So far, I am not opposed to it. Out of curiosity, why do all of the ponies seem to be so... underdeveloped compared to the princess?

What do you mean by underdeveloped?

Well, all of the ponies have such a tiny stature compared to the princesses. Are they babies/teenagers? The princesses actually look like horses, except Princess Luna is tinier than her older sister. All the other ponies, even those whom I assume are adults, look like foals. I mean, I know it is called "My Little Pony" but why the big discrepancy?

Hmm well you've got to remember it's just cartoon. On realistic point of view they are ponies not horses. Ponies are much smaller than horses.

Looking at a cartoon point of view:

The mane 6 are probably in their late teens seeing how they have "jobs" and some of them live on their own. We know for sure they're not children because we seen ponies like Apple Bloom that represent children of the show. As for size I think they're full grown because the mane 6 are the same size as the mayor and Twilight's parents. It would be nice if the show mentioned their ages.

As for Luna and her sister. I feel like since they're both princesses that they're drawn differently because of that reason. To show their importance and what not. Maybe Luna is small because she's the younger sister?

My main question is about the princesses' ages. The show implies that they have been in power for a very long time seeing how they created the sun and the moon. Also why are they sill called princesses seeing how we don't see their parents? My guess is that parents are dead. Then Luna's sister should be a Queen which would make Luna remain as a princess.

Also, I think its become fanon to call the Princesses, including the new Princess Cadence, Alicorns. They are a different kind of pony seeing that they are combinations of earth, pegasus, and Unicorn pony. Alicorns could also be like a more powerful and perhaps almost dead race seeing as we've been introduced to so few.

Its either that or there's more to the world Equestria is in, which I think there is.


what I want...is a damn map of Equestria and the world its in. It'd be nice to have an idea of how everything is layed out, especially cities that are only mentioned a little bit of, like Phillydelphia, etc.

Also I'm pretty sure Equestria is just like either a continent or a really large country.

Speaking of Princess Cadence she must come from a different country. Or maybe a state/providence seeing how when Prussia existed there were multiple princes that rule certain parts of land.
