Pre-made thread for tonight/tomorrow morning's Sailor Moon Crystal Episode.

I'm currently watching Ep. 6 rn. 
They changed Queen Serenity's hair to white. That's the only major change so far. I'mma get through 4 ads after the opening and I'm gonna update ya'll. ^_^

Edit: So Tuxedo Mask revealed to the public that he's committing crimes to find the Silver Crystal and it quickly becomes the talk of the town. He says that he did it to find info quickly. Clever little Chiba.
Edit: The news reporters invited a so-called "researcher" of the Silver Crystal. Blegh, I bet it's prollie a General or somthin.

Ok, I like that they changed Serenity's hair to silver in the opening.  This bodes well for her official appearance later.  Was really bummed to see her as a blonde before.

WTF? That running animation....

Evil energy is fading!  Will Sailor Moon get to save the generals in this version of the story?  Hope hope hope!

QUEEN SERENITY HAS SILVER HAIR THANK YOU TOEI. Plus her dress looks a whole lot better and they updated other stuff so I think they are slowing adding in better animation which I'm down for.

I really liked the senshi attacks and find it interesting that Zoisite didn't have a little "moment" with Ami. I guess they didn't have time.

As far as the episode itself...I don't know how I feel tbh? Like I felt like Mamoru is kinda stoic like people have been upset about. Also what was up with that (almost?) kiss? I know that it's supposed to be cute and romantic but it just kinda makes Mamoru unfortunately look like a creep. 

This episode made me so happy that they are following the manga so closely   I mean, Usagi waking up at Mamoru's place is priceless <3 and at this moment I'm not even paying atention to the animation, I'm just loving the story. 

Also, I love that the other senshi can fight w/o Usagi xD they are all powerful on their own and that's awesome

Yes to all of this. I was like Mamoru be looking good. He works out.

Beryl actually does somethng besides sit on her butt.

Luna knew it was zoisite.

Zoisite might be dead.

omg. i was hapy with the whole episode, there were a few small animation errors, but they are really working on getting better quality eps out pre BR. 

But Mamoru though....can i just have him.

And this had to be my favorite episode so far.

I doubt Zoicite is dead.  He passed out from the effects of having the evil in him at least partially healed, but chances are he's not dead yet.  Beryl will either turn him evil again, or destroy him when he decides to turn against her.

ANOTHER PERFECT EPISODE~

This actually doesn't bother me because i love doing the "cut face" on my graphics, but i find it odd they did it a lot on this episode, on the best parts >_> on the other hand, it will make things so much easy for my graphics hohohohoho ^.^v

I had mixed feelings about the animation in this episode.  It looked really good in the first half and they seemed to be improving, especially with the animation at the game center.  On the other hand, in the second half, they seemed to be doing a lot of that annoying trick where they close up on a person's face to avoid having to animate their whole body and sometimes it just looked awkward.  But hopefully this will all be fixed on the Blu Ray release.  I loved that the Senshi battled against Beryl and Zoisite on their own too and I liked how Crystal is emphasizing the Senshi's individual strength as opposed to the original anime where it seemed like they emphasized Usagi being the strongest.   I love how Usagi and Mamoru's relationship is playing out like in the manga and I'm glad Usagi is starting to have the dream about the past now too.  And OMG, I love that we got to see Sailor V and Artemis at the end!  I totally wasn't expecting that.  I also love the scene where Sailor V speaks to Usagi through the game.

OMG I loved this episode! I love the changes they made to Queen Serenity! I'm super happy about the Usamamo scenes and I'm now even more excited for the next episode!! Sailor V appeared! Also it was nice to actually see a full, well done animation of Queen Beryl. For almost all of the other episodes they just show us like her eyes or part of her face so I'm really happy about the full shots of her.

That's why they kept doing that? I thought they were attempting to be dramatic. 

SOOOOO HAPPY WITH THIS EPISODE!!!

That fight scene with the girls and Zoicyte was AMAZING!!!  And I had so many UsaMamo feels!

My only complaint is that Mamoru needs to kiss people who are awake.... *grumbles*

i wasnt sure he actually kissed her, but i guess he did. he should wait for her to be awake.

