Advanced Character Profile Character Name: Ami Mizuno
Gender: Female
Age and Date of Birth: 14-25 / September 10th
Used Canons: 90's Anime, Manga, and PGSM
Appearance: Ami is typically identified by her short, blue hair. Her big, knowledgeable eyes match her hair, and her skin is the color of porcelain. One of the shorter members of the Sailor Senshi, Ami stands at a small 5'2". Her hair parts at the left side of her head, and only reaches the middle of her neck. When not wearing her Juuban Municipal school uniform, Ami maintains a practical, modest sense of fashion. She likes to wear crisp blouses and cute vests, along with pencil skirts and sophisticated pants. She tends to suit more for comfort than for style when it comes to shoes, and typically chooses regular tennis shoes over the hottest pair of boots. She also wears small, blue studs on her ears 24/7, even as a senshi. Occasionally, she will wear wire-rimmed glasses to assist her with reading and studying.
Personality: Known for her extreme intelligence and maturity, Ami tends to be very anti-social and introverted. She would rather work alone than with a group, study silently instead of read aloud, etc. She likes large, quiet areas, and tends to stay away from crowds. A lover of books and the beauty of knowledge, she spends most of her free time studying or reading. Adjusting to new people and large crowds is difficult for her, and she has trouble trusting others. A patient girl, Ami is a fantastic friend, and will never let her friends down when they need her. She is very selfless, and is constantly putting the needs of others before herself. Because of this, she has a tendency to forget about her own happiness along the way. She longs to satisfy others, especially her mother. Ami is very good at coming up with strategies and staying calm in stressful situations. Handling pressure is easy for her, and she doesn't get nervous when required to speak in front of a crowd. If it means furthering her education, Ami will do it flawlessly. She dreams of becoming a world-renowned doctor, following the footsteps of her mother. However, Ami would never let her own goals get in the way of her duty as a sailor senshi. She fears large crowds and doesn't really believe in relationships. She tends to stay away from those who may hurt her, men being at the top of that list. Despite Ami's mature, sophisticated aura, she is secretly a typical fangirl. She reads fanfiction, romance novels, listens to the popular Japanese boybands, practically everything Usagi and Minako do. She just isn't very vocal about her secret fetishes. Since meeting Usagi and the other Inners, Ami has come out of her shy, insecure shell and allowed herself to open up more to other people. Her IQ and analysis skills are off the charts, and she uses all of these skills on a daily basis, whether as a student or as a senshi.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Ami is very skilled with computers, and most other forms of technology. She also happens to be very good at chess, and is a very advanced swimmer. Although talented in many ways, Ami is most-known for her IQ of 300 and her indescribable intelligence.
History: During the Silver Millennium of a thousand years past, Ami was Sailor Mercury, the Princess of Mercury and the guardian of the Moon Princess, Serenity. She fell in love with a handsome general from Earth, but that love turned into turmoil, and she was betrayed. Hurt and forced to fight to protect her princess, Ami was killed in the legendary battle between the Moon and the Dark Kingdom. Reincarnated by Queen Serenity, Sailor Mercury adopted the name of Ami Mizuno and was mainly raised by her mother. In her early years, Ami's parents got divorced. She lived with her mother, after her father decided to travel abroad for his art. Throughout her life, Ami spent most of her days alone, struggling under the pressure her esteemed mother placed on her. A talented surgeon, Ami's mother expected nothing less than perfection from her daughter. As she grew older, Ami learned how to handle pressure, and her grades exemplified that. She was always at the top of her classes, and never received less than a 100 on any assignment. She devoted her life to her studies, spending any time she could at home studying or at the library. Her mother's lack of presence in their sophisticated household grew customary, and Ami became adapted to a life of loneliness. Everyone she knew would always look at her in disgust, thinking that she was pompous and arrogant. But in fact, Ami was just desperate for one person she could go to every day when she needed a friend. That person didn't come until junior high, when Usagi Tsukino crashed into her life. Soon after their meeting, Ami was introduced to video games, which she was surprisingly good at. Luna, Usagi's feline guardian, discovered that Ami was a sailor senshi, and gifted her with a transformation pen. At the time, Ami attended the Crystal Seminar, a computer school for the elite and intelligent. The school was run by Dark Kingdom enemies, and Ami was their prime target. With the pen, Ami transformed into Sailor Mercury, and since then has assisted Usagi and the other senshi in defeating countless enemies.
Other Noteworthy Facts: Ami's blood type is A, and she is a Virgo. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite food is sandwiches. She is also fond of her birthstone, a sapphire, and takes a particular liking for water lillies.
