Pluto's original stuff:

In a world where fairytales are real, a group of princesses must fight to decide their own fate without waiting for a prince.

The realm of Lune is divided by two opposing kingdoms. The north is ruled by Queen Nehelenia, the Queen of Mirrors, who is said to be spectacularly beautiful and rules with an iron fist, though her subjects adore her in a completely devoted manner.

The south is ruled by Queen Serenity, the Queen of Silver, who is said to be the only rival to the northern Queen’s beauty. The Queen of Silver is known for her just way of ruling and her compassion.

Nehelenia has long been a dark presence in the lands, as the ruler of the north and the Dark Lands, and although she has never attacked the southern Light Lands borders, she is always a constant threat that must be watched.

The source of Nehelenia’s hatred toward Serenity and the people of the Light Lands is her jealousy of the other queen’s rivaling beauty and power. And when Serenity was finally blessed with a daughter, Nehelenia’s envy reached its peak. The princess had become a source of joy and devotion for the Light Lands and the happiness and light had become too much for Nehelenia to bear.

The princess grew up to be a beautiful young woman, even more beautiful and full of light than her mother. Nehelenia watched her turn into a young lady with jealousy that kept mounting with each day. She could not stand how loved the princess was by her people, or how she was known as the most beautiful woman in all the lands, officially taking the honor away from her. The greatest insult came when Nehelenia did not receive an invitation to the princess’ seventeenth birthday, a great celebration that was shared with the people of all the lands.

When Nehelenia came anyway and cursed the princess with death before she could ever ascend to her throne, Serenity finally decided to take action. The Queen of Silver called for the other princesses in the Light Lands to come forth and help protect her daughter, as well as eliminate Nehelenia once and for all.

Details on any necessary information:

The Queen of Silver enlists the help of princesses because they are the ones who have powers imbued within theirselves. Princesses are born with inherent powers that they need to learn to tap into. The main kingdom in the Light Lands is Serenity’s, but there are other smaller kingdoms with their own territories (such as a kingdom under the sea and another in the sky) that has their own princesses.

The princesses will be played by the senshi of Sailor Moon (ie: Usagi, Minako, etc), but will not be senshi as such. They will still retain certain powers that will aid them in fights (and you should keep the powers to be similar to what they have in Sailor Moon, ie: Rei should have fire-affinity powers and maybe spiritual powers as well) but they are still princesses and will not transform or anything.

It’s up to the player to pick which fairytale princess they want the character to represent. It’s encouraged that you pick princesses that actually shares a background story or trait or element with your senshi. For example, Ami could be Elsa because they both wield ice, and Michiru could be Ariel because they are both princesses of the sea. The characters retain their real names and appearances, but for their history/powers/etc the player would pick inspiration from whichever fairytale they’ve chosen.

No otaku senshi/princesses (except maybe otaku villains), although the senshi would be an otaku-like version of theirselves.

I like this idea! I would be on board for it! Who would be the Mirror Queen?

I was originally thinking of it to be Nehelenia because of the connection to mirrors (I choose the Mirror Queen because of the Snow White's Evil Queen, and then Nehelenia seemed to fit that really well)

But honestly, I'm open to any suggestions xD

Another idea I was playing with was to take the whole Inners vs Outers idea, and put the Inners as aligned with the Silver Queen and the Outers aligned with the Mirror Queen.

(I still have no idea who I'd want to be)

I really love this idea. I'd love to be part of it, but I'm not sure who I'd want to play. I'm immediately drawn to Neptune, with a strong influence from the Little Mermaid, but there are other characters that'd be fun too.

Yay! <3 Oh also, there are tons of fairytales out there to draw inspiration from!!! The fairytale doesn't necessarily have to have a princess in it for you to use it as inspiration.

Like maybe The Nightingale could be inspiration for Hotaru just because that one featured a robotic/mechanical nightingale in it and this Hotaru is still a cyborg maybe? Or it could be possible for Haruka too because of nightingales being birds and can fly/etc xD

Hmm, well I like the title of Queen of Mirrors to be Nehelenia. Unless you mean to have Nehelenia represent the "good" queen and Queen Serenity be the "bad" queen? Because that might be interesting xD

Hmmmmmm. I think this would be okay :3 I mean, sure fairytales is what was originally in mind, but I think mythology could mix pretty well in here too. Especially since, all in all, the fairytale/mythology part is just background kind of things, influences and inspiration to base the princesses off of.

I still dunno who to be, which feels strange because it's my RP... hehe

Did anyone like the idea of it being a kind of Outers vs Inners thing? Because I'm still not 100% sure about it myself. But it would help with giving us villains. Or it could be that people can just decide which side they want to be on, so we don't have it already predetermined.

I am thinking of being possibly Rei and the fairytale being Princess and the Pea, because I have this image of Rei being forced into stupid tests of how to be a "real" princess, and she then proceeds to set everything aflame. And she would be angry with men for forcing her to "prove" herself in the first place.

But really, I just kind of really like matching the girls with fairytales. (It's a lot of fun and I love this kind of thing lol)

Oh this sounds like fun. i wonder if maybe Luna could work in as maybe like Alice or something? I know she's not really a princess, but still I love playing her.

It could be good! The fairytale choices are just for inspiration and background things, so, regardless if the fairytale character is a princess or not, Luna (or any other SM character someone picks to play) would be called "Princess" since that's kind of the Senshi-ish equivalent in this RP. Although, now that I've written that, Luna isn't really a senshi is she? xD (Well she is in PGSM!) I think it still would be fine though, if you wanted to have Luna be a Princess in this RP. She could be other things too if you wanted, of course. I'm mostly just rambling now ^^;;; haha

And Yami, that's definitely an interesting idea xDD I kinda like it, Queen Serenity could make a convincing evil queen I would imagine :3

I was thinking it would be fun. I dunno really, there would need to be more talk but yeah I'm totally loving this idea.

Yeah, I'm still on the fence as to whether to use it or not. I like the inners vs outers too, but I feel like I have *too* many things I want to do with this RP that it's starting to get muddled and confusing o.o

Yup, I got this idea when I thought about her Talisman - I thought about taking references from a manga series which is based on a Japanese legend ^.^ (does The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter or Princess Kaguya ring any bells ?)

Ooh wow Tsuki xD I hadn't even thought of that yet hahah But yeah, I didn't plan on the planet influences taking any part in this, and instead using the fairytales for that. Using those titles could work too! Thank you for coming up with such a complete list xD We could possibly use both too. Like maybe their official titles are those based off of the powers they have been blessed with, but their tales have spread across the lands too, so people call them by their fairytale nicknames.

To clarify xD I'm using Minako and Sleeping Beauty. So her official real title would be the Princess of Love and Beauty, but people know of her past and have come to call her "Sleeping Beauty" as well.

I always thought that the princesses would be pretty well-known throughout the lands or something because of these strange tales of their pasts xD


Also! If people could post officially what character/fairytale or legend they are using (if you haven't already said), that would be awesome :3 I will start to finally compile a list xD

I would like to play Pluto and have her match up with Princess Persephone from Greek Mythology.

I apologize to everyone for not moving this RP forward, I haven't be on as much recently. I have a big test tomorrow and wednesday, but after that, I will work extra hard to get it going again because I really am excited about this RP idea I love fairytales xD
