| General Crossover Profile - Harry Potter:
Character Name: Usagi TsukinoGender: Female Age: 13 Character Image: When she wears the Hogwarts school uniform, Usagi has solid black where most students have their house colours. For example, her tie is solid black, the trim on her sweater vest is solid black, and the lining on her robe is solid black. Where other students have their house crest, she will sometimes have no crest and sometimes have the Hogwarts school crest. Personality Traits: Cheerful, friendly, enthusiastic, caring, lazy, whiny, sometimes jealous, and easily feels lonely. Storyline Specific Information: [Relaxed] Usagi Tsukino and the Lunar Prophecy: Once upon a time, the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry took a stand against the ultimate evil. A group that consisted of mostly Gryffindor students managed to save the wizarding world from the most dangerous wizard it had ever known. But now, years later, a new threat loomed in the horizon. This time, a single Hogwarts house wasn’t going to be enough to save the world. This time, it would require all four to stand united. Unbeknownst to the students, one of the teachers at the school had found a darkness entity slumbering deep underground in a cave near the school. Always been a witch who's attracted to the darker side of magic, Professor Beryl answered the plea to free the evil in exchange for the promise of power. The darkness called itself Metalia, and she was still weak as of now. She needed a power source to be truly awakened... A new Chosen One legend was born. A prophecy spoke of a girl with a dormant power lying inside her, the only power in the world that was strong enough to eradicate the most dangerous evil ever seen since He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. But that power was not awakened yet. It was not even whole yet. The prophecy said that it was divided into seven pieces and scattered across the realm, and whichever side managed to gather them all first would have the balance tipped in their favor. Can the good guys find these seven pieces before the bad guys do, awaken their savior, and win the war? The race for the seven Rainbow Crystals is on… In this storyline, Usagi is a student of Hogwarts with no apparent magical ability. How does a non-magical student attend a school for wizardry? When the faculty members suspect you might be the Chosen One... Additional Information: The Tsukino family has been part of the wizarding world for generations. It was a shock to Ikuko and Kenji when their eldest child, Usagi, displayed no magical abilities: a squib. They expected the same for their second child, Shingo, but his inherited abilities were clear even when he was still young. The family has done their best to support both children on their separate paths, although this is sometimes difficult due to the general treatment of people in the wizarding world who lack power--like Usagi. Her parents have done their best to protect and love her. She attends a public muggle school and spends a lot of time with both her muggle friends and her wizard friends. Usagi's bright and cheerful nature even helps disarm some of the more judgmental in the wizarding world--it's hard to hate her if you know her. It was a surprise and an honor to receive an acceptance letter to Hogwarts at age 13. It happened in a blur after Usagi and her parents were visiting Shingo and became involved in a strange incident. She knows that attending is somehow related to that, but she hasn't exactly asked a lot of questions. The bubbly teenager is too happy living her dream to wonder how she got there! Hogwarts is even harder that muggle school for Usagi, as she's unable to participate in the active magic aspects of certain classes AND wasn't sorted into one of the four houses, but she seems somewhat oblivious to the other students' perceptions of her. She is unaware of both the prophecy and the possibility that she might be the "Chosen One." Hogwarts Student Information House: Unsorted Year: Third Pet: V-babe, a transforming rabbit! (This creature sometimes looks like a fat albino rabbit with white fur and pink eyes... and sometimes it looks like a man's fancy black silk top hat. It doesn't speak, so Usagi hasn't learned much about it yet, but others are suspicious that it may have magical ability beyond just the hat trick.) When her younger brother Shingo went off to Hogwarts, Usagi was intensely envious of his new barn owl, named Chanela. She begged her parents for a pet of her own, but they would not allow it. Her excitement of her own enrollment involved--among many other things--getting her own pet! Initially the young lady was torn between the choice of an owl or a cat, but when a transforming rabbit took a liking to her, her heart was won. Magical Items: Usagi cannot use magic, so initially she does not have the magical items typical of a 3rd year or younger. She does generally seem to have a lot of wizard candy with her... RP Sample: This was what Usagi had been waiting for her entire life: A chance to attend the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She could still remember how she felt when she first saw Shingo's letter, two years after she had not gotten her own. But now... that was different! She had her own letter, specially written and addressed to her by the headmaster! She was going to be a witch... kind of! She wasn't really going to be a witch because she couldn't use magic but she was going to be sort-of a witch because she was now in school with witches! If only she had gotten up on time. The blonde whirled around her dorm room like a tiny hurricane, pulling on her uniform and searching desperately for her left shoe. Cuddled up near her bed, looking like a fat cloud, V-babe blinked at her sleepily and yawned. "Ohhhh, I wish you could help me like an owl!" she begged the transforming rabbit, who promptly fell back to sleep in response. Soon, but not soon enough, she slooooooowly opened the door of her first class, praying that no one noticed her tardiness. This was not to be. "Miss Usagi!" the teacher called, placing a stern hand on her hip and shaking back a volume of wavy auburn hair. "Is this the best way to make a first impression?!" Usagi grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of her head, wanting to curl up into her uniform robe and pretend to be a shadow. She eyed the teacher with an awkward smile, trying to flutter her lashes and inspire forgiveness. This, also, was not to be. "Go stand in the hallway until I call you back inside!" Miss Haruna commanded.