Storyline Specific Information:Dream vs. Duty - Chaos is long defeated, and the senshi have all gone on to chase their dreams and pursue their goals. Through hard work and dedication, Ami became the youngest doctor-in-training in Japan at age twenty-two. She has achieved her number one dream, and has enjoyed the ability to save lives. Unfortunately, a new threat makes its way into the senshi's lives once again, and the dream Ami worked to hard for is jeopardized in the blink of an eye. After years of falling into her own routine, Ami has to push her dream aside and focus on protecting her princess. Working with her fellow senshi again will prove to be a difficult task, but if it means saving Earth, Ami would do whatever it takes.
Love and Spite - Ami Mizuno grew up in a life of luxury. Her parents were very high up in society, with her mother running the Research and Development Sector at Lunar Technologies and her father a visionary in Lunar Technologies's marketing department. Raised to succeed, Ami attended the most elite of schools all the way up to high school, where she attended Silver Academy. Since she was a child in the day care center of Lunar Technologies, Ami has been extremely close with Serenity, Rei, Makoto, and Minako. Because the five girls were from such high families, they all attended the same elite schools all the way up to high school, where they ran the Student Council at Silver Academy. Despite her high status, Ami never let money get to her head, and became known throughout Silver Academy as a sweet, innocent musician who was extremely intelligent and caring towards others. She gets nervous very easily, and she isn't fond of boasting or flaunting her talents. She prefers to keep to herself, and stay within her small group of friends. As kids, Ami and her friends developed nicknames for each other, all having to do with Greek Mythology. Ami was given the nickname of Mercury, because of her ability to think faster than the messenger god could fly. As Ami's junior year ended, the beloved Silver Academy proceeded to get older and older as time went by. Desiring nothing but the best for their daughters, the officials at Lunar Technologies footed the bill to build The Verona Institute, and all-new, private school that was state-of-the-art. Although the school was classified as "private," Lunar Technologies allowed the entire student body of Rosethorn School to attend Verona as well, because their school was old and in need of repairs. This unexpected, undesired joining of the two rival schools caused the fateful meeting of Ami and a young man named Zoisite, who shared in Ami's intellect and talents. They met in their advanced math class, and further realized they both were quite talented in music (Ami with the harp). Sharing classes in both orchestra and math, Ami begins to grow strangely closer to the man she is so against. But the ongoing Student Council rivalry between the Serenity and Endymion is making interactions between Silver Academy students and Rosethorn students difficult to achieve.
Ghost Planets - When the universe was in the process of creation, a planet called Theia collided with the Earth, creating Earth's moon in the process. Theia was said to be lost in the cores of the Earth and Moon, and never heard from since. But after the sailor senshi's battle against Chaos, mysterious planets begin to appear around Earth. A mysterious senshi called Sailor Theia reveals herself, asking for the Silver and Golden Crystals so that she can revitalize all of the lost planets that disappeared when the universe was being created. Theia is followed by a group of Phantom senshi, who closely resemble the sailor senshi in both appearance and abilities. Ami is around 18 years old at the time of this roleplay, and her phantom senshi is Sailor Freeze. With the help of the other senshi, she must protect the Earth against Theia and her phantom senshi.
Eternal Senshi - After the fall of the Silver Millennium, Sailor Mercury and the other senshi are put ino a deep sleep. Queen Serenity sent the rest of those who had fallen during the battle to be reincarnated on Earth, including Princess Serenity. The senshi were sent to wake up when Princess Serenity reached her teenage years, so that they could monitor her and protect her, should the Dark Kingdom attack again. But for Mercury, watching over Serenity without getting close to her is proving to be a difficult task. She wants to hear Serenity's laugh and spend time with her, but she knows that it would jeopardize their mission. She hates Earth and everything about it. The intelligence and technology compared to that of her home planet disgusts her, and she hates having to surround herself with idiotic humans. She doesn't talk to anyone other than Jupiter, and she comes off as very cold to others. The only person who has managed to break her shell is Usagi, but Mercury knows they cannot have any sort of relationship. And so Mercury is forced to sit back and watch from afar, but even she knows she can't keep it up for much longer.
