Achelois felt a calm presence as the voice spoke to them. Senshi that were locked up until just their spirits were left… Achelois’ heart cringed at the thought of these women being trapped here until even their bodies had faded away. When the glass shattered a light blue gemstone bangle hung in the air before her. She could feel warmth emanating from the jewel; it was reminiscent of the warmth felt by her own healing power. She held out her right hand and allowed the bangle to gently fall onto her palm. She gingerly held the bangle and closed her eyes just for a moment. We’ll defeat this monster so that no one else will lose their lives as you have. She slid the bangle onto her right wrist, her weariness fading away as her determination grew.

Sailor Andromeda

When they finally broke through the door and rushed into the next room, she wondered what new challenges awaited them. But it was different than the others. The soft glow, the mysterious voice that sounded comforting instead of threatening like the other one… she could almost forget that they were in the enemy’s stronghold.

They knew her?

She jumped when the cases exploded, but when one of the glowing items flew toward her, her eyes widened in disbelief. At first she thought it was going to attack, but it just hovered there, as if waiting for her to take it. And it was… it was the trident that she had seen a couple rooms ago. Listening to the story of the voices around her, she could feel the beginnings of tears prick her eyes. These were all… senshi? They had been captured here for so long, until there was barely anything left of them?

She did not understand how anyone could be so cruel. How it would feel to be here all that time, alone and helpless and unable to ever move on. Suddenly the loneliness she felt seemed nothing in comparison. Trivial and childish.

The trident glowed blue before her; an offering, a symbol of power. Kira stared at it in wonder, still unable to believe that it was real, or that it really chose her even after she became her own star’s senshi. Carefully she wrapped her hand around it, and the moment it touched her skin, she felt the echoes of its magnificent power, and what felt like something very similar to the power that had awakened within herself.

It was as if she could feel the spirit of the original senshi becoming one with her. Closing her eyes briefly, she promised that she would not leave this place until she fulfilled the mission that had been given to her.

Arch, was a bit disappointed, he and Rayden were left with nothing from the lost Senshi. "Hey!" Shouted Arch, "What about us?"

"He's got a point, you know," Rayden said, "We are friends of the Senshi, if it weren't for us, the lot of the Senshi might not be here."

Sailor Io looked around when the strange, but gentle voice echoed around them. Her eyes were drawn to the case as the spirits spoke of their imprisonment. They had been left here so long that they had crumbled to dust. What kind of horrible fate was that for a senshi? The glass shattered and she almost jumped, but the pieces didn't hurt them.

"It's beautiful..." Sailor Io gently touched the quarterstaff floating before her, feeling its energy within. She grabbed it and spun it around before resting it on its tip. "Thank you," she said to the voice. They had a few more people counting on them to win this fight now.

Sailor Bellatrix

As the door cracked under the final push from herself and Shadow, the group began to pile into the next room. There was no time to scope out the room, to see if it was safe. It was a risk; this room could end up being even worse than the one they had just left. But there was no time, they had to move. The thunderous footsteps of the approaching monster echoed their desperation.

Once everyone was inside, the door slammed closed, sealing their fate.

The voices that filled the room instantly put Bellatrix on edge, and she clutched her spear, ready for an attack. But the voice was warm, and soft, and the lights in the room glew just as pleasantly. Even though the location of the speaker was impossible to find, Bellatrix found herself relaxing anyway.

These lights did not seem like enemies, and as the voices continued to tell their story, Bellatrix frowned. The Collector. He became more dispicable the more she heard of him. They would stop him, for the Solar Senshi, and for these poor lost senshi as well.

The amethyst amulet floating before her continued to to bob up and down, and Bellatrix reached out for it, feeling drawn to the focus and calm that emitted from it. Once it was in her hands, she could feel the power of the amulet working through her, calming her and allowing her mind to be free from the dark blankness of rage that she always fought against at every moment. The struggle was still there, but now it felt as though she no longer struggled alone.

Bellatrix smiled down at the amulet, at the spirit of a senshi that resided within it. "Thank you," she said softly to it. "We'll do our best to help you."