- Star Wars:
Character Name: Usagi Moonwalker Gender: Female Age: 19 Character Image:She usually wears a loose white tunic with a leather belt over sand-coloured pants and knee-high boots of the same hue. Personality Traits: Cheerful, friendly, enthusiastic, caring, lazy, whiny, sometimes jealous, and easily feels lonely. Storyline Specific Information:[Relaxed] That's No MoonA long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Lunar Empire.
During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the SILENCE GLAIVE, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.
Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Minako races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy.... The known universe is engaged in war, downtrodden citizens of planets suffering under the yoke of tyranny from the Lunar Empire pooling resources to form a Rebel Alliance and fight back. Princess Minako of Venus serves as both a member of the Imperial Senate and is secretly an operative for the Rebel Alliance. Darth Selene, a powerful practitioner of the ancient Sith way that utilizes the Dark side of a mysterious power known as "The Force", has been tasked with crushing the Rebel Alliance to ensure the continued reign of the Lunar Empire. She works alongside Grand Moffs Kaiou and Tenou, the Governors of the Imperial Outland Regions, to retaliate after the surprise attack from the rebels. Princess Minako obtains the plans for the SILENCE GLAIVE, the Empire's rumored deadly weapon, but manages to hide this data in a droid, L0-N4. During her capture, she arranges for the droids L0-N4 and 4RT3M15 to escape, sending them to another planet where she hopes to engage aid for the Rebel Alliance from a Jedi Master her father once spoke of, Plu-to Meiou. On a distant desert planet, the young Usagi Moonwalker lives with her aunt and uncle on a moisture farm. Her uncle purchases a pair of new droids, once of whom plays a suspicious message when Usagi is cleaning them. These two droids are L0-N4 and 4RT3M15, and this planet is where Plu-to Meiou supposedly lives. When L0-N4 escapes, seeking out this mysterious figure, Usagi and 4RT3M15 must track down the mischievous little droid. "Old Setsuna", a reclusive hermit, saves the girl from an attack by Youma Raiders. In the conversation that follows, Setsuna reveals herself to be Plu-to Meiou, practitioner of the ancient Jedi way that harnesses the Light side of "The Force". She reveals that she once knew Usagi's mother, a powerful Jedi killed by Darth Selene. Upon returning to the moisture farm, Usagi discovers that the Imperial forces have destroyed it. Usagi and Plu-to take the two droids and aim to escape with hired help from a smuggler, Mamoru Solo, and his first mate, Makoto. Will they be able to aid the Rebel Alliance and defeat the Lunar Empire? (It's Star Wars: A New Hope with Sailor Moon.) Additional Information: Usagi Moonwalker is an orphan who lived with her aunt and uncle on the desert planet Tatooine. Her aunt and uncle ran a moisture farm, which Usagi helped with. Her uncle refused to tell her much about her mother. She once heard that the woman was a navigator on a spice freighter, although this is something that her uncle refers to with scorn and disdain. Usagi wishes she knew more about her past. She hates the dull repetition of her life. Her friends have all moved on, most of whom are going off to the Academy. Usagi wants to do this, as well, but her uncle insists that she is needed on the farm. Every year, they claim she'll be allowed to leave, and every year they change their minds. "Old Setsuna", actually the Jedi master Plu-to Meiou, gives Usagi her mother's lightsaber, an elegant weapon of pink light with a golden handle. Usagi is extremely sensitive to The Force, but she has never tried to use it. She will need training to learn to accept and use this great power. She learns from Plu-to that her mother wasn't a navigator—her mother fought in the great wars. It is very interesting to Usagi to be close to someone who actually knew her mother, and this is a topic she actively wants to know more about. Usagi dreams of being a pilot; she loves driving and flying. She often gets in trouble for wasting time "monkeying around" instead of doing her chores and other work. It's hard for her to keep her focus concentrated on the moisture farm when she knows there's so much beyond the twin sunrise of her horizon. Despite this, she initially refuses Setsuna's offer to deliver the message contained in L0-N4 to the Rebel Alliance. She feels a sense of duty to her family. When she finds that they have been murdered by Imperial troops, however, it is clear that the adventure she always dreamed of is about to become her reality... and it may not be as glamorous as she expected. RP Sample: Usagi sighed, wiping her forehead and staring off, beyond the fields of evaporators, towards the slowly-sinking twin spheres that drooped down towards the horizon. She let the wrench in her grimy hand fall, sinking into the sand below her feet. She knew it wouldn't get lost. It was as stuck on this miserable ball of dust as she was. "Uncle Kenji! Aunt Ikuko!" the blonde called, her pigtails trailing behind her excited form. "I got one! The new Academy applications are available!"