Crystal Academy - Founded and established by Queen Serenity and headed by delegates of Planet Mao, a Kingdom known for its wisdom and loyalty, the Crystal Academy, with its mandate of protecting the Galaxy and its Central Kingdom on the Moon, welcomes and trains all those wishing to pledge their gifts to this cause. Fearful for her daughter's safety on the Moon, Queen Serenity sends her daughter, Princess Serenity, to the Academy on Earth in hopes that she will be safer there. The princess of Mercury is one of the lucky ones chosen to attend Crystal Academy, and she does so without hesitation. Despite not wanting to leave her home and be placed in an environment full of strangers, Mercury is determined to make her parents proud and become a sailor senshi. The inner senshi do not know each other, and their powers will begin to manifest over the duration of the story.
To Kill A Moon Princess - After Usagi saved the world from destruction, the phenomenon woke the dormant outer senshi: Sailors Uranus and Neptune. Determined to vanquish the threat to their world that destroyed the Silver Millennium, Sailors Uranus and Neptune set out on their mission to kill the moon princess. Learning of the existence of two sailor senshi who don't want to protect Usagi, but rather kill her, is a hard concept for Ami to accept. She loves Usagi with all of her heart, and vows not to let anyone harm her, but is it really right to fight against two of their own kind?
Magnetism - After the Black Moon Clan was defeated, a new enemy appears in Tokyo in the form of the Death Busters. Makoto has been struggling in school recently, and her grades only seem to drop faster as the attacks increase in frequency. Embarrassed, Makoto tries her hardest to hide her problem from her friends, but secrets are hard to keep in such a close circle. Ami happens to notice one of Makoto's bad test scores, and out of worry and concern for her friend, she offers to tutor her. As their evenings together become longer and their relationship grows, Ami and Makoto begin to realize that long buried emotions are starting to resurface.
Peril & Petticoats - In an alternate universe, Amelia "Amy" Blair Hadley is the daughter of wealthy upbringing in steampunk/Victorian London. Her mother is one of London's best doctor's, and her father happens to be one of London's best landscape painters. Though her parents are divorced, their combined income has provided Amy with a life of comfort and luxury. Her mother was never home much during Amy's childhood, so she spent most of her time studying or playing with her neighbor and best friend, Gregory Collins. She was lonely up until junior high school, when she met Serenity, Rachael, Lita, and Mina. The five of them became instant friends despite their differences, and Amy valued their friendship, after not having many her entire life. She seemed to be doing pretty well for herself, until the Fading happened. Whole communities were being swallowed up, as was her Majesty's airship fleet. Amy's life remained mostly unaffected - until her parents mysteriously disappeared. First her father seemed to drop from the face of the Earth, and then she received a call from her mother's hospital informing her that her mother had been taken by the Fading while returning from France. Just like that, Amy lost everything. There was no money to pay for her home, no parents to come home to, absolutely nothing. Seeing that Amy was on the verge of being homeless, Gregory took the only measure that he knew would provide for her for the rest of her life - he proposed. Amy accepted his proposal, and the two became engaged to be wed. Greg's family swept Amy into their home, giving her a room to call her own and clothes to fit her body. Her life continues, but so does the Fading. When Amy and her friends come across an ad promising adventure and fame, she lets her curiosity get the best of her, unaware that this ad will be the key to unlocking all of her life's secrets.
Opposites Attract - After rumors of an incoming threat against the Moon Kingdom reach Queen Serenity, she decides to take action before it's too late. She summons Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mercury and gives them a mission to neutralize it, as she deems them the only ones capable of working together and getting the task done in a short amount of time. She sends them off to the planet Venus, the alleged source of the problem. Now the two guardian senshi, who could not have less in common with each other, must try to get along on the adventure of a lifetime for the sake of their kingdom. But what consequences will this mission have on their relationship?

Senshi Fuku:Sailor Mercury - As always with Sol Senshi, Sailor Mercury's leotard is white. The collar is dark blue, with two white lines along the trim. The sleeves of the leotard are white, shaped like two rings. Attatched to the collar is a light blue bow, with a dark blue orb in the center, holding it in place. The short, pleated skirt of the fuku matches the collar in color, and her knee-lemgth boots are dark blue with white trim. On the top of the skirt in the back, there is light blue bow. On her arms are elbow-length white gloves, with two rings of dark blue trim at the elbows. A dark blue choker necklace adorns her neck, and blue studs are on her ears. These studs, when pressed, will form a clear blue visor over Sailor Mercury's eyes. Completing the ensemble, a golden tiara with a dark blue jewel in the center is on Sailor Mercury's forehead.
Super Sailor Mercury - When in her super senshi form, the bow on Mercury's back extends in length, and the orb in the middle of the bow on her chest is shaped like a heart instead of a circle. Also, a golden star appears in the middle of her necklace, and the second ring of her sleeves becomes sheer.
