About the wings:

Oberon physically looks like a young man, one freshly entering adulthood, but with an ageless quality to his traits that often reminds him of his lineage and the species he comes from. He kept the very pale (almost white and seemingly sick) complexion of pure Oberians. He has a very slim build, tall but not much imposing, long fingers and long legs that allow him to sprint fast and run far. This great speed compensates for his lack of great endurance. His feet have a protective membrane that allows him to run barefoot and to hold himself to something by the feet. Back to his home planet, he usually used them to hang upside down from trees.

He has a long face, thin lips and small eyes that hold just as much mischief as they do wisdom and age. They are mostly gray, but at times, they seem like they're mirroring everything surrounding him, making them deeper. Or sometimes they just seem empty. Though he rarely smile, his natural expression is benevolent, calm, seemingly serene. His smile, when wide, is bright and warm. ( Figure 1 shows Oberon with long hair while Oberon's current hair in the current timeline is as follows ) His hair is ashes blond and falls against his cheekbones. He will usually slick them back so they don't obstruct his sight, but sometimes he just lets them loose. On very humid days, the point of his hair will start to curl. When in civilian form, his ears appear round and short, but when he lets his wings free, he usually negates the illusion, revealing his ears to be naturally long and pointed. They're not awfully long, but it would take his hair at the end of his jaw to entirely hide them.

When not fighting, Oberon is usually clothed in a black suit with a royal blue shirt. He often wears black gloves and since it's necessary in this society to wear shoes, he prefers proper black shoes (that, funnily enough, often happen to stick to his feet when he tries to take them off at the end of the day, not by the fault of sweat, but because his membrane caught into the material of the shoes during the time he wore them). When he fights, he avoids heavy armor as he needs speed to be comfortable in a fight. And so he rarely is more protected than by leather or light fabric. When not in civilian wear, his main color is blue. He prefers cold color to the vivid one his species is fond of.

No matter his clothing, he always has a necklace with a grey pointed pendant with a pale blue gem in the middle of it.

Main points: Kept a mischievous side from his youth, scholar first, spiritual, thirst for knowledge, quick learner, hates changes, cyclothymic, loyal and honest, trust easily but once the trust is broken he has problems trusting again, needs a purpose to feel as if his existence is worth something, doesn't always have his priorities in the right place, distorts concepts and sometimes truths so it matches his beliefs, can keep a grudge forever, but doesn't condone revenge, can become incredibly moody, he fears responsibilities. Looks wise, is disillusioned. Looks serene, is restless. Looks serious, wasn't always so stiff. The smile rarely reaches his eyes. Most importantly, he still loves life as if he hadn't lived so many years.

Oberon can take charge and do the right thing if it seems like nobody else can. He is a good leader, diplomat, sensitive to others' needs, tactful (when needed), good listener, good strategist, a good public speaker. He knows how to use people's strengths and weaknesses so a fight can turn in his side's favor when the situation seems dire. He is very persistent and determined, not known to back down once he gets started (even when he should), uncomfortable with the concept of giving up. He thinks before acting, the importance of being responsible very high in his priorities. He is reliable and often appears confident and self-controlled.

Or he was, he could. Ever since Metallia's attack on the Silver Millenium, leading a team of more than three or four people (sometimes less) make him anxious. He becomes insecure and self-conscious. He technically knows there was nothing he could have done to save their lives, but that's not something he remembers when he's faced with the responsibility. It is a huge part of why he prefers to obey. He also became quiet and he now generally stirs away from useless confrontation. Despite showing off an inner security, he has fears, insecurities, weaknesses, flaws that he prefers to hide and since he is also very aware of others' emotions and feelings, he can be quite emotional himself. Under the very thick walls he built around himself both mentally and as a real psychic protection, Oberon is emotionally unstable and could crack given the right circumstances. He wouldn't be able to cope with hurting others because he lost control of his wilder side.

He doesn't take failures very well. Not only does it feed his self-loathing, it can freeze him, it will make him second-guess everything he did or does or will do, it will render him restless and invaded by negative thoughts he generally is never able to get rid of. If he can't express his guilt as it happens, the failure will follow him for a while before fading in the background with the rest of what makes him hate himself more and more every years that pass.

There's a certain redundancy in Oberon's life, namely when it comes to serving the Moon Family and it made him dangerously comfortable. Though he can have some initiative, he can also be nothing more than a mindless soldier. He'll rarely ask questions, he'll follow orders sometimes without wondering if they're legitimate or unfair and sometimes he'll be considerably lost or get bored easily without a mission or a particular order to follow.

