Dark Tower Series by Stephen King Empty

Has anyone read them?  I'm on book four and it is a wild ride so far.  Just curious if any of ya'll have compared this writing style to his normal writing of horror.  While The Dark Tower series is a fantasy series I don't know how it compares to his other horror books.