Her aunt smiled as she looked up from where she was setting the dining table, wiping hands momentarily on the green apron. "That's great news, Usagi." The woman's voice sounded as mild as ever.
The look on her uncle's face, however, did not imply that any of this was great news. He pushed his glasses up his nose and shook the pages of the newspaper, but he didn't look up. His mouth was set in a firm, disapproving line, and his eyebrows deeply furrowed his brow. Usagi stood there, silent, until he finally had to speak.
"So, you're going to run off and leave us to manage the harvest."
Usagi tasted dust in her mouth, as though she had reached down and chewed the hard earth packed outside of their curved house. She remembered another scene so similar to this one. When she replied, she felt like she was echoing a rehearsed line from a play.
"But you've got plenty of droids for this year. I stayed behind for the harvest when Yumiko left last year."
Was that exactly what she had said on this day one year prior, only with a different former friend's name?
"It's just one more season. You know we can't do it without you, Usagi. You can apply for the Academy next year."She scoffed, kicking a pile of sand with the toe of her boot. Next year—that was a time that never came. There was no such thing attending the Academy next year. She'd be stuck here, slowly drying up, like all the barren ground spread out from this place. With a sigh, she picked up her tools and started to pack them back up. She had to be home for dinner, after all. It's not like she had anywhere else to go.
- Sword Art Online:
Character Name: Usagi TsukinoGender: Female Age: 14 Character Image: Personality Traits: Cheerful, friendly, enthusiastic, caring, lazy, whiny, sometimes jealous, and easily feels lonely. Storyline Specific Information:[Relaxed] Sailor Art OnlineIt is the year 2015, and finally the world's most anticipated MMORPG, Sailor Art Online, has just been released. Thousands of players from all over the world are excited to enter the Silver Millennium, an artificial world covered in monsters, weapons, unique scenery, and most importantly, adventure. The game is activated using the Nerve Gear, a virtual reality helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain. On the day of the game's release, Usagi, along with citizens all over the world, slip into their Nerve Gear and enter the astonishing world of the Silver Millennium. But unknown to them, the person behind the Silver Millennium has other plans for them. While in the game, the players realize that the log out button has been removed from their menus, and they are unable to leave the game. This causes panic all throughout the game. Players are taken by surprise when a bell rings, summoning them all to the main city in the game. Once all players have assembled, a strange figure shrouded in dark clouds appears, telling them that they are all stuck in the game until they beat all 100 floors of the game's main dungeon: D Point. The figure also reveals that if the players try to remove their Nerve Gear, or if someone in the outside world removes it, the Gear's microwave transceivers will fry the player's brain and kill them. Additionally, if they die in the game, they die in real life. This news sends the players in the Silver Millennium into complete chaos, all fearful for their life. Usagi decide to fight with the people trying to clear the game, but there are huge risks to making such an attempt. Who will make it to the 100th floor, and what will be lost along the way? Additional Information: She never could have imagined that her love of video games could get her into so much trouble. Usagi is a below-average middle school student in a very average middle-class Japanese family. Her bright and outgoing personality, combined with her cheerful disposition, draws others to her. She can be a little bit of a coward and a cry-baby at times, as she has never known hardship. (Her family is loving, she gets along with other children, she is treated well in school despite being under-performing, she doesn't have to work or worry about money, and she has not suffered loss.) However, Usagi has a pure and strong heart. She may not have been tested much in her current life, but her heart will be something she relies on in SAO. The Nerve Gear she wore to access SAO on that fateful day was not her own. Her younger brother, Shingo, saved up for this new and highly-anticipated video game, but on the release day he was not able to log in due to preparations for his elementary school's cultural festival. Usagi, curious about this new game (and slightly jealous that her brother had managed his money better than she could), decided to