’s computer systems, serving under Sailor Mercury’s jurisdiction. Over the past year, he’s been slowly moving up the chain of command via promotions. Though ever since he started working at the palace, Daisuke has been having strange dreams of a world of ice and snow, and thoughts of a girl he can't completely identify. (Can be said by either himself or Mercury)Appearance: Hermes is an 8 foot tall golem, a half mechanical/half magically formed robot servant. His outer shell is constructed of a thick layer of translucent ice, molded into the rough shape of a knight’s armor. His head is very simply designed, looking like a smooth helmet with two eye holes that glow blue. He has no movable mouth, but can still emit noise and speak through little grooves where his mouth would be. His torso is wide and thick as well, and within the ice, gears and metal parts can be seen moving around the small hollow chambers within it. His arms and legs are thick cylinder shapes to balance his weight, but his simplified, three fingered hands can be altered at will for more refined tasks. On the left side of his chest is the mercury symbol that glows blue while he is active.Powers: Hermes may be built like a warrior robot, but his purpose was merely to assist in experiments and tasks around the castle, so he has no true offensive abilities. He can however change out his hands for other tools like tweezers, drills, screwdrivers, and other useful things. He can also connect to computers via touch and store data like a moving USB. Due to a glitch in the process in his creation, Hermes can observe and understand human emotions, and then learn from his memories later. His programming states that he cannot disobey a direct order from his creator. Weapons or Magical Items: Mercury Key- A flat, Hexagonal shard of ice with the Mercury symbol on it. When pressed, Daisuke transforms into Hermes, activating him. It hangs around Daisuke’s neck on a chain.RP Sample:- Here:
Daisuke typed away on his laptop as he sat in a booth at the local cafe, working on his latest project. Ever since he had left school, Daisuke had been working as a freelance programmer, something that was in demand in the high tech age of Crystal Tokyo. It wasn’t incredibly hard work for him, and it paid the bills, but for some reason he was never quite satisfied with himself. His thoughts drifted back to the dream he had last night, only one in an ongoing series. He was in a castle, not unlike the Queen and King’s palace in its crystalline structure, and it was always cold and snowy. He was taller, somehow, and he usually spent the dream following someone’s orders. After a while, he assumed that he was an assistant to a scientist, one who was rather isolated from the rest of society, and they were a girl. He could never see her face clearly, though she talked to him a lot during the dreams as they worked together. And when he woke up, he found that he missed her. The whole thing was stupid and he really should just let the dreams go, but something within him thought they were important.
Daisuke was brought back from his thoughts when a broadcast signal from the palace interrupted the nearby TV playing. The image changed to a young woman he recognized as Sailor Mercury. One of the city’s Sailor Senshi talking on TV wasn’t an odd thing, and it was probably just an announcement about a possible health risk or a new building in the process of construction. Most of the cafe’s customers went back to their food or reading, only half listening, but Daisuke was suddenly held spellbound by Mercury’s lecture. Or maybe it was just her. He had realized where he needed to be: at the palace. There was something about Sailor Mercury that he was drawn to, and he had a feeling the questions about his dreams could be answered by only her. He hurriedly got out of his booth and packed up his things to pay the bill. He needed to see if there were any job openings to work for Crystal Tokyo’s rulers.

| Oh he's really cool! I liked reading his background very much. It's a really neat take on a character. He sounds like he would be a lot of fun to write for, too xD I look forward to seeing him interacting with Ami, that will be fun to read! Everything looks good!
