I'll be doing a series of puzzle games, like the GC one ^^

I'm thinking of doing a Guess The Meaning as well and a topic with some curiosities about Brazil.

Does that sound cool?

the midwest could do puzzle too, i have a landmark that would make a hard killer puzzle. *evil laugh*  

I'm not saying no one could do Guess the Image xD You're allowed to still do it!!! Just needed some variety =] And all those ideas sound cool =] ^^

so if we need banners for let's say puzzle or image winner, should we have a over all winner and a round winner???  

we could have a Quiz, and to see if the people are reading the info XD

also should we have stamps, for "visiting each section"

A quiz sounds like it could be nice and fun. As for the stamps and bumpers and all that kind of stuff, Sailor Mars would have to give the okay/no go on that one xD Cause I'm not really sure =P

I'm doing a jigsaw puzzle and word search game   

I'll be posting all what me and Rei are doing when I get the word doc from her, hopefully today. I'll post all of the completed graphics along with it as well.

okay, midwest people, we need to get things together. would getting together by pm be easier then posting here???

so far we have, gusse the images, puzzle and quiz.   so each person could host one, and use images and info from each person state meaning the others would have to send that stuff to the host..   i think we should firgure out the sig prizes, like do a mix up for round winner and side bumber for playing from each person state and the host could choose the over all winner banner for the game they host

I have an idea, you how like last year Easter eggs were hidden in the text??  we could do that in our info part of the project.  and if someone finds all of them, they get a banner

I'm going to have to pull out of this. End of the term college stuff is going to take up a lot of my time until the 23rd at the latest and I don't have the energy to commit myself to this event at the same time. I hope the event goes well and everyone has fun.

Has Sailor Saturn joined in this for Taiwan? I know she worked on a presentation for school recently about her trip and it'd be awesome to see snippets from it.

so is each person making there own games or should people in the same area team up and share the games... i need to know so i know what to send to Mercury for the images

I'm working on the writing part.   I have most of the sections filled, i just need to add to them and write it out in a better format. 

I'm getting images together to be sent to Merc. and to be used in guess the image and puzzle.  (but they are not in guess or puzzle form yet)

I have not started on the quiz as i need the writing to be done first

As stated before, me and Rei are going to have a section titled 'United Kingdom'. And then within that section will be sub-threads which are for Scotland and England alone. With the games and other threads to go with it. There will probably also be a small section for the UK as a whole. But, not very big.

We had this planned, we both still need to confirm this though before we are definitely doing it. I'll catch her later on to confirm.

EXPLANATIONS
-Doctor Who Guess The Image - This is a highly popular British drama, I'll mildly distort an image and participants will have to guess who the character is and if necessary, the episode.

Prizes for the Guess The Image
- For the Winner.

- Participants will be able to choose one of these to show they tried.

Coat of Arms
I have a template for a coat of arms, participants will have to design their own coat of arms to represent their country/area. I'll judge and they will win something like a signature or sprite? I have yet to create the graphics for this one. I will probably make participants bumpers as well.



Scottish Words
Rei was thinking of stating Scottish words and/or phrases. People will have to translate them without help from an online translator. Upon correct guessing, the winner would receive this bumper:



Find your Clan Name
There will be a link for a site which you will take a test that will help determine your Scottish Clan. People who find their clan through the site and report back to the thread, will receive a special bumper.



Complimentary Bumpers

People would receive these for just visiting the UK thread.

- There are 2 Scottish inspired ones and 2 English inspired ones.

Banners
There will be a banner for England, Scotland and the UK. So far, I only have one for the UK done. When I have the others done, I'll edit this post to keep all the graphics together.



If I've missed anything or the Scottish things need more explaining, Rei will correct me or add extra bits in. As said, all new graphics will be edited into this post.

Since I'm doing my part alone, mine probably won't be as elaborate as all these other team effort >_> I do hope I could at least do it justice because now this feels a bit big for one person ^^;

I probably also won't be contributing quite as much as everyone else is >< I just want to post up a few threads, one about the Czech history in Iowa, one about the Amish colonies here, and another with recipes xD I don't think I'll have time to do any games :/

I sent Mercury the images to be made into bumpers and banners.    when i get home from work, i can put the info part into paragraphs right now it;s just Notes and info XD then i get make the quiz

and I started make the puzzle, and getting images for the guess the image BUT being that this thing is a week long, more images can be found later.

Are we having the games during the whole week

I'm gonna do more of a "fun fact finder" about the Southwest. I'm still thinking how to present my world fair project in a way of interest. Recipes seem like fun, then I want to mention music from the Southwest region...and about the climates not limited to desert the Southwest is known for.