log in and take a look. The unexpected and dismal turn of events inside the game awakened something unfamiliar in Usagi. How could they be so cruel? Normally, Usagi would run away from things that scared her, but hearing that everyone was in danger almost made her want to join the fight to win the game. A visit from a strange character, apparently an NPC, calling herself "Luna" gave Usagi the nudge she needed to start a team to clear the game. Now she is trapped in a world she is not prepared for, separated from the comfortable life she led before, but surrounded by new friends and determined to reach D Point. RP Sample: Even in a video game, she still couldn't manage to wake up on time. The blonde dashed through the city, white and marble passing her in a blur. She didn't couldn't stop and appreciate how beautifully this enchanted place had been rendered--not right now, at least. The long whine "Mamaaaaa, why didn't you wake me?!" formed on her lips, but died before she could breathe life into the words. She couldn't blame her mother in this place. She thought of that loving smile as Mama turned to greet her when she walked into the kitchen in the mornings. Breakfast would be laid out on the table, perfect as usual. School lunches, packed and wrapped, sat nearby--just waiting to be carried to their destinations. Until now, Usagi hadn't given much thought to all of the hard work that must have gone into every single day. How early did Mama have to get up to make sure that the rest of the family would have an easy start to their days? The tears pricked in Usagi's eyes, stinging and sharp. Had she thanked her enough? Did Mama understand how much she meant? How much she kept the family together? It had been so simple to overlook, until it was gone. Would she ever get the chance to tell her mother just how much Usagi loved her? SAO Avatar Information Avatar Name: Sailor Serenity Avatar Appearance:Class: Light Mage Weapons: Usagi begins without any weapons, but as a Mage she has the ability to use wands. She eventually finds a variety of wands. She can only keep 1 wand in her inventory at a time. Moonlight Stick - 1st wand - A pale pink wand topped with a large golden crescent moon. Cutie Moon Rod - 2nd wand - A slightly longer pale pink wand with a large red orb at the end. A golden crescent moon wraps around the orb. There are gold wings beneath the orb and a small golden crown at the tip of the wand. Spiral Heart Moon Rod - 3rd wand - A pale pink wand of roughly the same length as the previous wand, with a red heart banded in gold decorating the active end. There is a gold bow beneath the base of the heart. At the center of the heart is a white oval jewel. Atop the heart is a golden crown. Kaleido Moon Scope - 4th wand - This wand has a large red heart-shaped handle. Above the handle is a golden circle with a round pink gemstone at the center. Two iridescent wings emerge from either side of the golden circle. A crown sits above the circle, and the main pale pink length of the wand extends from the crown. There is a gold flower adorning the tip of the wand with a large pink pearl at the center. Eternal Tiare - 5th wand - This wand is slightly longer than the previous wands. It has a white staff with a round red finial at the end. The top of the wand has a very large round red gemstone set inside a golden heart shape. A golden band wraps vertically around the gemstone, perpendicular to the heart shape, and another golden band wraps horizontally around the gemstone and heart shape. A red lotus-shaped crystal is affixed to the top. There are large red wings below the golden heart. Skills & Powers: Light Element: Usagi creates astonishing bursts of light that clear away weakened enemies. The light that she produces is restorative, rather than destructive--an oddity in the Sailor Art Online game mechanic framework. She is initially able to reflect this light from her tiara, but learns to control it with wands. At a low level, she can light dark environments (such as certain dungeons). At a higher level, often exhausting to Usagi, she can heal and restore allies. Acrobatics: In her daily life, Usagi is extremely uncoordinated. During her time in Sailor Art Online, she spends a fair amount of time training to improve her ability to jump, leap, turn, and twist to a higher degree. (Unfortunately, she is far from adept at this skill and others often excel beyond her ability.) Familiar Communication: Usagi is approached by a talking cat, calling herself "Luna," who appears to be an NPC. She insists that Usagi must reach D Point and complete the game. Although Usagi is initially resistant, Luna provides a constant stream of tutorials and advice that make her feel more confident playing SAO. She eventually agrees to gather teammates and try to clear the game. Elemental Augmentation: Usagi is able to channel energy and abilities from other Sailor Art Online players. She can use this to boost her own powers or to create combined attacks.
- Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE:
Character Name: Princess Usagi in the role of Sakura Gender: Female Age and Date of Birth: 14, June 30 Used Canons: Sailor Moon and Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, incorporating elements from manga and anime of both series. Appearance: Princess Usagi's exuberance for life is visible through her physical appearance. She is fairly short, standing at only 150cm (roughly 4'11"), with an average build and shapely form. Her skin is a bright peachy-pink with rosy cheeks. Her eyes are a clear cerulean blue. They always reflect Usagi's enthusiasm and hope, particularly as she never shies from making direct eye contact with others. Her facial expression is usually happy and carefree. Her smile has been described as "to rival the sun", and it is one of the many things her subjects adore about her.
Her abundant hair is a bright golden hue. Her signature hairstyle is one of the most recognized things about her. She wears her long hair pulled up in two high pigtails, topped with round twisted buns. This style has caused other characters to refer to her as "odango atama" ("dumpling head"), referring to the round shape of sweet rice cake desserts. Even in this style, her slightly-curled pigtails are long enough to reach her knees. Usagi's center-parted bangs are cut short, just about eyebrow length, and they curl inward, framing the center of her forehead. She sometimes has a few curled tendrils of blonde hair escaping in front of each ear.
When connected to her powers, a golden crescent moon mark glows at the center of her forehead, perfectly surrounded by the curve of her bangs.
Usagi loves fashion and clothing. She likes girly outfits, bright colours, pastels, and anything with a bunny on it. She sometimes wears pink lipstick, but doesn't often wear other cosmetics. She likes jewelry, especially anything sparkly or shiny.
As Princess Usagi, she wears a white strapless top with a floor-length wide over-skirt above gathered harem pants. Her garment is made of a soft, translucent fabric with a slight violet tint. The skirt falls into many small pleats and folds, leaving a ruffled edge. There are two noticeable layers to the over-skirt—one that reaches the floor and an upper layer of roughly calf-length. The over-skirt is open in the front, revealing poofy white harem pants that sit high on the ankles and low at the waist. Her bodice begins with a large scalloped edge formed by chain of overlapping gold circles approximately three inches high. There are additional layers of gold beading and embroidery below the circles, and the bodice ends at the bottom of her rib cage, exposing her stomach. The over-skirt seems to be tied on with a large bow with ruffled ends that nearly touch the floor. This bow is just slightly darker than the white dress, usually looking more violet, and sometimes seems to be semi-sheer. Her round white sleeves are not attached to the dress—instead, they seem to "sit" on Princess Usagi's shoulders, sometimes just below the top curve of the shoulder. These are shaped like layered and swirled shells, with a short row of half-crescents that curves upward on the outward edge. Her shoes are simple white flats, and she wears a golden beaded bracelet on her right ankle. Her earrings are pearl studs with two twists of golden curls drooping down. She sometimes wears a gold beaded bracelet; other times, no additional jewelry. In her hair, above her bangs, are two barrettes consisting of three pearls, slightly graduated in size, with the largest pearl farthest from the center of her head. In this form, the golden crescent moon on her forehead is visible. She sometimes wears a large, white hooded cloak in an attempt to "disguise" herself.
