Appearance: 
Rei's most outstanding is her stunning beauty. Her features, described as "sharp" and "aristocratic", along with her commanding yet elegant presentation, made Luna entertain the thought that she could be the Moon Princess. Her long, straight black hair and dark purplish eyes make quite the impressive contrast with her pale, smooth skin. She's neither tall nor short and her figure is slender, with soft curves.
She wears a wide variety of clothes, ranging from tradicional miko robes to trendy modern clothes, through the uniform of the T*A Academy. No matter what she is wearing, however, she always looks prim and proper, without a single trace of disorder neither in her hair and attire nor in her behaviour... that is, unless someone manages to tick her off.

Personality:
Rei is a passionate and determinated young woman who gives her all in everything she sets herself to achieve. She does not do half-hearted attempts, whether at singing or at fighting evil, and expects the same of everyone around her. As a result, she can come off as demanding and bossy, and frequently clashes with the lazy and easygoing Usagi. 
While quick to act, she's not actually impulsive but rather decisive, choosing what she considers to be the best course of action and following through with it instead of endlessly weighing all the possibilities. However, she isn't very communicative with her decisions and tends to keep her thoughts to herself, which combined with her habit of pushing people away and dealing with her problems all on her own can have serious consequences. Luckily, experience has shown her this is not always the best attitude and that she can always rely on her friends to support her.
Due to her upbringing at a Shinto shrine, spirituality has always been a fundamental part of Rei's life, even moreso with the advent of her psychic powers. In spite of the ostracism she had to face, her ever-lengthening list of plans for the future, and her secret life as a Sailor Senshi; she has never abandoned her role as a miko of Hikawa Shrine.

 Spiritual Awareness: Even when not transformed, Rei is capable of detecting (mostly) evil energies and presences, receiving premonitions and interacting with spirits.
 Shinto Techniques: Rei is able to channel her spiritual abilities through Shinto practices.
 Musical Aptitude: Rei has been shown to be talented at singing, playing musical instruments and composing songs.
 Archery: In part due to her duties as a miko, Rei is an expert archer. 

 
History:
Rei was born to Risa and Takashi Hino. When she was very young, her mother died of an unspecified illness and her father, too busy with his political career, was unable to take care of her. As a result, she ended up living with her maternal grandfather at Hikawa Shrine on Sandai Hill, where she started to show psychic abilities that she channeled and refined through Shinto practices such as fire reading and meditation. At some point after that, she started to attend T*A Private Academy for Girls, where her psychic abilities gave her a more favorable reputation than the one she had at her neighbourhood. But Hino Rei was not just the psychic daughter of a politician. In fact, she was much more than that.
In her previous life, she had been known as Princess Mars, a Sailor Senshi at the service of the Silver Millenium and one of the bodyguards of Princess Serenity. She lost her life in the battle against the Dark Kingdom and was reincarnated on Earth by the power of Queen Serenity.
During the resurgence of the Dark Kingdom, an encounter with a youma caused her nature as a Senshi to be revealed and she transformed into Sailor Mars, Guardian of War and Soldier of Flame and Passion. Since then, she has fought alongside Sailor Moon and her fellow Senshi through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, always determined to protect her Princess and the glorious future she's fated to create.

Senshi Fuku:
 Sailor Mars first costume consisted of a short-sleeved white leotard with a red, short pleated skirt, a red collar with one white stripe, a purple bow with a red orb on her chest and another bow, this time red, on the lower back. She wore red high-heels and white elbow-length gloves with red trim. Her jewellery consisted of five-pointed red stars as earrings, a plain red choker and a golden tiara with a red gem at its center.
‎Super Sailor Mars' costume incorporated some changes to the basic design, such as the back bow being lenghtened, the center of the front bow turning into a heart, her earrings becoming six-pointed stars and a five-pointed golden star being attached to the center of her choker.
 Eternal Sailor Mars' costume was very different from its predecessor. The skirt had now two layers, each a different shade of red. The iconic red high-heels were replaced by knee-high white boots with a red V-shaped trim and a golden five-pointed star at the top. She now had a belt consisting of two thin red ribbons held into place by a golden star at the front of her waist and by her waist bow (now smaller and a lighter red) at the back. Her gloves lengthened to reach her upper arms, while her shoulder pads became large, round, translucent red puffs held into place by red cuffs. Her front brooch, earrings and tiara-gem became red five-pointed stars, while her choker takes a V-shape. (Manga only).

 Akuryo Taisan: Throws an ofuda at an opponent in order to incapacitate them or cleanse them of evil influences
Fire Soul: Sailor Mars shoots a fireball from her fingertips
Fire Soul Bird: She throws an ofuda in front of her and then shoots a fireball at it, which takes the shape of a bird and attacks the enemy. 
‎Burning Mandala: Sailor Mars creates a circle of fire which then divides into eight smaller rings that fly towards the enemy.
 Mars Snake Fire: Mars creates a snake out of fire and sends it towards her enemies (Manga only).
 ‎Mars Flame Sniper: Sailor Mars summons a fiery bow and arrow, then fires the arrow towards the enemy.

Question, is this profile based on manga Mars only, and only her Silver Millennium incarnation?

Also, which canon did you take Fire Heel Drop from? I have never heard it mentioned before.

It's mostly manga and a bit of Crystal, except for Fire Heel Drop, which is an attack from one of the videogames which I really liked when I was researching her attacks and decided to include.

And yes, it is her Silver Millenium incarnation. Should I make it explicit in some section of the profile??

The videogames in which Fire Heel Drop appears are Sailor Moon S: Jougai Rantou!? Shuyaku Soudatsusen and Sailor Moon SuperS: Zenin Sanka!! Shuyaku Soudatsusen