She placed the amulet around her neck, and then turned her attention onto the rest of the group, awaiting what would happen next.

Sailor Nocturnus gasped, amazed at the beauty of the room and the treasures that offered themselves forward. The golden object that floated before her looked like it belonged in a classroom--a glass orb, maybe two feet in diameter, dotted with glimmering marks outlining stars. In the center mechanical gears provided motion to a series of differently-sized orbs on internal tracks. They danced around each other as the glass sphere rotated. It looked familiar, somehow...

"This is your Celestial Sphere..." whispered one of the voices from before.

Fascinated, she reached forward. As her gloved fingers made contact with the glass, it released a burst of energy and no longer was there a physical object. Instead, perched just at Sailor Nocturnus's fingertips glowed a golden sphere of glistening stars. Inside the sphere she could see the stars of the current star cluster, shining brightly, with the fortress represented at the center. Dark eyes wide, she held it closer. Inside, the continued motion mimicked their current location.

Cautiously, the girl gestured her arms farther apart. The sphere enlarged, magnifying, the translucent central images increasing in size. She tested it, contracting and expanding the golden energy between her small hands. With a giggle, the young sailor soldier dramatically threw her arms to the side, tossing her head back. The sphere shot outwards, enveloping the room and the sailor soldiers within, studding the walls with twinkling stars and suspending the ghostly representations of the star cluster all around them.

Sailor Nocturnus giggled and shuffled her feet, bounding with energy. She felt revitalized, mentally at least, despite the battles they had just endured and the fight they were sure to engage in soon as they continued their rescue mission. But right now, spinning under these projected stars, she felt comforted. It felt like being home.

The dark-clad soldier spread her arms again, collecting the golden stars, and contracted them into a basketball-sized object that she curled her arms around, pressing it to her chest and resting her chin on top. She closed her eyes for a moment.

"It's so warm," Sailor Nocturnus thought, opening her eyes to gaze down into the stars. "Like mother."

Shadow squinted in the darkness, attempting to make out finer details of the corridor that the Senshi had entered. A thick, obscuring umbra engulfed the hallway, permitting only the most basic of outlines with which to navigate. He maneuvered towards the front of the group, careful not to move more than a few feet away. Something about this place was unsettling him.. not the darkness itself, but what it was hiding.

When Io shared her wishful thinking, Shadow opened his mouth to respond. To his surprise, a different voice filled the chamber and set the hairs of his neck on edge. He looked around, finding the glass display casings and their exotic contents.

Where is that sound coming from?

It became clear to him who was speaking once the chorus of voices had joined the first speaker. The artifacts! They were lying dormant until their arrival, but now were exuding gentle radiance with each word spoken. When the glass cases shattered, Shadow instinctively shielded his face with his arms; he tended to expect the worst from an unfamiliar situation. Luckily, no sharpened slices of silica were hurled at him or any other person.

He listened to the voices, who identified themselves as Senshi from scattered locations in their immediate universe. His anxiety wasn't so irrational in hindsight; the inner radiance of their individual essences was a stark contrast to the darkness that lingered within his own spirit. They caused no physical harm to Shadow, but his left hand remained over his face regardless; their tale was gloomy enough to evoke a genuine feeling of sympathy. That feeling burned and smouldered within his mind, demanding that he take action to ensure the same fate would not be shared by the Sol Senshi or King Endymion.

Rather than speak, Shadow pressed his back to the wall near the velvet pedestals that once held the artifacts while keeping his face covered. Sympathy had changed to indignation, which fell like a deluge upon his otherwise flexible sense of morality. But the girls.. they couldn't know, could they? How could he tell them that it was this same consuming feeling that had driven him to fight underneath Beryl and Metalia? In the very best of scenarios, it would be an unwelcome distraction.

Hearing the tragic story didn't change the Senshi's ultimate goal, but it did sever the Collector from any considerations of mercy. If it was up to him to decide, Shadow would surely put the curator of this horrible museum to the sword.