Personality: Princess Usagi possesses an unrivaled purity of heart. Her outward demeanor is friendly and cheerful. Although she often needs to be dragged out of bed—a chronic over-sleeper—she greets each day with enthusiasm and excitement. Usagi looks on the bright side of life in nearly every situation. There is nearly always a spring in her step and a smile on her face. Her people love this about their Princess—she brings them joy and hope.
Usagi lacks a level of reservedness that keeps most people from interfering with others. Usagi loves to be included and always seeks to make everyone feel involved. She has no hesitation about approaching people she does not know. She sees no problem with inserting herself into an event that she wasn't invited to. In her eyes, everyone is a potential friend if only she could get to know them. Sometimes others are taken aback by her candidness and lack of boundaries, but her kindhearted nature often wins them over.
No-one describes her as someone who carefully weighs the pros and cons of a situation before acting. Usagi relies on her heart and her feelings. She can be quick to react with anger or fear, but that knee-jerk reaction is often instantly forgotten. For Usagi, arguing is more playful than antagonistic. She voices her opinion when she feels as though she's being teased or mocked, but she doesn't need an apology to forgive anyone for their actions or words.
Emotionally-driven, she cares about how others are feeling. Usagi never misses an opportunity to cheer up a friend (or even a stranger). She never hesitates to lend a shoulder to cry on, although she'd rather put a smile back on that person's face. Her compassion extends beyond friends and strangers: even those who appear to be enemies are deserving of care and love. She reaches out a hand to even those who seem hopelessly beyond redemption.
Usagi believes in love. All of the forms of love, not only romantic. She believes in her friends, and they believe in her, and this provides her with the most powerful strength imaginable. She wants to save everyone so that everyone can be happy.
Her idealistic focus puts her at odds with others. This is not a deterrent for Usagi. She trusts others unreservedly, although she has been warned against this kind of openness and vulnerability numerous times. Even if everyone else said she was wrong, she would be sad that they didn't agree with her, but she would not change her mind. She can be wishy-washy about minor decisions (which sundae to get—strawberry or chocolate?) but when it comes to the choices that impact people's lives, Usagi knows what she wants to do: protect everyone.
One of her greatest weaknesses is laziness. Usagi does not apply herself to her schoolwork or royal training, and she avoids anything that involves "work" at all. She likes to sleep late and lay around, not learn to master accomplishments. She does not train as a princess or do much studying unless forced to by her friends. Usagi wants to enjoy herself whenever possible—being productive just isn't fun.
Usagi struggles with jealousy. She is used to being coddled within her family, so when she has to share attention it feels hard for her. She often feels conflicted when doubting herself. Even cheerful people feel sad, and when Usagi feels truly unhappy she doesn't always know how to express it. Sometimes she holds it in for too long, trying not to burden anyone else with her insecurities. She might burst into tears if she drops an ice cream cone when out with friends, but that is not the same feeling as wondering if she can save friends who are in danger. The deeper worries often fester; it can take a lot of effort to make Usagi admit how she feels.
As a social person with many loved ones, nothing crushes Usagi's spirit as much as isolation. Feeling alone—even if she isn't physically alone—is practically a death sentence. She needs her friends by her side. When they are gone, she feels as though she is missing pieces of her own heart. That is why she will do anything to protect the ones she loves, even sacrificing herself. Life means nothing to Usagi if it doesn't include the people she cares about. She would rather have them go on without her than be forced to do the same.
Unfortunately, having lost her memories, Princess Usagi reverts to a catatonic state. As she slowly regains feathers, even her personality is hazy and disoriented. Her memories play an important role in the person she has become, and without them she doesn't feel like she knows herself. Her brightness and playfulness is still there, but it has been dampened by what she has lost.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: ☽ Princess Usagi has an innate purity and hopefulness that seems to attract other people to her. Even people who think they want to be alone or initially dislike her personality find themselves drawn into her orbit and typically find that they can't keep her out of their hearts. ☽ She has extremely good luck, sometimes referred to as "a favored daughter of the gods." This seems to be related to an overall mysterious power that dwells within Usagi. Whatever it is inside of her that is so powerful, it attracts both good things and evil things to her. ☽ Usagi can see ghosts and spirits, and sometimes hears voices of these unseen forces. This is not something she is particularly aware of, as she has tried to avoid anything "scary" for so long that she has lied to herself about what she sees/hears when no one else observes the same thing. ☽ Also, Usagi sometimes receives visions of the future or experiences brief trances.
