Usagi draws to me Ariel from the Little Mermaid. Since they both care for friends, family, and other people and also because they both got themselves into danger due to a forbidden love xD

Ariel is my favorite princess, and I only jumped on her originally and connected her to Neptune because of the water connection, I'm not sure who else I'd be...

Yes! Everyone is free to interpret background stories for their characters however they wish. I think it's also fun if you want to change the character's personality to fit the changes in their background as well. I don't think we should go *too* crazy with changes to personality, but you know, different upbringings and situations definitely change a person, so I think it only makes sense if a character acts differently than the ones we know in the Sailor Moon Canon.

Ooo i forgot about Kida. Shes ancient and loses her family to become queen of a city believed to be legend. Maybe i could pair her with Pluto instead of Persephone? XD that way she would fit better into the fairy tale category xD

Kay. Finishing up the good captain today, but for concept: Endymion(? I'm stuck with knightly characters not being prominent in SM) /Ivanhoe? Or Paul de Raque? Anomen? Keldorn Firecam?. In fairy tales there is usually a knight running around, getting things done. Slaying the princess/saving the dragons, etc.

THOUGH HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE TO HAVE A PRINCE (from the Mirror side) hunting the Princesses as they're trying to save the Kingdom? We don't even need to include the usagixmamoru romance part of it since this isn't their story, just a story with them in it

I'm not sure I'd go for a dark prince/black knight myself. Though it'd be interesting in a form of an NPC.

I guess that's pretty much up to the creator of the Princess xD But also, I don't want to have romance be the main part of the RP. I want it to be lots of beautiful princesses being the BAMFy heroes in a fairytale setting xD Swapping roles and whatnot.

It's up to you, I'm pretty flexible really with the fairytale aspect. Those are generally for inspiration and to tie this RP into the general fairytale setting. You could have any character from Sailor Moon that you want paired with whichever fairytale you want, it's your choice ^^

Also, once everyone has made their final decision, please let me know so that I can get the character list updated! You can also check there (on the first post) to see which characters and fairytales have been already claimed!

Do you want me to generate a world or area map? I can use dwarf fortress for that.

I just wanted to comment that this is supposed to be a fairy tale RPG, and Anomen Delryn is not exactly a fairytale (or legend). If you can come up with a reason for using him that would fit in the theme, please say because I don't want to be too strict or anything. But wanted to point that out anyway, since that is supposed to be the theme for this RPG hehe ^^;;

Anomen has a personality that's like a mixture of anime and manga Mamoru for me. He is initially vain, arrogant and overconfident, but it is to conceal his self-doubts, as he is an idealist beneath that exterior.

It's also an interesting parallel that while Mamoru's seeking the silver crystal (and his memories) and prowling the night as Tuxedo Mask, Anomen is seeking knighthood as a squire of the Order of the Radiant Heart. Both are eager to join the heroes in their noble quests, and both are very loyal companions (unless the players screw up Anomen's quest for knighthood, because then things go bad), who sometimes are conflicted over their perceived/real duty (Silver Crystal for Tux, obeying the law for Anomen) and their feelings (Loving Usagi, and avenging his sister in case of Anomen)

Interestingly, Anomen can only use blunt weapons, (he is a warrior priest of Helm after all), wears heavy armor, and using his clerical spells he can be a very powerful supportive character, who also wades into the thick of it if the situation demands it.

You can even pretend he's Endymion if you play as a female CHARNAME, by choosing "cause harm/wound" spells for his cane/throw/bomber and "cure wound", "Bless" etc... spells for his supportive abilities . Equip him with a quarterstaff (it even has weak damage ) as his cane, and a sling as his rose. Paint his clothing black with a white outline for kicks. Sadly, you can't give him a cape.

D'awww, he's a cutie. Maybe you could give him the nickname of "Prince Charming," so he fits into the fairytale theme a little better. Not his real name, just a nickname he picked up from somewhere.

I agree with Venus xD He is definitely a cutie :3 If you would agree to her idea of giving him the nickname of Prince Charming (or maybe it's a name he's known by?), I think it would be great xD Then we can keep the theme going a little hehe

One thing I'm wondering about: Knight orders. Can I import the Order of the Radiant Heart from Baldur's Gate, as a knight order of guardians? If there is a war, I think those of fighting age would go to the front lines. (Which is why I think that rather than chilling out in their castles, the princes would be out leading the people.)

Now for an NPC idea: Chadwick the Firecaller: Music admiring, somewhat clumsy mage who generally keeps living in his tower, and when he isn't, he's embarked on another crazy adventure to impress Rei. He generally annoys people when he attempts to sing (which has resulted in quite a few amicable meetings turned into brawls), but he is good hearted, and willing to throw himself in harm's way to protect others. His nickname comes from favoring fireballs as a solution to problems, but other than that, his magic is generally considered "harmless". (Grease, blur, obscuring mist, stinking cloud, color spray, web)

I think I am either going to have to postpone this RP, or drop out and let someone else run it. I've taken so long to get it going that I feel incredibly guilty and I just have lost a bit of the spark that made me want to do this RP in the first place.

If there is anyone who wants to take over the running of this RP, you can let me know. Otherwise, this RP will be postponed until further notice.