He likes to do things his way, at his own pace, (which often leads him to be manipulative towards others in his own very subtle way) and thus prefers working alone. He can be rigid in his need of order and sometimes both his bigotry and his assimilation of others' concepts can make him seem closed-minded. Peace and tranquility are for him necessary. Sometimes, he will go off the map willingly so he can resource himself, meditate and then go back in the fight with a rested and ready mind. He is generally friendly but prefers to keep strong relationships rather than having a very large network. He is caring with those he holds dear, showing sincere concern for acquaintance or contacts wellfare.

Oberon can be a bit of a bigot in the way that he doesn't accept people comparing him to humanity. He's not human, he's not from Earth, but though he respects humanity as a whole and despite serving its ruling family later on, he's very sensitive to people calling him a human. He can react badly to it if the day was particularly rough or simply point out he's not one if he's wise enough to realize making a mountain of it won't help anyone. He prefers the company of alien races rather than humans, but he usually makes a point in not showing it.

Even if he seems mostly serene, his eyes often show an inner sadness. For him, it comes from the many many years he's been living, seeing disaster, unfortunate events, witnessing deaths and martyrs. He saw the best and the worst of the Earth, knows the best and the very worst of his own species and being old doesn't always suits him. He will be nostalgic of the time where he was a younger fae and when he's alone he can be left in a somewhat depressive state for days before shaking it off. His old age is why he's been in the service of the royal family for so long. He needs to feel like he has a purpose and he served them so long already that he's not sure where he actually belongs. At this point, he has no dreams, goals or ambitions of his own. He fulfilled a lot in his lifetime and if he can just keep on living while helping others, it's well enough for him. It's not said, however, that he can never find his old spark again, but he lost it a while ago.


Oberians cannot lie even if they wanted to. It's a real weakness and obstacle Oberians generally disguise as a moral choice, as if they were too superior to lie, beyond lying. Oberon doesn't generally give an excuse to why he doesn't lie, nor would he say if the words coming out of his mouth were lies or not (except if asked directly). To counter that weakness, he learned quickly how to manipulate the truth. Misleading or misdirecting people is not something he likes to do anymore, even if manipulation is something he is good at, but some truths are better kept inside.

General Mental Health: Oberon is prone to nightmares that are born from the memories of the numerous wars he fought in his life. Corpses, mutilated ones more so, will bring back terrible images of the past. To calm himself, he generally goes off somewhere and meditate. It can become worse if it's been a while since he got time for himself. Deaths of friends also affect him greatly. He will interiorize most of his problems.

• Telepathic Link: Species ability. He can form a telepathic link between as many as he wants, allowing everyone to speak with each other through their minds. He can feel those people's feelings and pain, cannot block it for himself, but can filter it so the others in the link won't be overwhelmed by it. The stronger the emotions/pain, the more it can affect him or slow him down. The link will only be broken if he dies or if he breaks it himself. The link also allows him to pinpoint a connected mind's location. He is bonded with Titania and has a link with her that can be used at the same time as a link with other people.
  
• Immortality/Regeneration: Oberon cannot be killed by illness or age. Only weapons can kill him. He can use an innate transe/coma/meditation ability that allows him to heal slowly. It's generally why he makes the journey back to Oberon.
  
• Communication: Oberians can communicate with any form of animals, whether they be aliens or Oberians. They are also polyglot, which allows them an innate understanding of any foreign language.
  
• Climbing: Oberians usually have membranes on both hands and feet that allows them to climb even the smoothest surfaces, but because he stayed with humans way too long, he lost the membranes he had on his hands, but those on his feet remain.
  
• Illusions: Though he is quite good at it, Oberon's powers for illusion only aims at the small details. For example, he can change his face, change the form of his ears, making his wings invisible even when they're out, changing his inner voice so it matches his senshi disguise when he's transformed and he uses his telepathic link, etc. He never practiced enough for bigger things.
  
• Flight: Oberon has wings as well, but they are translucent, slim and very long, not unlike a dragonfly's wings. They usually beat at the speed of those of a hummingbird. He can use them everywhere but avoid doing so where there is fire since they can burn easily. They can be used for speed underwater or in the air. In space they work as fine as anywhere else, underwater they need to always move at their usual speed or else they can be twisted or slowed by currents or the overall water around them. If they stop beating at their usual speed in windstorms, they can be twisted by the force of them. Though he always had them, sometimes he can't help but think it's just part of the big fairy joke he became, even more considering his people are actually the cause of the fairies folklore on Earth. The wings are innate of his normal form, but as soon as he came to Earth after the destruction of the moon kingdom, he hid them. He starts using them more and proudly in Crystal Tokyo, NQS ruling making it somewhat easier to be different. By the time Lady Serenity took the crown, he's almost never hiding them, whether he's in knight form or senshi form.