History: Princess Usagi is the beloved daughter of the Moon Kingdom, where she lives with her sister, the reigning Queen of their country after their mother's death. (Their father died many years ago, shortly after Usagi was born.) Her sister is an excellent fighter and strategist, and she works closely with the High Priest to ensure prosperity for the country. As a child, Usagi meets young Mamoru when he comes to their country with his father, who plans to conduct a study of the mysterious ruins in the desert. They become fast friends, and she conceals her extreme disappointment as best as she can when he leaves.
Seven years later, he returns, this time to continue his father's research on the ruins after the man's untimely passing. Usagi is ecstatic that Mamoru has returned—she plans to confess her feelings to him.
Other Noteworthy Facts: ☽ Personality merges back towards her usual self as more feathers are collected. ☽ Cannot remember Mamoru when her feathers are collected, as he sacrificed her memories of him to the Dimensional Witch. Any attempt to have Usagi remember Mamoru will fail and may result in temporary short-term memory loss even of the attempt. ☽ Has super cute clothes in every world they visit. Storyline Specific Information: Will be updated when Storyline submitted. RP Sample: Seven years. Seven entire years. 84 months. Approximately 2555 days. She pulled the cloak closer around her body, trying to block out her fears even moreso than trying to disguise her appearance. She had thought about him every single day for those seven years. Usagi felt that tightness in her chest, and swallowed the lump in her throat. Last time, he left before she really understood. This time, it would be different. This time, she had something important to tell him.
Her guess was right—the works at the dig site meant that he was there, and she stumbled upon the boy as he returned home. They chatted, falling into that familiar ease, about his work at the ruins and how much it meant to him.
I want to tell you how much you mean to me.
He was fixated on continuing his father's work, and she didn't know how to find the words. She told him that she thought of him all the time, asking if he ever thought of her, and he responded so quickly that she almost said it right then and there. The words formed on her lips as the girl blushed a soft pink, but before she could make her statement the dreaded castle bells echoed loudly, summoning her home. Maybe her sister knew that she was here, meeting with him. She was always trying to interfere, that Luna!
Her walk back to the palace was uneventful, although she was stopped and greeted by so many of their citizens. After all, this was a peaceful country. The princess loved the people her family protected, and they loved her for her sweetness. She had nothing to worry about out on the streets. Inside the castle, however, it was a different matter.
"U-sa-gi!" chided a familiar voice. The blonde halted in mid-step from where she attempted to creep behind the pillars, laughing nervously and scratching the back of her head.
"I'm home, Queen Luna," came the delayed greeting.
"Were you hanging out with that hole-digging twerp again?" mocked the dark-haired monarch from where she sat primly on the throne.
Instantly, Usagi felt the colour rise to her face, tinting even the tips of her ears.
"He's not a twerp and his name is Mamoru!" the princess insisted, riled up. Luna always knew just what to say to make her angry! Big sisters could be so frustrating!
"'Twerp' is good enough for a brat like him," the older woman scoffed.
Princess Usagi rushed forward, her blue eyes blazing.
"He's not a brat! He lives alone and takes care of himself and he works hard! You should respect him!" she yelled.
"Ha! Respect! A brat's a brat!" retorted Luna, tossing a lock of her long, wavy hair. Somehow she still managed to look dignified despite the clearly immature behavior.
A gentle cough interrupted any further bickering, and Princess Usagi turned around with glee to see High Priest Artemis standing in the doorway. He carried a bundle of papers, evidently related to the excavation, and seemed to have finished his usual priestly duties. Usagi bounded over towards the more soft-spoken of the pair. She had always liked Artemis; with his gentle demeanor, he seemed exactly like what a big brother should be. When she was younger, she had a bit of a crush on him—he was just so nice!
