Brony is a term that can be applied to both boys and girls. However I have seen the term Pegasister thrown around as well. For me...well...I'm just like being a big ole MLP fan. ^^

I refer to myself my as a fan as well, but I like the term pegasister. It sounds like it belongs to secret organization/club at a school where everyone dresses up in cloaks.

"Brony" is, as Small Lady put it, a term which can refer to any fan of MLP: FiM who falls outside of the target demographic (preteen). It's the most widely used title for fans of the show; and since a large majority of Bronies are indeed male (at least, that is what one study showed), it tends to have staying power. It doesn't mean that girls are excluded, however. Nobody is excluded in Equestria.
I have to say that the fan art is absolutely amazing. There are so many dedicated artists who are big fans of MLP, and the sheer volume they produce means there is never a shortage of wonderful art pieces. My mind was blown when my friend showed me how much has already been created.

As far as I know, yes! I can always find the new episodes too. The one thing Hasbro has been cool about is having the episodes on Youtube. I think they understand the internet culture is where the majority of their fanbase is and intend to keep it that way.

I remember one guy who was uploading the episodes got them all taken down. I think it was a company claiming that they were Hasbro because everyone else who upload episodes still had their videos up.

Probably. Because if Hasbro were to do that, there would probably be an uprising of Bronies and they'd lose a majority of their current fanbase.