Enyalius, now on her feet and holding on to the impressive bronze shield, felt the wonder fade out of her upon hearing the words of the small commander and his even smaller friend, a dark mood taking its place in her heart as she glared at the pair from across the room. Even the delighted giggles of the youngest of them did nothing to ease the indignation swelling within her. These women were dead in all ways but one, forced to reside here well past their mortal time, their powers and souls manifesting into what she could only assume was a representation of their power base, and yet they still mustered up the ability to call out to their group, to lead them out of the chamber beyond, and then offered themselves in the attempt to destroy their captor. What would happen if these items broke? Would they be doomed to darkness for all eternity? Would they be denied the rest they deserved? And still they had come forward to offer their assistance.

A frown pulled tight at her lips as her eyes narrowed, copper gaze pinpointing the sniveling and ungrateful pair who had either lost their mind or had a warped idea of the events that had so far transpired. They fought, yes, but no more than any other here. Had they stood up to defend another any in the battles? She did not believe so; had Achelois not healed them both? They could not even traverse the distance to get here if it had not been for Achelois's gliding contraption and her own aid through the Oort Cloud, and yet they dared to shout at these benevolent spirits, dared to claim that they were responsible for "the lot of the Senshi"'s safety thus far on this venture?

Enyalius slipped her arm into her shield and took a threatening step forward, grip on her sword renewed despite the energy she had lost fighting their enemies in the previous room. She would not suffer such disrespect, for that is how she interpreted the words of them both. Disrespect towards these Lost Senshi, and disrespect towards the Senshi gathered here, many of whom had done more for this venture than either of them had. Perhaps his appreciation of a Senshi's powers needed some encouragement?

"Our power may be diminished," the original voice replied, the walls glowing softly as it responded to the other-worlder, "But it is still the power of a Senshi, backed by the energy of our home stars and planets. One such as you, we would not be able to help; our powers resonate with the Sailor Crystals that reside within others such as ourselves, to be honed and applied with the guidance of their own Crystal. Were we to try to help you directly, young one, we would tear you apart from within; however, we can tell you where to find items that might help you."

"So there's hope?" asked Arch.

"Stop me if I'm wrong, but I assume we're to find our tools in some armory?" Asked Rayden.

"If you give us the chance to prove our loyalty to the Senshi, we will help to avenge you," Arch wasn't sure if those were the right words to say towards their final confrontation with the Collector, but he had to make clear he was fighting for a good cause.

"Arch, you barely took out any minions, Achelois was mending your wounds the entire time, and above all, you've become nothing to them but the world's largest paperweight, metaphorically speaking," Rayden not once criticized Arch on his rash behavior, Arch had the makings of an officer, but lacked the activity to show his position of power!

Arch felt like strangling Rayden for such harshness, but he felt something. The bitter truth, turned Arch's pride to ashes in his mouth. And with a firm sigh, he affirmed his shortcoming, "I should've known better than to try and bend this world to my will. Everything is much different to what Mundus consists of in terms of supernatural elements. If I must battle the collector, the way it must be, so be it. It's just unbelievable that the girls have all the powers in this realm, while the men can only do so much."

Rayden only petted him, "This realm mainly consists of female warriors, you can't change that cold fact of nature. Even if change is nature. What choice do you have besides play the scapegoat?"

Arch only raised his Gunblade, then said, "The choice to be an asset, never a liability! If I focus on what I've left behind, I'll never know what lies ahead. Let's keep moving forward and solve this thing!"

Rayden only smiled. Proud that Arch is finally maturing in to the warrior the Senshi wanted him to be!

Enyalius's glare did not soften with their lighthearted exchange, nor did her stance; they had no humility, no respect; the lion-esque creature chided the little commander, while the creature had been the one making assertions on their usefulness, hinting that without the two of them, she and the other senshi would have been defeated. Arch's rambling about the other world he was from did nothing to distract her from his final statement - "It's just unbelievable that the girls have all the powers in this realm, while the men can only do so much." Her grip tightened even further - did he truly think himself better than they for simply being male?!

