Does anyone still make their own personal websites to post all their otaku senshi information anymore? I feel like 10 years or more ago, most otaku senshi I came across had websites dedicated to them where there would be profiles, galleries, and then the fanfic behind the senshi if there was one.  Otaku senshi like Sailor Astera, Sailor Orion, Sailor Sirius, Sailormoon Millenia, etc., to name a few. 

I always wanted to make a nice website for my own otaku senshi but never had enough developed until now, but now I'm not really sure if this is even a thing anymore? Or does most everyone post their otaku senshi profiles on places like here and Deviant Art these days? Obviously the senshi might get more exposure that way, but I always wanted to make my profiles more of a presentation rather than a word document. I've already started messing around with the website builder Wix.com for some nice mock-ups.

I also miss going to all those otaku sites and sort of being "immersed" in the worlds that these otaku senshi creators imagined. Back when webrings were still a thing (lol), I remember being able to find all sorts of different sites for otaku senshi that people created and it was lots of fun. Anyone else miss this? Do people still make their own sites and I've just been out of the loop?

A lot of people will make a page or so on a forum or on tumblr to their Otaku's  No one really creates their own websites anymore.

I'm not familiar with people making websites or pages for their Otakus, but I say that if you want to make one for your otakus you should! There's no reason why you shouldn't or can't do something you want to do! Who cares if others do or don't do it anymore? =P

Well, I'll probably continue on making my own otaku senshi websites anyway, I was just kinda wondering why the trend disappeared. Especially since now it's much easier to create nice looking websites and blogs with all sorts of great free templates, as opposed to good ol' Geocities and Angelfire back in the day! Haha!

I wonder if there is any kind of tumblr directory for otaku senshi pages...Dunno how easy or not that would be to manage through tumblr, but I'd love to discover or browse through more otaku senshi! After I make my way through all the otaku senshi on here first, of course!

I think that there are less websites for fan-created sailor soldiers at the moment because all of the former communities for creating those sailor soldiers are gone. There used to be forums specifically dedicated to some of the heavily-trafficked websites of otaku senshi--such as Sailor Orion's Refuge forums, Sailor Astera had forums for a bit, and the Tower of Time. All of those forums are gone. The forums generated a lot of activity that seemed to encourage the creation of sailor soldier-specific websites.

If you want to make your own, though, you should! I wouldn't mind a renaissance of that sort of thing, myself. I've even still got a few websites of that nature, although they're horribly out of date.