I'm kind of really disappointed that we didn't get any Mercury/Zoisite moments in this episode.

- Really Mamo, more of the creepy perv smiling and creepy kiss the girl when she's unconscious thing again?

- Luna are you even trying there?

Overall, I enjoyed this episode. I'm glad that the animation is getting cleaner and I had no complaints about that this time!

Is it just me or does it seem like there was some new music in this episode?  I really loved the beautiful music they played at the beginning of the episode.

The thing I am wondering the most is how did the Media get Tux doing an awesome pose. Did  he like take a selfie, and post it on tumblr? Or did the media be like, "OY! CAPE BOY! Please pose for us!"

That UsaxMamo moment was Kawaii. She's like I CAN STAND ON MY OWN THANK YOU! and then realizes shes a bit too close to him. Makoto is just like, 'I ship it! :3 '

The music was just WOW!!!!. Especially during Tuxedo Mask's and Usagi's talk.

That battle. I love how Mercury was the one who slammed Zoicite hard and actually tried TWICE (She's persistent) while the others only tried blasting Zoicite once.

Usagi: This feeling... *is about to transform*
Luna: USAGI-CHAN WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!??!?!?!?

I find it funny how V is looking down and Artemis is looking up. 

Was Mamoru watching Usagi talk to herself for 25 seconds because it seemed like he was watching her for a while since we didn't hear a door open and he was standing so casually. Like Nahh not going to change. She's way more interesting xD.

I'm curious on what 0:12 - 0:13 is about since that scene didn't happen in the manga.

So yah! Awesome episode!

i want the BGM from this ep i agree its super pretty.

WHAT'S WILL ALL THE WEIRD CLOSE UP ON PEOPLE LIPS!? 

I want to see the their faces!!!!!!! 

Also am the only fan who didn't care that Q. Serenity's hair was blond before? I think the silver hair makes her look old.  

The best thing about this episode is cross dressing Zoisite. I love that him and Nephrite cross dress. XD 

Everything else was meh to me. The fight scenes were kind of cool. I just lost it when Beryl was carrying Zoisite back to their hideout. The animation is so bad there!! 

Also Usagi wasn't knocked out when Tux kissed her. When he was carrying her back to his apartment, she was commenting on the warmth she felt from him.  She's just so tired she can barely open her eyes. At least that what I thought. 

I'm excited to see episode 7 at least the beginning. Them talking in their apartment is my favorite scene in the manga.

Hm... I think this may have been the worst episode yet. The constant panning animation was so distracting and the writing and dialogue was just not very interesting?  I was falling asleep. :/  

There are parts I did like, like showing the secret base.

Also when Moon goes above everyone to heal them it looks like she's peeing on them xD

Also I Don't really like how Mamoru was drawn at the end, his face looked really long...  Everything about this episode felt awkward.  *sigh* Disappointing especially after the last episode which I felt had been a great improvement.

I also noticed this plot hole? Like Mamoru told her she had the power to do anything. Then Usagi like I cant transform infront of him. Like what the? Usagi the guy told you that you have great power. How is that not a clue that he knows who you are!?

Oh yeah! I forgot that! She goes to say "I feel you I'm the leader and I can't do anything" but then is surprised that he knows shes Moon ...? That was weird. :/

I wonder if it's an error in the subs?

That scene was a bit weird.  In the manga Mamoru just tells Usagi that he doesn't have any powers like her to protect her with and that's when Usagi realizes he knows she's Sailor Moon in the manga.  I don't know why Toei didn't just go with that in Crystal as that would have made more sense to me.

And when he knocks over Usagi he offers to help her up, smiles at her and tells her to be careful. Perhaps he was only a jerk in this situation in the 90s anime because he really didn't care much about Rei but he is in love with Usagi in this.

I love that scene and the old dub makes it even better! XD

I wonder what are the chances are that maybe since they didn't have any Zoisite x Ami scene in this episode that maybe they'll keep Zoisite x Kunzite in Crystal?  I know it's a stretch that they would and I love the Senshi/Shittenou pairings myself but I also love Zoisite x Kunzite and I would love Crystal if they decided to keep them.