His companion continued in a placating tone, lecturing him on the cold fact of nature that those that wielded the greatest power in this universe were female, and that it was up to poor old Arch to serve as a scapegoat?! What, exactly, was he a scapegoat for?! Who, exactly, was blaming wrongdoings on him? Whose faults was he absorbing? No one was blaming anyone, yet, and any wrongdoings that would be thrown his way would be his own. And she had a planet, and had been to many a planet filled with male warriors who would beg to differ with these creatures that the "realm" 'mainly consisted of female warriors'.

And, she thought with a deepening scowl, if these two were the average fair of warriors wherever they came from, they could stand to be a little less misogynistic and learn a thing or two from 'girls'.

She crossed the hallway, resisting the urge to strike him only for being in the presence of honorable ancient spirits, instead settling on pushing him out of the way as she made for the door to the room. "Sailor Senshi," she addressed, pausing before the opening, "Shadow," she added, calling out the honorable fighter, "Let's go."

For those who had not been paying much attention to her expression, or had not been bothered by Arch and Rayden's exchange, her stone-cold tone may have come as a surprise.

"The Collector's private room is beyond," the ancient senshi said, "We were part of his prized collection, and your friends will be waiting for you where we once waited. Defeat him, and we may all go free."

With that, the soft glow in the room began to fade and the elaborate doorway before Enyalius became accessible. She waited for only a moment before stepping through into a massive room with a glass ceiling, images playing overhead, snapshots of different worlds. Across the expansive walls were hung weapons and plaques beneath pictures of battles from a multitude of worlds. It was a fascinating sight - the colors, the stages, the garb, the fighters - but also morbid; these were no paintings. These were true images, probably taken from whatever image source was at work above. That he had been to those battlefields to retrieve weapons like a common grave-robber was deplorable.

Jasper!:

As Enyalius's boots clicked across the black marble floor, the darkness in the center of the room shifted until a giant of a man turned, his black coat seeming to move the darkness itself as his bright green eyes found them.

"So, there you are. I had wondered where you had gotten off to. Hercules was most upset that he did not get to pla-- What do you have there?" He interrupted himself, his voice changing from teasing and soft to sharp and disbelieving.

"What do you have?!" his breath seemed to catch in his chest, his eyes narrowing, alighting on the items of the Lost Senshi; he recoiled, so angry he was seething, as he sputtered

"THIEVES! NO ONE steals from my Collection! NO ONE!"

He launched himself forward, hands first, towards them. Seemingly of its own accord, Enyalius's shield arm raised defensively.

The sheer size of The Collector threw Sailor Io off for a beat, and all she could was watch as he assaulted the group. Taking advantage of his rage and closeness to her, she started running an electrical current through her new Quarterstaff. The rod's silver quality turned it into a strong electromagnet, and she used its power to boost her next attack.

"Io Three-Ring Pulse!" She spun the staff in front of her, releasing waves of magnetic force at him.

Io found herself grinning as the waves of magnetic force crashed against The Collector, already feeling the rush of adrenaline. She backed up and took a defensive stance, holding the staff horizontally.

"Ha, you're not all that tough face to face, are you?"

Having been lost in thoughts about the item she now carried and what it meant, Kira didn’t tune in to the conversation around her again until she heard the order to move forward. She heard the voices tell them that The Collector’s private room lay ahead—their final challenge. Her heart lifted at the thought of finding their lost friends and the solar system senshi. They were so close. What once felt like an impossible mission now seemed like a completely possible victory.

She stepped into the next room, momentarily distracted by all the scenes playing around her. It really was like entering the past somehow, though most of the images she did not recognize. Then a new voice boomed around the room and she finally lay eyes on their enemy. He turned from gloating to furious so quickly that Kira barely had time to figure out what was going on. She had no time to defend his attack, though thankfully one of the new items did it for her.

Only suffering minimal damage, she watched as Sailor Io launched into an attack, and decided to follow suit. “Wave Tide Maelstrom!” she called out, sending powerful ocean waves to surge toward The Collector. Until this moment, she had not truly released her star’s true oceanic powers, and it felt appropriate to finally do it for this enemy.