Oberon was born from a family of space travelers. The entire clan, nomads, would go from galaxy to galaxy, taking notes of useful information they'd stumble on along the way, adapting other's customs to theirs when it could be assimilated and creating around their origins a mysticism almost zealous. They were inhumane creatures, similar to the human race in many points, but physically ageless, flawless, with eyes full of galaxies and minds full of forgotten treasures. They were also creatures of nightmares for some civilization and thus soon started to glamour themselves when going out of their planet. They visited Earth at one point, when the civilization was primitive and ignorant, then again and again. It was years apart, but soon, they came to visit every twenty years, causing rumors to spread all around. Rumors, stories. Both that became legends and myths. They took the guise of fairies, tricksters and dryads, inspiration to many of the folklore we know today.

Oberon was a minor part of the clan, as were most children at that time, except for the fact the planet had chosen him to give him the planetary powers and to be King when the time came and he wasn't a child anymore. Another child, Titania Le Fay, was chosen to be Queen by his side when they would be of age, but also his protector, Sailor Senshi of the immortal planet. Not a very supersticious species, the faes of Oberon never questioned that. But despite this, he would be treated like every other children in their clan: he would look from the atmospheres of the different planets they'd stop on, watching and learning from the eldest. Time passed and soon he was of the older ones, travelling down, not watching from above anymore and he had fun, a lot of it considering he and Titania were quite the devils, up until time passed again and it became dull. Like a routine that couldn't totally reinvent itself, like a circle that goes round and round. The first time they came to the Milky Way, he asked his parents if he could leave for some moment the clan, search his identity, his place somewhere else. His parents accepted, as long as he came back from time to time or at least communicate considering he bore in his heart the core of their planet. And come back to help his wife on this mission that was theirs. After their usual games on the blue planet they left, but without him this time.

He wandered in this unknown galaxy for days, or even weeks, or was it months? before he found a small moon that that seemed cozy enough for him to settle on. He named it after himself (Soon after naming another one after Titania. Though his first thought was to honor her, he also avoided her to have the pleasure to name that moon herself.) nesting on it for years before he finally came back to himself. Before he knew it, the Moon Kingdom was at its peek and the Earth Kingdom had bloomed from the desert. He never quite knew how many years had passed since his arrival, but his moon was now part of the planet's authority and he could feel a strange power brushing his planetary gifts.

Curious but also unwilling to go on and about with his clan's legacy, Oberon joined the moon and worked to be accepted in its milice, giving himself fervently in this new purpose he had found for himself. He was a simple soldier when they accepted him, but he was leading his own small group of men and women when Metallia came knocking on their doors. They fought valiantly, but as the end came and when Oberon understood it was hopeless, he used his kind's gift and disappeared from the moon, leaving behind darkness and bodies.

He watched from the outskirts of the galaxy, at the frontier between one and another, as the Moon Kingdom fell. He waited and waited, up until it was safe again, before going back to that blue ball, cautiously avoiding the ruins on the moon. He descended down on Earth, hid his wings, hid his ears, then started living among them. Soon enough he sarted living like them and his own clan didn't recognize him when they came back, to Oberon's relief. He didn't want to leave. He wasn't like hose humans, he was better than them, but he was intrigued by them.

And so he aged with the Earth, watching as humans mights came and went, participating where he could throw himself in the melee, staying back when he saw no purpose joining. Then Metallia awoke, so did the Moon people, but this time, Oberon preferred to be a spectator. He traveled as well, going back and forth between Oberon and Earth so he could meditate far from the wars he was fighting far from his home. He often stayed on his planet for months, time such a trifle thing for them, but always came back to this planet he should hate but appreciated somehow. Guilt, also, plagued him, forcing him to help soldiers, shaking him even more when he lost colleagues, foolishly unable to leave or stop.

At the Neo Queen Serenity's coronation, his powers as a senshi awoke - confusing him greatly (but amusing Titania a lot) - and he offered his services and swords to the royal family, both as a senshi if they were to need one more and as a knight (that, however didn't actually please his wife).

Again, when the crown passed from mother to daughter, Oberon pledged allegiance to the current leader, happily staying under the ruling of the moon family. If he started to miss his planet, he never let it show, taking on as much missions as one man could alone, resting when needed.

