I'm so excited to learn how to do this! I've colored once, but I don't think it turned out as well as I wanted it to. It'll be nice to try this out!  Thank you!

Edit: It only lets me use black... I have the color picked and it only paints black. What's going on?

The mode of the manga panel you are coloring may be grayscale Selene. You can change the mode by going to Image > Mode and change the mode from grayscale to RPG color. I hope this helps!

Oh crap, that's right! You have to set the pic in RGB or then it'll all be grayscale and we don't want that.

How do I set it in RGB?

So when we set the brush in this mode, we can color over the lines with out it covering them up?

 Edit: i think I'm missing a step, after adding a layer, how do i mulitply? becuase i did not do this and when i colored it covered the lines

okay, this is what i was able to do, from your guide. ^^  it was so easy compared to how i use to do it

Hey the bucket fill didn't work. IT only tinted everything the color I wanted. Did I do something wrong? Added layer, moved it between the other two, set it to over lay, and picked a color, then bucket filled it.

 My background kind of did that, I'm hoping being able to make it darker in some cases,