Shadow pointed briefly towards Io as he moved up to the front ranks to join the Senshi in their fighting efforts. When, or if she took notice of him, he craned his head towards Enyalius to indicate her active role in buffering a major blow from the conniving curator. Shadow then gripped his stolen falchion with his left hand, challenging the Collector's furious declaration with a defiant tone. It began as a soft voice of reason that grew with intensity, threatening to devour their enemy's pseudologic.

"Bold words for an opportunistic, graverobbing vulture. I wouldn't have cared if your victims were limited to nonanimate physical objects, but you had to dabble in kidnapping to placate your disgusting obsession! And through your illusion of choice, you defile their memories and their bodies instead of honoring their memory."

Shadow circled about to the side, minding his physical surroundings as he prepared to defend himself from the Collector. Though he carried an awful track record on psychological warfare within the Citadel, drawing some attacks towards himself would surely help the Senshi if he could squander the killing intent thrown in his direction. He could anticipate and counterattack accordingly, all in a bid to lure the Collector away from the Earth Kingdom longsword that hung upon the wall.

"The only mercy I'll give you is euthanasia."

Sailor Bellatrix

With the added affects of her new amulet, Bellatrix found herself unable to be angry about the conversation going on. If that was his view, then so be it. It didn't matter one way or another, as the fact was, the senshi were strong, with or without the help of anyone else. One person's troubling views did not change this fact. How wonderful to be able to look at things in this way. She knew that, without the amulet, she might have been enraged to hear such things.

The group moved forward, and Bellatrix took in a deep breath before letting it out slowly. She felt calm and at ease. Ready for the next battle without feeling as though her mind was trying to tear itself apart.

As they entered the next room, the size of the Collector was surprising. Of all the things she had imagined in her mind, Bellatrix had not thought of the Collector as being quite this large. The battle would not be as easily fought as she had originally thought.

But that did not matter either. They were a strong group when they all worked together, and the Collector would fall just as all of the others had.

As the group began to attack, Bellatrix joined them. Rushing towards the Collector, Bellatrix attacks.

Achelois heard the dimensional being and his companion complain about the Senshi but she paid no mind to it. They had visited a planet with views like that once before; she knew there wasn’t much they could do or say to change their minds. Achelois could tell that Enya was getting angrier. For moment the thought crossed her mind to calm all of them down but she decided against it. The little being had walked himself into this situation and she wasn’t going to even attempt to stop Enya should she lash out in any way. Curiously enough Enya didn’t say anything to the little being although her scowl said otherwise; she just called them to move forward to the next room.

In the next room Achelois was quite taken aback by the images that played all over the ceiling. They were so life like Achelois’ stomach dropped; these were no ordinary images. Her thoughts were pulled to the man, no, the monster that stood before them. His discontent with their possession of the Lost Senshi quickly became evident when he lashed out and attacked them. Achelois was in the back and was easily able to dodge his attack but a few of the Senshi had been grazed. Some of them still hadn’t recovered from their last battle, namely Sailor Bellatrix. As Achelois focused her energy on the Senshi the gem in her bracelet glowed blue. It felt as though her energy became more concentrated. ..

Arch then had a revelation, "Know what, I just figured it out, the Senshi are there for all types of sentience, no matter the gender or species."

"In that case," Rayden said, "Shall we give the Collector a taste of outlander fury?"

"With gusto!" Arch affirmed.

Arch bolted to the Collector's Private Chamber, Rayden in his knapsack, "Ey! Mr. Collector! I'm talking to you!"

"Here's something to add to your Collection, a souvenir battle scar!" And Arch slashed at the Collector, triggered pulled to amplify pain!

The tension in the room made Sailor Nocturnus uncomfortable. She quietly tiptoed behind some of the taller sailor soldiers in the group, trying to distance herself from the hostility emanating from Sailor Enyalius. It's not that she couldn't understand why their leader was upset, and she wasn't afraid of the other woman, but she didn't know how to respond. It made her acutely feel being the child of the group.