"They're making great progress on the dig," he informed her, his eyes looking out towards the distant horizon. They could see the curved peaks of the ruins even at night, glimmering above the sand.
"Soon they'll be done!" Usagi cried gleefully, thinking of how much more time she'd have with her friend if he was no longer needed on a daily basis.
"No," interjected Luna, although the tone of her voice was somber. "There's much more underground. I've given them permission to continue exploring the new path they've uncovered."
Then she turned from the window, eyes gleaming as she looked at her little sister with a smirk.
"I think it will keep the twerp busy for a long, long, long, long, looooong time."
Princess Usagi tried to cover up the pout she felt, narrowing her eyes at the Queen in defiance.
"Well... okay! That's great! Mamoru loves ruins, history, and exploring just like his father! If he finds something new, that will make him the happiest man alive! And that's just fine with me!" she insisted, but she could feel the waver creeping up into her voice and begin to feel tears stinging the corners of her eyes. No, she wasn't going to let Luna see her cry! Usagi turned, running deep into the palace, leaving Luna and Artemis standing near the window where the distant ruins waited.
The night air felt calm and welcoming, with a soft breeze that lifted her hair. She leaned out on the balcony, staring off into the night. Usagi could feel her anger receding—her big sister was so good at getting her all worked up! But of course, she still loved her. They both loved each other. Luna had done so much for everyone, not just Usagi. When their mother had died, she stepped in as the Queen, providing governance and protection for their country.
Clear blue eyes looked out across the sand, settling on the ruins. It reminded her of a buried crescent moon, almost like the symbol of her country. The clouds shifted, and a beam of moonlight seemed to illuminate the place. Yes, Mamoru would be very happy if there were more to the ruins. He loved to learn just as much as his father had. She wanted to hear him tell her more about what he was doing out there with the excavation teams—there was a brightness in his eyes when he spoke of the things he felt passionate about. She loved it.
I love him.
Princess Usagi sighed. She hadn't been able to tell him. It was so important, and she knew she believed in it, but she couldn't say it. Maybe... maybe tomorrow she could bring him lunch, and then they could have some time together, and then... and then she could tell him. Yes, that would be an excellent plan! Her mind whirled with ideas of what she could ask the castle chefs to pack—she wasn't much use in the kitchen herself.
A sudden tone rang out, and she turned towards it before she even realized what she had heard. Out there, in the desert, it echoed again. So clear. When it sounded once more, she felt struck by the clarity and harmony. It seemed to be coming from the ruins. She didn't know that she had reached out her hand. She didn't realize that her body floated down, hair drifting around her form, and that her eyes would have seemed blank to another observer. She felt like someone was calling her...
The symbols that flashed through her mind seemed unfamiliar and perfectly familiar. Destruction. Traveling. Wings. Strangers. Family. Mamoru. Mamoru looking at her, screaming, pounding on something, but she couldn't hear him. What was he saying? What was he saying? She tried to read his lips but it all blurred into nothing.
And then it was over.
"What... what was that?" Usagi whispered, looking out over the sand. "Mamoru?"
She was alone again. The clouds had slid back, obscuring the glow of the moon. Only the curved edges of the ruins stood there, silent, as her sole companion this night.

| I'm so excited to see how you handle this character in the RP! Storyline Specific Information: Could you add a little more detail regarding Usagi's feelings about being the 'Chosen One' and her friendship with the girls? Magical Items: So, does Usagi not have a wand? This is fine if she doesn't, I just want to check and be sure Love the RP Sample! |

Love the RP Sample! As far as I am aware, she does not know that she is the "Chosen One" and has not met the other girls. She does not have a wand. She would be unable to use it. |

| Could you at least mention that Usagi is the Chosen One, but doesn't know it yet? Then you should be good to go |

| Thank you! I just wanted a little more of a direct confirmation that she is the Chosen One, since that's such an important aspect of her Approved! |

| What types of descriptions would you like? Physical descriptions? Since she doesn't use named attacks in this universe, they only serve as power upgrades--probably some kind of multiplier effect on her light magic usage. |

| Oh okay! I was just wanting brief physical descriptions, so you don't have to go too much into detail |
