The known universe is engaged in war, downtrodden citizens of planets suffering under the yoke of tyranny from the Lunar Empire pooling resources to form a Rebel Alliance and fight back. Princess Minako of Venus serves as both a member of the Imperial Senate and is secretly an operative for the Rebel Alliance. Darth Selene, a powerful practitioner of the ancient Sith way that utilizes the Dark side of a mysterious power known as "The Force", has been tasked with crushing the Rebel Alliance to ensure the continued reign of the Lunar Empire. She works alongside Grand Moffs Kaiou and Tenou, the Governors of the Imperial Outland Regions, to retaliate after the surprise attack from the rebels. Princess Minako obtains the plans for the SILENCE GLAIVE, the Empire's rumored deadly weapon, but manages to hide this data in a droid, L0-N4. During her capture, she arranges for the droids L0-N4 and 4RT3M15 to escape, sending them to another planet where she hopes to engage aid for the Rebel Alliance from a Jedi Master her father once spoke of, Plu-to Meiou.
On a distant desert planet, the young Usagi Moonwalker lives with her aunt and uncle on a moisture farm. Her uncle purchases a pair of new droids, once of whom plays a suspicious message when Usagi is cleaning them. These two droids are L0-N4 and 4RT3M15, and this planet is where Plu-to Meiou supposedly lives. When L0-N4 escapes, seeking out this mysterious figure, Usagi and 4RT3M15 must track down the mischievous little droid. "Old Setsuna", a reclusive hermit, saves the girl from an attack by Youma Raiders. In the conversation that follows, Setsuna reveals herself to be Plu-to Meiou, practitioner of the ancient Jedi way that harnesses the Light side of "The Force". She reveals that she once knew Usagi's mother, a powerful Jedi killed by Darth Selene. Upon returning to the moisture farm, Usagi discovers that the Imperial forces have destroyed it. Usagi and Plu-to take the two droids and aim to escape with hired help from a smuggler, Mamoru Solo, and his first mate, Makoto.
Will they be able to aid the Rebel Alliance and defeat the Lunar Empire?
(It's
Star Wars: A New Hope with
Sailor Moon.)
Additional Information: Darth Selene suffered serious injuries and was rebuilt by the Lunar Empire. Her suit is not intended for concealment, but to protect and support her damaged body, now more cyborg than human. Her affinity with The Force is unparalleled, and she has spent years honing her abilities. She can use her training as a Sith to cause physical harm and to learn information, among other things. Her faithful service under the tutelage of the Empress has made Darth Selene one of the most visible symbols of the Lunar Empire. She is feared, rightfully so, across many galaxies.
Darth Selene reveres the Empress and has willingly risked her life many times to support the great cause of unification and peace that her Master intends under the Lunar Empire.
The blinding golden glow of her lightsaber terrifies many. It is her primary weapon in combat, although many underestimate her Force abilities and find themselves the less fortunate, and dead, for it.
Many details of her history prior to her support of the Lunar Empire are murky, but it is known to the inner circle that she once fought as a Jedi before joining the more powerful Dark side.
RP Sample: The alabaster figure strode down the corridor of the space station, each footfall echoing in the chamber. Crew members and Sailortroopers parted around her form, skirting back down connecting hallways to avoid the woman in white. When her boots pounded this stead pace, they knew better than to interrupt the fist of the Empire from her task. It was particularly good that they chose not to delay her in this moment, for she headed towards the throne room on an Imperial summons of the utmost import.
The doors opened automatically, sliding smoothly into the walls to admit her, and sealing firmly when she had passed within. In the dark chamber, the sensors in her helmet's visor silently adjusted to allow an uninterrupted view of the ceremonial space. She saw the familiar robed form resting at the back of the room. Her path followed the carpet that muffled her footsteps, and soon the armored woman knelt respectfully before the Empress.
"
What is thy bidding, my Master?" spoke the electronically-enhanced voice, somewhere in the alto range but laced with something like static.
"
Those meddlesome Rebels managed to get the better of us, this time," replied the shrouded, shadowy ruler. "
I've sent the Kaiou and Tenou to deal with the situation, but there is a restlessness in the Force. I presume you have felt it?"
At this, the apprentice nodded. It was very recent that she had noticed something amiss. For the most part, the Lunar Empire had brought order to many galaxies, but there were still a few that resisted. They did not understand the peacefuless of unity. ITt was something Darth Selene understood, for the Empress had taught her pupil well. Although what she sensed was mild, it could fester and create more serious discord if it were not addressed. Although the two Grand Moffs would be able to handle Imperial soldiers, this separate task clearly called for Darth Selene's particular skills.
She could already tell
where she needed to go.
How strange, that it would be so close to a place she had once called home...