She was relieved when they moved into the next room, but that relief turned quickly to cold dread when the massive foe revealed himself. Sailor Nocturnus wondered if this was what bugs felt like looking up at humanoids. His rage upon seeing his treasures in the hands of the sailor soldiers terrified her, but when the other sailor soldiers attacked, she joined in.

As she stepped forward, the sphere in her arms grew warmer and pulsated. She could feel power flowing from it, coursing through her body and aligning with her own sailor crystal's power.

"Little princess..." a voice whispered in her mind, one of the voices from the room before, "We are all made of star-matter, but the stars are not merely your ancestry, they are your devoted comrades. Call upon them to support you, and you shall never be denied."

The many golden stars reflected endlessly in her dark eyes as she stared down into the sphere.

"Daughter of the night, let us aid you."

Sailor Nocturnus glared at the Collector and threw the Celestial Sphere. It expanded over the room, studding the walls with golden brilliance. As she raised her arm, a single golden star flickered there, and as she contained to draw it forward, the star increased in brightness. The wisdom and experience of the sailor soldier that had offered up her heart filled the young and untaught one. The star at her fingertip strobed thrice, then the stars that had fixed themselves upon the wall joined with it, raining down and intensifying the glow.

"Midnight... Zenith!" Sailor Nocturnus called out, as the star shot towards the Collector.

She braced for impact [defense], knowing that he was a formidable foe and would certainly lash out again at the sailor soldiers.

Arch decided to act resourceful and cut the rope of a chandelier to bombard on the Collector. "And another addition," he quipped, "a chandelier that rained on your parade!"

Next, Arch braced for impact, he can only predict an attack by the Collector, just not how he will attack Arch.

When her attack connected squarely with the target, expanding outward in a blaze of golden light, Sailor Nocturnus could have jumped up and down with excitement at having been successful. But this was not yet the time to celebrate--their foe attacked, and although she escaped his fury, she knew they could not rest until he was stopped.

Facing the Collector, Sailor Nocturnus repeated the motions of her attack. "Midnight Zenith!"

Again, she felt the gentle guidance of the sailor soldier who now existed as the Celestial Sphere. As she protected herself as best she could [defense], she prayed that the sailor soldier's power would help her fell the enemy.

Recoiling from the deadly force directed at him, Shadow teleported away from the worst of the attack and appeared beneath the painting of the Moon Kingdom's fall. He smiled bitterly, having been unable to completely avoid the strike; it was still better that he had distracted the Collector this way, allowing the greedy giant of a man to expose himself to the Senshi's collective retribution.

One last card to play.

Shadow leaped upward, taking the ancient longsword into his skilled hands. Letting go of the falchion in favor of his blade, he began to imbue the edge with volatile power. A destructive haze erupted around Shadow's sword, obscuring what little light it could not absorb; this had the effect of making his weapon to be constructed of nothing more than a seething, writhing mass of flamelike darkness.

Wielding the technique he had developed centuries ago along with the only sword strong enough to bear such energies, Shadow rushed forward to attack the Collector.

Sailor Andromeda

Her attack hit The Collector and the waves soon dissipated, but she forgot to be prepared for the return onslaught. The force of his attack knocked her off balance and landed her squarely on the ground. Using the trident to get back on her feet, she could feel her strength slowly depleting, and yet… there was still the full power hidden within the newly acquired weapon that was begging to be released. Gathering all her strength and focusing into the source of power deep within her, Sailor Andromeda—for she finally felt like the guardian rather than just the lost princess—tapped into the ‘spirit’ of the trident and let it guide her. New words filled her mind, and pointing the weapon straight toward The Collector, she yelled with all her might: “Andromeda Ocean Fury!”

Letting loose of every bit of destructive power within her.

