I have another question, sorry! Since we're probably going to do the quizzes again (?), how many questions do you want us to have and in what format (fill-in the blank? T/F? multiple choice? short answer) should it be?

You need to have 10 questions, all short answers, that are based on the information you've provided in your threads. They are required to get 8 out of 10 right to receive a stamp. Here is an example if needed.

Just a reminder that the World Fair starts on the 15th. If you haven't started working on your threads, you should be doing so now.

Yes, please do start working on them if you haven't already! I would like a check in from everyone who's signed up to participate! Let me know where you're at with your 'booth'. Are you basically all set for the event to launch? Are you still working on it, but know you'll have it finished before the 16th? Do you need help? Let me know! ^^

I have three threads done. I still am working on 2-3 more plus the quiz. I think I should be done by the 15th unless something comes up outside of the internet. XD Formatting the threads after typing them up is what has been taking me the longest. :/

Last year people made the quiz its own thread. As for the games, when I looked at the examples from last year, I saw them being included in specific threads whenever they were relevant to the topic being discussed. Otherwise they had their own threads. Hope this helps!

Out of curiosity, how many games/activities are people planning to have for their country/era?

I'm going to be doing a general history/background thread, fun things to do/places to go/etc, maybe one about food (I'm not sure, but I do love food so xD),  and maybe an interesting facts or something fun like that xD I haven't fully decided yet. For a game besides the quiz, I'm thinking of having some type of activity for people to participate in, but I haven't figured out what I want to do for that yet xD I'm still trying to figure that part out. But since it's only a week long event, I think only one activity is fine or even just doing the quiz and leaving it at that would be okay if you wanted.

In total, I'll have my welcome thread, a thread on landmarks, one on mythology, and a quiz thread.

when do threads need to be done? I would work now but I'm getting really sleepy.

As stated in the first post of the thread and a few times within this thread, the event starts on the 16th, this Friday. So you need to have your threads ready by the 15th, or at least most of them ready by then. You don't have to post all of them on the launch day if you don't want. Just remember it's only a week long event.

Out of curiosity how torturous should I be with my decoding activity? XD I'm already making it so that you have to decode certain words to know what the paragraphs are trying to tell you about the history of the topic being discussed. XD I'm just not sure how many words I should do that to. XD

Overall I would work on formatting the information in your threads a bit more? The sports one looks fine but your food thread has different fonts and some of the pictures are a off-centered so I would work on fixing that up because all your threads should be formatted somewhat similarly. I would look at Andalusite's threads for examples on formatting or I could go in and edit some of your threads for you if you would like that.

As far as information, everything is looking pretty good! I do think it wouldn't hurt if you added more info in the main thread about Colordo and the sports thread. For instance, do you have an personal pictures of places you've taken in your state? You could add those or talk about your own city. For the sports section you could add some info about any famous players for the teams you listed.

I've also put stars by those who have started working on your threads.

I second what Mars said! I think it would be cool if you included some famous players from the teams you listed, and it would also be great if you shared some of your own Colorado pictures or experiences with us!
