Appearance: Nephrite is best identifiable by his long, wavy, chocolate brown hair. His eyes match the shade of his hair, and he has a pale complexion. Nephrite's nose and chin are long, but he has a charming white smile that woos many women. He is rather tall, standing at a height of 5'10", but not the tallest of the shittenou. Nephrite has a very muscular build, with thick arms, a hard torso, and strong legs. As a civilian, Nephrite likes to dress very professionally. He typically wears slacks, blazers, button-up shirts, and whatever shoes are comfortable and sophisticated. The only time Nephrite wears sweatpants is in the comfort of his own home.
Personality: Although he doesn't like to admit it, Nephrite is a hopeless romantic. He takes relationships very seriously, and thinks that being a gentleman is very important. Nephrite's manners are exemplary, and he tends to charm any woman he talks to, sometimes without even trying. He can be very persuasive, especially when he has his mind set on something. Professionalism is something Nephrite has a knack for. Economics are his best subject, and he is great at bargaining and striking deals. He doesn't like to be messy, and keeps things organized for simplicity. Nephrite is a very proud man, and doesn't like to admit when he has made a mistake or when he is wrong. He also has a sensitive side, and he doesn't like to be made fun of or embarrassed. No matter what he is doing, Nephrite gives it his full effort and doesn't try to cheat. His confidence in his own abilities keeps him from taking extreme measures when it comes to getting what he wants. If there is one thing Nephrite will never do, that's break a promise. He is great at math and astronomy, but he hates english, history, and anything else. He wants to enter in a business-oriented career, whether that's accounting or sales or something like that doesn't matter to him. Nephrite loves food, and has a metabolism high enough that he could eat a week's worth of food and still be hungry. He dreams of one day having a family that he can provide for and spend time with. Every now and then, Nephrite likes to let loose and have a good time, but he is careful not to ever let himself get too carried away. His main priority is to make his superiors proud and make up for all of the mistakes he has made in the past.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Nephrite is extremely persuasive, and great at saving money. He's extremely talented with all kinds of math, and he has very quick reflexes. His strong muscles allow him to perform well athletically and give him an aura of safeness. Nephrite also has a very close, deep connection with the stars, and there is not a single constellation he cannot name.
History: During the Silver Millennium, Nephrite served as a shittenou under Prince Endymion of Earth. He served diligently under his prince, always making sure he was protected and away from harm. While serving for Endymion, Nephrite developed a brotherly relationship with Kunzite, the leader of the shittenou and the head of the Terran royal army. He had a close relationship with Endymion and the other shittenou, but Kunzite is the one Nephrite connects with the most. On one fateful day, Nephrite met a beautiful young woman by the name of Jupiter, and immediately fell in love with her gentle kindness and divine beauty. As the relationship between Nephrite and Jupiter progressed, so did the relationship between Endymion and one Princess Serenity of the Moon. The relationship between the Earth and Moon was forbidden, and was destined to bring utter disaster. And disaster did come. A jealous woman named Beryl was able to brainwash Nephrite and the shittenou into turning against Endymion and the people of the moon, and in his brainwashed state, Nephrite assisted in the destruction of the Silver Millennium. Queen Serenity locked Nephrite, Beryl, and the other shittenou away for a thousand years, and they awoke during the 20th century on Earth. Finally free, Nephrite worked with those of the Dark Kingdom to find the Imperium Silver Crystal and take control of the Universe. Unfortunately for them, they were stopped by Sailor Moon and her senshi, reduced to nothing but lifeless stones. However, after Sailor Moon defeated Queen Beryl, Nephrite was revived, brought back to life by the rejuvenating light of the Silver Crystal.
Other Noteworthy Facts: Nephrite has an addiction to ramen noodles. He is a Leo, and his favorite animal is the lion.
Storyline Specific Information:
Boys and Knights - When Nephrite was just a boy, his father died of illness. Now the only man in the house, Nephrite had to grow up quickly and learn the art of the sword in order to protect his mother and keep her safe. Growing up in a woman's household gave Nephrite the feminine touch, and he was known throughout his village as sweet and charming. When Nephrite reached his mid-teens, he passed a trial to serve the Prince of Earth, Endymion, as one of his shittenou. Knowing the job would be enough to provide for his mother, Nephrite eagerly accepted the opportunity. This RP explores his journeys as a shittenou and the lessons Nephrite learns as he endeavors on a new part of his life.
Shittenou Information
Realm of Influence: Physical Combat & The Stars
Henshin/Transformation Phrase: Nephrite does not have a transformation phase, but rather uses his symbolic nephrite stone to transform. To do so, Nephrite smashes the stone on the ground, causing streams of dark red to surround his body and change his clothes to that of a shittenou.
Shittenou Uniform: The basis of Nephrite's uniform is a grey jacket with grey pants. The inside of the jacket is made of white silk. A black belt wraps around his waist, with black boots on his feet. White gloves cover his hands, and dark red fabric trims the outlines of his jacket.
Powers: Nephrite does not have any specific powers, but he is capable of using the constellations to create weapons, allies in battle, etc.
Weapons/Magical Items:
Star Blade - This sword is crafted from the brightest of stars, and has a very sharp edge. It is light in his hands, but will completely dissolve in the hands of another.
Nephrite Stone - This small stone glimmers a deep green shade, shaped like a pyramidal crystal. It is the source of Nephrite's life and power, and without it, he would not be able to live. To transform, it must be thrown onto the ground, where it shatters to release Nephrite's powers. It returns to its original form once Nephrite de-transforms.
RP Sample: "Where are we going?" Nephrite asked, stumbling blindly as Sailor Jupiter led him by the hand. His eyes were covered by a blindfold, and so he was completely unaware of the direction he was heading. For all he knew, Jupiter could be leading him to the edge of a cliff. But he trusted her, and had faith that she wouldn't get him killed or anything like that.
Jupiter didn't say anything, but only led him further down the corridor. They made a few more turns, and suddenly Nephrite was forced to stop. "Are we there yet?" he asked. Feeling Jupiter's warm hand on his back, he took a few steps forward and sat down as she pushed on his shoulders. He could smell something faintly, but not enough so he would know what it was.
"You know, if this is your way of getting my attention, I assure you -" Nephrite's words were interrupted by a fork being shoved into his mouth. Surprised, he munched on the cold substance. He felt his tastebuds melting at the smooth, creamy sensation and the myriad of different flavors. "This is the best cheesecake I've ever tasted!" he said, with his mouth still full. Jupiter laughed and removed his blindfold, revealing a table of desserts of all sorts.
Nephrite's mouth fell open. Never in his life had he seen so much delectable desserts in one place. "Did you make all of this for me...?" he asked, turning towards the beautiful brunette. She smiled warmly and nodded, filling him with so much joy that he stood and lifted her into the air.
"You are one remarkable young woman," he said softly, putting her down and hugging her gently. As her arms wrapped around his waist, Nephrite smiled and thanked his lucky stars that he was able to find a woman as perfect as Jupiter.