Enyalius's shield arm was still twitching from the impact of the Collector's initial blow; she had recovered quickly enough after his attack, but while she had considered rushing forward to engage the leader head-on, she had stopped. She watched her companions as they took charge, the Lost Senshi items aiding their attacks and amplifying their abilities, Senshi living and dead working in harmony to defeat their enemy, energy rippling through the room as powerful attacks lay into their foe again and again, weakening him, hurting him. He attacked back, but with the natural flow of Achelois's healing powers, Enyalius did not fear for them. She watched as Shadow provoked the hulking creature, then seemingly disappeared and reappeared below a weapon, which he took and continued his attack; she felt movement her side as Sailor Splash* took off on the other side of the room, rushing towards the other end and the elaborately decorated door that stood out from the wall. She watched as Andromeda and Nocturnus unlocked new abilities and wasted no time in putting them to good use; Bellatrix's attack was more focused than before, Io's style adapting to her new weapon - even the small commander's attack power had increased, despite his apparent lack of aide. As the final blow was struck by Andromeda and Shadow, it was over.

The Collector went down underneath their blows, seeming to fade into the floor, leaving nothing behind but his dark cloak.

The room around them glowed again with the soft light from before, their items humming and glowing in response; "He is gone!" the voice celebrated, "And we... are free. I can feel it - the ability to leave, to pass on..." The senshi's items glowed, but rather than completely disappear, the colored lights seemed to remove themselves from the physical manifestations, emerging as bright lights emanating from heart-shaped crystals the size of a person's fist. They pulsed in time with each other, their colors creating a rainbow hue throughout the room, shining pure light even in the deepest recesses, reflecting off the black marble floor and the clear glass ceilings. The light was happy, but felt tired, and after a moment of silence, the voice continued with relief, "A light calls us from the center of your Milky Way, a light that feels like home..."

"We will pass on - "

"We deserve a break!"

"But we will entrust what is left of our power to you." The items on their persons sparkled once again, each Senshi feeling a tendril of power that tried to tap into their own; Enyalius immediately accepted, only too willing to give this lost warrior a chance to live on, and felt the power of the shield become one with her, filling her with the sense of relief the armor's previous owner must have been feeling, before that emotion faded, and the shield became truly hers. Despite the empty feeling the departure of the senshi's soul, Enyalius could feel the item retaining the power of whatever star or planet the lost senshi had hailed from. She would still live on, protecting the universe from Chaos.

"Keep up the good fight!"

"Believe in yourself."

"And in others; no one can do it alone."

"Value peace, and know that it can be achieved, no matter what the difficulty!"

"Peace... finally, peace." The lights shimmered once more together, as though finally realizing what was to come for them; coming to terms that it was finally over, that they would soon be able to rest. How long had it been...?

"Good luck, Sailor Senshi," a voice broke through, one light floating above the rest; the others began to move with it, "and Thank you!"

With their chorus of thanks, the Sailor Crystals shot upward, phasing through the glass ceiling and continuing off into space, appearing as nothing more than a handful of shooting stars on their way home.

"Who were they?" a voice, soft and sincere, called, echoing through the room to find them. Turning towards the door Sailor Splash had disappeared through, they found a woman dressed in a long white gown, the bows in her dress appearing as fairy wings behind her, her long golden hair pinned up in buns that every senshi in the universe would recognize: Neo Queen Serenity had been freed. She approached them, closing the gap, her eyes wide as they took in their surroundings, and the dark cloak heaped on the black marble floor; to her left and right, stepping through the entry way and quickly catching up to their Queen was her court, their eyes scanning the room in various stages of alertness and alarm; Sailor Mercury already had her computer out, her fingers moving in a blur.

Last to emerge were Sailor Splash, Sailor Saturn, and Princess Serenity, Sailor Solar Eclipse and Sailor Lunar Eclipse flying to either side; the pink haired girl looked around the room quickly, but her eyes fell on the rag-tag group of senshi almost immediately, and smiled brightly. She quickly ran forward, nearly passing her mother, but Neo Queen Serenity caught her arm before the girl could reach the black cloak on the floor. The Princess's face fell in confusion, glancing from the cloak and then up to them. A beat passed before the smile returned to her face, "You saved us, didn't you?"