Eternal Sailor Mercury - In this form, the gem on Sailor Mercury's tiara becomes a blue star, and gold stars appear on her earrings and on the front of her necklace. Her collar has one white line instead of two, and her sleeves become puffy and sheer with two blue cuffs. Three blue cuffs appear at the ends of her gloves, and a blue star takes place of the orb in the middle of her front bow. Instead of a long bow in the back, two blue ribbons are held into place at the front of Mercury's skirt by a golden star, where they wrap around her waist to attach to a short light blue bow on her back. Finally, her skirt gains a second, lighter blue layer.Powers:Mercury Aqua Mist - Streams of thick, foggy mist protrudes from Sailor Mercury's hands, obstructing the sight of her enemies.
Shine Aqua Illusion - To perform this attack, Sailor Mercury summons a drop of water out of thin air. This drop falls to the ground, creating ripples in a puddle of water. The water then rises up, entering Mercury's control. She then pushes the water at the enemy, engulfing it in the freezing liquid.
Shine Snow Illusion - This attack is quite similar to 'Mercury Aqua Mist,' because they both create a sort of smokescreen. To perform this attack, Sailor Mercury summons a flurry of icy snow, which she launches at her enemy. The sharp snow serves as a thick obstruction of one's line of sight, and can also cut the skin/clothing of anyone within the blizzard.
Mercury Aqua Rhapsody - To perform this attack, Sailor Mercury forges a harp out of water, and plays a beautiful tune that summons even more water, which she then blasts at her enemy. It can cause dreadful damage, and has the possibility of freezing an enemy.
Mercury Aqua Mirage - Sailor Mercury summons a globe of water in her hands that separates in powerful streams, forming in a larger globe around her enemy. This globe spins at a powerful rate, and can burst and destroy whatever is inside. It requires a lot of concentration and energy.
Sailor Planet Power - To perform this attack, Sailor Mercury must collaborate with the other Inner Senshi. By holding hands, the four (or five) Inner Senshi would combine their unique planetary powers, creating a powerful beam of energy that can be directed towards an enemy.
Weapons or Magical Items:Virtual Reality (VR) Visor - This translucent blue item appears over Sailor Mercury's eyes when she touches one of her earrings. It can be used to analyze, calculate, and compute enemies, strategies, and mysterious phenomena.
Communicator - This item resembles a watch with a large blue circular piece replacing the timepiece. The mark of Mercury is on the front, and once opened, the voices of anyone who contacts Ami can be heard.
Super Computer - This computer is disguised as a blue compact, but when opened, there is an array of buttons and switches. Ami/Sailor Mercury uses it to analyze data, find weaknesses, and gain information.
Transformation Pen - A blue pen with a golden cap. At the top of the cap is the symbol of Mercury. It is thrown away by Sailor Mercury during the battle against Queen Beryl.
Star Power Stick - This small stick is mostly blue, with a crown on top. The bottom of the crown is golden, while the top is blue. Protruding from the crown is a golden star with the symbol of Mercury in the center. This transformation item is used all the way from the defeat of the Dark Kingdom to the appearance of the Dead Moon Circus.
Crystal Power Stick - The "stick" part of this item is bubblegum pink, with a handle on the side. A golden pair of wings extends from the top of the small stick, and attached to the wings is a spherical blue orb. Inside of the orb is the golden symbol of Mercury, and on top of the orb is a small golden star. This transformation item is used from the beginning of the Dead Moon Circus (given to Sailor Mercury by Pegasus) to the end of time.
RP Sample: A blue-haired girl stood outside her private school, letting the pouring ran drench her hair and face. Her head was tilted backwards, allowing the cool moisture to roll down her forehead and cheeks. It was perfect weather, in her opinion. Dreary, morose, somber. It was like the girl's emotions had an effect on the weather.
Her mother had been transferred to a different hospital miles away from their home. They lived miles and miles away from the country's capital, and now they were being forced to move to it. "
Tokyo," Ami thought, taking a deep breath. This was it - her last day in her hometown. No more quiet, intelligent people who respected each other and conversed politely. Instead, she would be attending a dreadful public school, in which she would be surrounded by gossip, cruel looks, and annoying couples.
She wished her mother hadn't accepted the position. She wished she could stay here, where she belonged. She wished her parents hadn't divorced, wished she was old enough to make her own decisions.
Opening her eyes, the fourteen-year-old girl began to walk away from the school she had spent her entire life attending. She didn't look back, afraid of what she might do if she did so.
The rain had stopped. But the tears didn't.
