So, before working on the SSI for this for my Mamoru profile (o_o or i could just make a relaxed for it XD) what's going ot be the shitennou motif? sports? pretty boys? rock band? punks? geek/nerds? PUNK ROCK BAND WITH EMO LYRICS?

Which is odd, because I'm kind of against the default senshixshitennou pairings (though I do like some in PGSM hehe) But but, I have been itching to have another rp in which I play Nephrite because I love him and his ridiculousness and I think he'd be a lot of fun in this RP. o.o! And this idea sounds so much fun xD

K, cool! ^^ So when do we start and and what's the setting? 

Pluto and Yami! XD What do we want the Shitennou to be like? Pretty, of course, and they'll all have their own unique personalities (cool, suave, class clown, aloof, intellectual, goofball, etc.), but what pulls/pulled them together as friends?

We will start once a submit the storyline and make my Serenity bio! I'll be working on that tonight.  The setting is modern time (our time) in a high school called Silver Academy. See what I did there?

They can be besties from Kindergarten!! J/k 

I'm not quite sure to be honest. They're friendship with Enydmion? Maybe when they were little he got bullied and the shitennou came in and saved the day?

Hmmm...I could actually see it the other way around. I think that Endymion would be the one who pulls them all together (as you said), but I think there would be a different reason behind that for each shittenou. Like, I could see Endymion and Kunzite as best friends since boyhood, and then perhaps Endymion stood up for either Zoisite or Jadeite when they were being bullied. Nephrite could be someone who used to be Endymion's rival, but some sort of situation (perhaps during an athletic activity?) caused them to become friends.

Just more ideas xD. I just think it would add to Endymion/the shittenou's personalities if they all had a different connection to each other, instead of it all being the same. Sorry if I'm not making any sense xD.

THOUGHT: Do we want each group to know (of) each other before the story begins? Like they've been going to the same schools for a long time and know of each other, but this is the first Mamoru and Usagi have taken notice of the other?

Do we want them meeting for the first time this school year? Idea! This could be the first year at this brand new huge high school, The Silver Academy! The city this takes place in could have decided to close down two older high schools and meld the student bodies into this one new huge state-of-the-art facility, so everyone's starting out on the same page in a new place, but have their popularity intact from the student body at their own school.

So there are still a great number of students that look to the "senshi" as their most-popular-crew, having grown with them from middle school and their old high school, looking on with sighs and adoration, and they have other popular cliques ("hot guys" from their old school) that they recognize, but the other half of the student body, including the "shitennou", are brand new to them (RIVALS FOR POPULARITY WHAT THEY'RE AS HOT AS US)

And there are a great number of students that similarly look to the "shitennou" as most popular, yadda yadda, vice versa from above. .... >D the other popular girl group could have been Beryl's.


That way we wouldn't have to throw them all into the exact same social groups and situations - members of each could be jocks, cheerleaders, intellectual types, part of a band, etc., while still having a tight string pulling individual groups together and a reason why the separate groups hadn't met each other yet.

AND ANOTHER QUESTION: Would this be happening in Japanese High Schools as we know them, or are we going to twist it a bit so it's run like an American high school (^^' I know more about those, lol) and in America (Football! Malls! FOOD COURTS) but everyone has Japanese names?

No it makes prefect sense! It fits them all really! I say Endymion saved Zoisite from bulling and maybe with Jadeite he was a loner and no one befriend him because he looked like a bully? Then Endymion saw to it to befriend him. Does that make sense?

Mamoru totally earned it and was serious about taking on projects, Usagi was adorable so who could say no? She relies heavily upon her girls behind her for support and ideas XD   OR NOT it just popped in my head XD

AND ANOTHER QUESTION ABOUT SETTING:
Questions so far: Japanese high school or American high school setting? This would determine a lot of school-related things, like having different people in each class period vs the same group in the same room throughout the day, having electives worked into their daily schedule, going off campus for lunch, ending at 3ish, no school on weekends, prom, dances, etc., as well as after-school activities (top sport identification, hanging out at a mall, riding in cars more often than walking, etc).    I'd personally want to go with an American school setting as I'm more familiar with it (and keep the Japanese names for simplicity and not have it be weird or anything), but I'll go with majority vote!

NEW QUESTION: Are they in the early 90's, or modern day? Cellphones, internet, computers, etc.?

Another random idea: What if Mamoru's old school was all boys, and Silver Academy was all girls?

I was thinking the American school system. Just because I'm more familiar with it and I want them to mix classes with each other. Ami and Zoisite duking it out to show  who is the best in math class!!!! 

The time setting will be 2014 so they will have laptops, smartphones, gaming, ect. Just easier in my opinion. As for the school names we can change it to whatever! I don't mind. I like the idea of them being involved with student council. 

So they're going to be freshmen yes? I was thinking for this RP everyone will be the same age.

I was thinking since they're all entering the school at the same time, it wouldn't matter what class/year they were in; I had Mamoru pegged for starting the year as a Junior, so he'd be around 16-17 and was already established as a leader in his old high school and wouldn't have to deal with small-fish-in-big-pond beginning-of-year freshman feelings.

so I've had some ideas about Beryl. since the technology is updated and all I like to think she has a blog online where she brutally trash talks everyone, but anonymously of course. and she's a gossip hound who likes to spread rumors and watch people's relationships crumble into dust.

I love that Beryl idea!! XD When I was running with the student council idea I was trying to fit her in as someone who ran for council to be closer to Endymion -- Beryl: Mamoru and Beryl have met on several occasions – at Rosethorn, she became very active in student government and had run to be vice president. She was fiery and always seemed to back him up, defending his less-than-popular opinions to the student body (working on weekends?!) adamantly. While they have worked together, Mamoru began to see Beryl as a friend rather than an acquaintance, but he feels nothing towards her, romantically. -- but I love your idea so much more!! >D Sassy and undermining! Queen of the rumor mill, dark online persona XD  Her login name could contain 'metal' of some sort, bwahahaahahahaaa  

@Hikari XD Idk anymore, lol. SO MANY IDEAS! If I string everything I suggested together, the Senshi would be from rich parents and have known each other since childhood, attending all the same schools and such, until their beloved high school closed its doors, moving them to attend the new school with the Rosethorn kids.  XD But idk how much of that is going through and whatever. ^^

yeahhhh her username having metal in it somewhere would be a good wink to canon. I really like that student council idea tho, that sounds fun. And I think she and Endy are on speaking terms and are friends but not super close, they have a lot of the same classes together and they talk and maybe help each other out with classwork? and of course Beryl tries to get super close to him and will sit as close as possible to him in every class. xDD

I think Endymion will stay canon in that his favorite subject is Physics and he's good at it, and that he's good with computers, so he'd probably be good at math, too... hmmm...  I'm thinking he's strong academically, but is far and away better in his Physics, Math, English (poetry LMAO FLOWERY SPEECHES), and elective Computer Science course than any other class. He's terrible with history. Just. terrible. Memorization isn't his thing.

OH MY GOD. I'M THINKING I'LL PUT ENDYMION INTO A THEATER CLASS. Idk if ti'll be intentional or not, but HA HA WE COULD WORK THE ROMEO AND JULIET PLAY RIGHT INTO THE STORY.

And....... I think Beryl would be really good at subjects like government, speech, theater, ~history~ (so she could totally use this as an opportunity to help "tutor" Endy and get him alone with her, mwahahaa xDD