Other Noteworthy Facts:

• Oberon / Sailor Oberon are 100% good, trying to do what is right, 90% immune to the darkness, unable to betray those he offers his sword to. King Thelion, however - and if his memory of his life were awoken - could possibly be sensitive to chaos, to evil and turn against good, whether it would be by right placed words, by torture or simply if pushed over his limits.
  
• Super Sailor Oberon is stuck at the super level and won't ever evolve unless his memory is awoken.
  
• Even though he bears Oberon's name, he is not connected to Uranus' moon (except for the sole attack in his repertoire that is linked with the element of air). His planetary powers come from a planet of the same name, but also from his first life as Prince Ethelion (a necklace which can be destroyed and probably its powers with it).
  
• Oberon doesn't know why his senshi uniform is black while the others terran senshi's is usually white. The reason comes from Thelion, the ever mourning King.
  
• Oberon doesn't have a civilian alter ego. He has been and is Knight Oberon, though he drops the title when introducing himself to the common crowd.
  
• Considering his realm of influence is mainly defensive it takes him more time, efforts and deceit tactics to go through a mission when alone. His lack of offensive powers also makes him depend on his physical weapons to strike which makes him vulnerable. Being sensitive to others' feelings can unbalance him in a fight, too much pain felt by others can make him pass out. Though he cannot die of old age, he can be killed by weapons and he can die from lethal wounds.

Senshi Fuku: His main color is royal blue, but his uniform is also composed of two darker shades of blue that color the bows and the bottom of the skirt. His back bow is longer than his front bow while the usual part of the uniform that should be white is completely black. His uniform usually comes with long blue boots with high heels Oberon never wears in a fight. He will usually switch them for nothing or for roman sandals. His belt is in both parts black and blue. He has black gloves with a blue rim. The only thing that actually doesn't match his whole uniform is the purple round brooch attached to his front bow and the dark purple star that stands at the center of his black tiara. The tiara is made from one circle beaded with small spheres every inch. It rests easily on his head.
Powers: "Thelion Blessing!": A translucent royal blue forcefield appears around one person chosen by Oberon. Forcefield that disappears if he is knocked out, but stays from one hour to three if he is killed. Weapons or Magical Items: Oberon's Grail: Not the Holy Grail. This cup is one who can appease someone's appetite and thirst if Oberon's intentions are pure towards this person or the quest they are on. Otherwise, it's just really bad water. It's a metallic blue chalice with a head big enough so two small hands can hold it without trouble. Its handle is made of white gold.
Thelion's necklace: The necklace is composed of a silver chain and a silver pointed pendant that has a pale blue gem in the middle. It is also Oberon's transformation items. He usually rests his hand above it - and his heart - then says the needed phrase.
Oberon's swords: Those swords are an echo of Thelion's sword as if it has been broken in two to match Oberon's fighting style. One has a blue handle and the other one has a grey handle.
Oberon's spear: Though his people don't always see the use of weaponry (and yet they all are trained to fight with weapons), there are some weapons that are said to be royals, precious or reserved for rituals. Oberon's spear is one of those. It's made of the most solid wood found in the planet with a metal part inside of it so it cannot break easily and if fire damages it, there's still a way to use it. One end of it ends with a jewel and the other has a very sharp blade, slightly curved.

I read through half of this profile knowing that Oberon sounded familiar but I could NOT place where I had heard it from and finally when I read your 'Unique Abilites' section it clicked and I think this profile is an awesome idea xD

Personality: What are Oberon's dreams, goals, or ambitions? Is he immortal? Does he have any weaknesses?

History: In the second incarnation, is there a planet or galaxy that Oberon and his people were originally from? How did he awaken as a senshi?

By weaknesses do you mean physical ones? Because psychological ones I tried to underline his emotions are a mess to control, but if you want it clearer I can totally do that.

I would like just a sentence or two saying he awakened at (I'm guessing Lady Serenity's) coronation and from then on served to protect Earth or whatever it is that he did afterwards.

I was thinking weaknesses more physical, because it's important to highlight those so that the character isn't too powerful.

It was already there but I highlighted it (his powers appeared at Usagi's coronation actually, he served under both queens, but I can expand the two last paragraphs? I know my writing is a bit weird).

So I added more flaws in his personality based on how I roleplayed him in Leviathan Core (and the physical flaws were moved to his physical description). I added a better flaws section for his wings. I deleted the illusion power from Oberon's list. I added the Leviathan Core's SSI under the SSI section.
