Hey guys, since there are still interest in this, I asked Pluto if she minds me trying to revive and revamp it. She gave me permission, so I tried tweaking the backstory so it's more like Sailor Moon/Silver Millennium and we can try and get this show on the road!

Here is the reworked backstory:

The realm of Lune is divided by two opposing kingdoms. The north is ruled by Queen Nehelenia, the Queen of Mirrors, who is said to be spectacularly beautiful and rules with an iron fist, though her subjects adore her in a completely devoted manner.

The south is ruled by Queen Serenity, the Queen of Silver, who is said to be the only rival to the northern Queen’s beauty. The Queen of Silver is known for her just way of ruling and her compassion.

Nehelenia has long been a dark presence in the lands, as the ruler of the north and the Dark Lands, and although she has never attacked the southern Light Lands borders, she is always a constant threat that must be watched.

The source of Nehelenia’s hatred toward Serenity and the people of the Light Lands is her jealousy of the other queen’s rivaling beauty and power. And when Serenity was finally blessed with a daughter, Nehelenia’s envy reached its peak. The princess had become a source of joy and devotion for the Light Lands and the happiness and light had become too much for Nehelenia to bear.

The princess grew up to be a beautiful young woman, even more beautiful and full of light than her mother. Nehelenia watched her turn into a young lady with jealousy that kept mounting with each day. She could not stand how loved the princess was by her people, or how she was known as the most beautiful woman in all the lands, officially taking the honor away from her. The greatest insult came when Nehelenia did not receive an invitation to the princess’ seventeenth birthday, a great celebration that was shared with the people of all the lands.

When Nehelenia came anyway and cursed the princess with death before she could ever ascend to her throne, Serenity finally decided to take action. The Queen of Silver called for the other princesses in the Light Lands to come forth and help protect her daughter, as well as eliminate Nehelenia once and for all.

Details on any necessary information:

The Queen of Silver enlists the help of princesses because they are the ones who have powers imbued within theirselves. Princesses are born with inherent powers that they need to learn to tap into. The main kingdom in the Light Lands is Serenity’s, but there are other smaller kingdoms with their own territories (such as a kingdom under the sea and another in the sky) that has their own princesses.

The princesses will be played by the senshi of Sailor Moon (ie: Usagi, Minako, etc), but will not be senshi as such. They will still retain certain powers that will aid them in fights (and you should keep the powers to be similar to what they have in Sailor Moon, ie: Rei should have fire-affinity powers and maybe spiritual powers as well) but they are still princesses and will not transform or anything.

It’s up to the player to pick which fairytale princess they want the character to represent. It’s encouraged that you pick princesses that actually shares a background story or trait or element with your senshi. For example, Ami could be Elsa because they both wield ice, and Michiru could be Ariel because they are both princesses of the sea. The characters retain their real names and appearances, but for their history/powers/etc the player would pick inspiration from whichever fairytale they’ve chosen.

No otaku senshi/princesses (except maybe otaku villains), although the senshi would be an otaku-like version of theirselves.

Does this sound good to everyone? Also, would you rather call your characters by their present day names or like... Princess Mars, Princess Venus, etc? I was unsure what people would prefer. But yeah, feel free to chime in! I'd love to get this RP up and running soon ^_^

I think maybe they shouldn't use their Princess names (Like mars or venus) but maybe their present day names. Just because they would all be princesses they wouldn't really be calling each other princess.. or maybe that's just me..

Yeah, I was thinking it could be their titles maybe... but definitely normal names for every day interaction between themselves ^^

I'm kind of torn between Ami as the Snow Queen or Michiru as the Little Mermaid!

Haha yes, the profile making! I'm not sure if this should be Relaxed or Advanced. I'd write more than 100 words either way but if people prefer to do Relaxed profiles, that's fine too ^^

I usually try to give longer posts too so advanced or relaxed doesnt really matter to me. I'm just not sure what to do. It kind of reminds me of Wonderland this whole thing and that would make Usa Alice right?

Well with the new premise, Usagi is kind of Sleeping Beauty (cursed by an evil person on their birthday) although the nature of her death isn't specified. ^^

Ok so I love Alice in wonderland and if this doesn't fit just tell ed to find a better route but I was thinking that maybe i could play Minako as Alice in a way with Artemis as my Cheshire cat. I ha originally thought of doing something like that with Ami and Luna but I wasn't sure if that would work since you had said something about ami being akin to the ice queen. 

Its just an idea, feel free to tell me to go back to the drawing board.

That's totally fine ^^ I thought it would be better if the fairy tale characters have some semblance of link to the Sailor Moon ones, but Ami does have that curious trait that Alice does too. If you still want to go with Ami and Luna, you can go for it. Minako and Artemis is cool too!

I'll keep thinking on this and see if I can't come up with something else. I don't want to claim Ami since you said you might take her and well I can play Minako or someone else..  I have a really busy class work coming up and a trip so I wont bee around much in the later part of this month, besides I think we have time right?

I might play Hotaru..... if I can figure out what fairytale she'll be ^^

Ed: Well if you take Ami I'll just take Michiru. It honestly makes my decision making easier lol. But yeah, feel free to think on it, we're not in a rush

Im really leaning towards Ami and Luna. They are the ones that stick out for me. but at the same time I really I don't want to try and force my fave story on a character. I really have to focus on this school work cause i want to get it done before i leave to go see my Mommy. (yeah i still do that)

And come one luna would be an awesome cheshire cat! but again i feel like I'm forcing my fave story on this and i don't want to do that..

I don't think you're necessarily forcing it. As you've said, they have quite a few similar personality traits. Alice loves reading as well, and you're right, she has to solve quite a lot of problems along the way which means she's also pretty intelligent. I think at any rate, Ami fits her more than Minako does.

SO! I think I'm going to pick Chibiusa being Belle! They both love a boy disguised as an animal! Belle is considered to be caring, headstrong, courageous, and independent which I think Chibiusa is as well! Let me know what you guys think =D

OK!! I think I'll have Hotaru be Snow White. My reasoning behind this is that in certain versions of the story, such as the Grimm Brothers tale, Snow White actually dies a couple of time and comes back to life. That's kind of like how Hotaru dies and was reborn. Also, Snow White was raised by people who weren't related to her by blood, just like how baby Hotaru was raised by the Outers. Does this sound good to anyone?

i think i will take Ami and Luna as Alice and Cheshire. Bonus I can add to the bios i already have for them.
