| My guess is that she'd startle Hotaru and accidentally awaken her powers, and those powers are kind of unstable. If she caused Hotaru's powers to go out of control, there'd be a heavy chance that Kaolinite would have ended up in the crossfire. It would have been too risky. |

| Are you talking about Episode 24 of S? (Or Episode 113 if you don't split the Seasons...) - Spoilers Below...:
In that one, Kaolinite is just newly revealed as having been revived after being killed in a prior episode. I don't remember if she retains her memories from her previous life (including the memory of the Senshi's identities). I'd have to watch more episodes again...
Maybe someone else has seen this season recently and can give more insight? |

| I really had to wrack my brain actually, before finding the episode. I kept thinking of images from Crystal and the manga when Chibiusa first goes into Hotaru's place XD. |
