Why not allow for both? you could do this two ways they all submit to one person or digital submits to Brit and the traditional submits to say me. It's an idea. I'd really like the idea!

Beginning to work on my crosswords. There will be two of them, one ranked as easy (for those just wanting to have fun ^^), and one ranked as hard (for those who want a decent challenge).

when will the event start/how long will it last?

I'll have to look up the exact dat but it'll last three weeks ^^

alright, that helps! I'm trying to decide how many rounds I should do for the riddle game.

You can do as many as you'd like! It doesn't have to start the first week.either if you don't want. The calendar will be the last two weeks but the added first week is mostly so longer contests that take more time can have it xD

I really feel like we should have some sort of thread that promotes the Holiday spirit. I know we discussed a thread for discussing traditions and such, but I didn't know if that would be the same thing. If so, that's fine, I was just wondering, haha xD.

But like it would be a thread where people could just write about what they're thankful for, maybe new year's resolutions, goals that were accomplished during 2014, the things they really appreciate about the world, things like that! Sorry if that was cheesy, I just....love Christmas XD. My boyfriend's family asked me to make plans for them because they don't really have any holiday spirit, and so I've been spending all week planning things xD. So yeah, YAY HOLIDAYS!

Can I do multiple holiday themed word searches? This time I can actually do them. I feel so bad about not getting to make one for Halloween.

Also what about a snowman contest or something?

we could do both.. but i was thinking that maybe we could do separate poll options for each medium (depending on the amount of entries we get)

Brit, why don't you make the contest something that gets to go on the advent calendar? Like you can just do a judge's pick and then whatever that person created gets to be an advent calendar prize. It's a double whammy because it takes some of the pressure off of us to make so much content while also making the winner feel really special because everyone gets to see their creation.

Maybe it could be the very last day of the calendar to give time for the contest?

thanks guys  it was hard to find something that could work for a senshi (well civilian senshi) dress up that is wintery, the other ones are cute bit almost impossible if someone wanted to do usagi

I'll also be putting a little icon once you let me know that your game preparation is complete and you're ready for launch day! If you see your name listed for an event that you don't want to host, be sure to let me know! I'm really excited for this guys!

@MMR - You mentioned a thread for people to say what they're thankful for and such! I was thinking, what if we launch that near Thanksgiving/end of Novemeber instead of Festibration? We have a lot of things planned already and the thankful for thing reminded me of Thanksgiving ^^

Along with the riddle game, can I do a holiday word search? ^^

Thats not a bad idea. I'll think on it. I do like the suggestion of having two categories to be voted on instead of lumping in everything togeher. So i'll have both Traditional Art and Digital Art, make a greeting card (i'll make it like postcard sized) and each will have their poll. Then maybe for like the judge's pick, can be between me, Diana, and Mercury (cause admin yay).
