I really want to draw some pictures but they turn out bad I mean extremely! So I would appreciate some tips that some of you artists out there are willing to give.

Its difficult to tell you what you need to fix/help with, with no picture to go off on/critique. Thats why they keep asking, where to start just get the image in your head and just start drawing. Or else it will be very hard for us to tell you what you need help on or to give any tips.

Well, I like to draw portraits so I would advise you to start with the head. If you are not a practicing artist, it can be rather daunting trying to draw the whole figure, especially because you need to become a costume designer of sorts to draw the intricacies of his outfit. So, let us start with the head first, shall we? Once you draw his head then you can draw his mask and add the top hat. I would advise that you follow basic anime tutorials on how to draw the head -- and then there are also tutorials on the eyes, which are really a very easy formula. The mouth is probably the easiest. The key to drawing is always work very light at first. Do not make every line a dark intended stroke because then that makes it rather difficult to erase. Here is a tutorial on head perspectives: http://yuumei.deviantart.com/art/Head-Perspective-Chart-111580222?q=favby%3Aan-artists-portrait%2F10693632&qo=109 A tutorial on drawing general anime portraits: http://ember-snow.deviantart.com/art/TUTORIAL-How-to-Draw-Anime-93448259?q=favby%3Aan-artists-portrait%2F10693632&qo=115. This does not apply to Tuxedo Kamen so much because his eyes are longer and his face a little more angular. But if you at least follow the steps, it may help you if you mimic them for your own piece. Another How to Draw Anime tut: http://ember-snow.deviantart.com/art/TUTORIAL-How-to-Draw-Manga-2-110956438?q=favby%3Aan-artists-portrait%2F10693632&qo=141 This talks about different eyes: http://bommie.deviantart.com/art/Tutorial-Draw-Eyes-Pencil-32826548?q=boost%3Apopular%20draw%20anime%20eyes&qo=0 I will be perfectly honest -- I never draw by making the head and proportions first. I always start by making a "t" just so I know where I want to angle the face and place the eyes, nose and mouth. I then draw the eyes, work down to the nose, the mouth, hair and then chin. Perhaps it would be best if you picked an anime shot of him and we could mull over it together?

Well looks like Jupiter beat me to the suggestions. But it stems to real basic art, you can apply this to other styles than just anime too. You break everything down into shapes. If you look at "how to draw cartoon" books, those breakdown into shape stages are very important. So just keep that in mind. Also practice practice practice!
