EDIT: I changed the title to apply to Serenity's whole family since we also got on the topic of who her mother is and where she's from. But the big question is still; who is Serenity's father? Where is he from? what was he like? Where could he be, etc. She's not like Lin from Avatar where her mother could just Earthbend her to life :lolz: and she's not Wonder Woman who was made of clay.

So does anyone have any theories on who Serenity's father could be? I personally don't really have any (at the moment), but I would love to read and see what you guys think.

I always thought of him as a mysterious warrior possibly killed in battle leaving Serenity widowed.

Do you think of him as someone from the Moon? Or Earth? The sun? Somewhere completely different?

I tend to think hes from one of the other planets...not the moon though.

I think her father has been mentioned in other theories on here, but usually about Queen Serenity or the Silver Crystal.

As for my opinion... ((*coughcough* jeez, it's like I have a fanfic about all my headcanons)) I think her father is from another system, just as it is hinted Queen Serenity is from another system. I think they fell in love, she became pregnant just before something terrible happened, and Serenity had to run away. She made a deal at the Galaxy Cauldron so that her daughter could share her starseed, and settled on the Moon.

There are hints of this? do share please? XD

Nehelenia hinted in SuperS that she followed Serenity to this system - they were both 'travelers'

The Cosmos Guardian shows that Queen Serenity came to the cauldron with a tiny shell that had a shine similar to Usagi's; I took this to mean that it was the embryo/fetus within Queen Serenity, the proto-Princess Serenity, just because a shell is a being without a star seed, and star seeds could enter a being at any time before or at birth (imo); and I proposed that some sort of deal was made because why else would two beings (Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity) share a Star Seed?

To compensate for one sailor crystal belonging to two senshi, I theorized that the cauldron allowed Serenity to activate a dormant Sailor Crystal within a dead planet (the moon in this case), and so the Silver Crystal has the power of two celestial bodies, which would explain why it is so powerful. ((I think I made a theory board about teh power of the silver crystal where I spewed this, lol XD; that board directly turned into that fanfic)).

Once though, I did see a headcanon about Serenity's father being corrupted and then turned in to Wiseman.

Any thoughts on that?

it would give an even stronger reason for him to be against the extended long lifespans that NeoQueen Serenity's reign entailed... or would it? I suppose it would depend on how corrupt Chaos had made him?

... But didn't it say somewhere that Wiseman was a true embodiment of Chaos itself? Maybe? I might be getting caught up with fanknowledge rather than manga canon.

Perhaps...her father, going on he was corrupt and turned into Wiseman, was locked away for all those years because he was corrupt and broke free?

This sort of reminds me of the kings of LOTR becoming corrupt from the ring.

I often thought that maybe Serenity was a miracle child... or maybe their was a father that died in war. But they what about her grandparents?! :?:

Kyra, you're not getting caught up in headcanons. XD Chaos did say all the enemies Sailor Moon fought were embodiments of Chaos or something like that.essentially, they were all a part of Chaos.

and if Serenity's father was Wiseman, then what about the weird kinda romantic thing between Wicked Lady and Wiseman? that'd be her grandfather people! XD

Maybe she was born because of the power of the Silver Crystal, but who knows. Naoko didn't address the matter of who her father was that I know of.

Okay Chibiusa having odd crushes and whatnot isn't really a stretch. I mean look at her and Mamoru. Okay yeah having a crush on a family member as a little kid is probably normal because they don't know any better...but Chibiusa had a full on crush on Mamoru and even made it a point to kiss him on the lips as Wicked/Black Lady, and not in the usual family kiss way either.

Maybe Serenity was born of moon dust/rocks then. Shoot. XD maybe she's more like Wonder Woman after all lol

Hopefully the theories and ideas keep rolling though interesting ideas come up.

She didn't mention a father at all; but as the queen and princess weren't clones of each other but had distinct differences (not even including the queen had fairy wings while the princess didn't), there had to be another set of genes factored into the equation.

How long did Queen Serenity live? That is another factor... was she like 50 when stuff went down or 500?

If she lived to be older, maybe Serenity has multiple grandpas XD

Or all of her grandparents were long past dead, having died on Serenity's planet when it exploded.

Queen Serenity does give an air of old wisdom so maybe she is a couple of hundred years old. The moon people do have a long life spam.

Also: for the record, what comes from Naoko is golden to me; I would never dispute her.

Mostly cause I firmly believe she would think her answers through and have a reason for everything that is both fantastic and has an air of science to it, and does t goagainst anything kn her mange but instead enforces it.
