So we have the setting. We have the alter egos (costumes are w.i. p.).

We okay with general past outline? Was there anything in particular you'd like to change?

Belt senshi are family, others separate. Should some know each other? Like bellatrix and saiph are in the same class, while rigel betelgeuse and mintaka took dance lessons together when they were kids? Since we're mirroring classic, are the monsters collecting energy to reawaken Scorpion, or is scorpion already awake and just trying ti find the crystal to carry out his world domination bid? Why dies he want withthe world? Just power? What's his motivation? ... is scorpion a he or a she? Or just a group name?

Scorpion could be a he, since often the "big boss" villains were women in the original series...lets shake it up and have it a man/demon/thing corrupted by an evil being (thats perhaps an offshoot of Chaos or something, like Metallia) and seeking the power of the Genesis crystal. Oh oh!! Maybe he could be like Beryl and collecting energy to awaken the embodiment of that evil being thing, whatever we decide it is.

As far as the senshi, I think its more interesting when they are people who haven't met each other, but upon circumstances...since Senshi are in a sense "drawn" to each other, they just happen to meet. Though I like the idea of possibly one of them knowing another in early childhood, but then never seeing each other again until now or something.

I also like the idea from the first season of Pretty Cure where they are two classmates who were never friends and would have never interacted with each other had they not become the Precure. However, their personalities are vastly different and at times they clash with each other because they just don't know each other yet. It could make for some good dynamics here.

So... quick and dirty remake via senshi creator using star colors... I added gloves just because it helps when someone's thrown down in battle ^^' scraped palms are no laughing matter. The hairstyles are completely off, but, otherwise, what other changes would you like to see made? ((Also, I really liked the hairstyle you drew with the full outfit shot - the beads and everything look really neat ^^))



I would've made the skirts see-through, as Hitomi suggested earlier, but with the V-cut skirt it just looks weird ('cause the see-through skirts are round-topped...). I kept the stripes on the boots to stand for their being the three that make up the belt (EDIT: Just now changed it to one stripe at the bottom using Venus's ankle stripe instead of the boot option AND changed the gloves to have one colored stripe instead of three, to mirror the boots and bibs), and just reversed the colors on 'Tak and 'Lam's outfits to show off their twin-ish-ness. I had to throw in bows or the booby-ness looked super weird, x_x


I'm just thinking now that the dollmaker is unnecessary and we could just show your outfit up for people to color in xD

o_o and reading back through the name meaning, "belt" and "pearl", I think it'd be neat to have attacks that involve a lasso (for belt, haha!) or a string of pearls, or like this gigantic pearl hurricane or something. ^^' but that's up to their creators. ... XD I still think I'll throw random attack-type ideas out there. Like, as Saiph means 'sword', she should have a sword attack. ._. Bellatrix is for a female amazon warrior, so she should have... female... amazon... powers i'mthinkingwonderwomannow.

My only other thing is that their skin will be darker, being that they have an Eskimo heritage. I haven't decided which specific group of indiginous people I'll pick (eskimo is a term used for about 2 different peoples). However, I've got a super awesome idea to make them all rich, like how Michiru and Haruka were. I think their parents (which I don't know if their mother should have married a white man...or have them both eskimo) are into the oil business that is up in Alaska. That's how they are super rich. However, since their parents are very busy with her, the twins went to live with the oldest who is in college. They don't have to work because their parents help pay for everything, school, food, clothes, rent, whatever. However, the old, who is a bit bitter at her parents, works so she buys things on her own (however, she still takes the money because she knows she wouldn't be able to dedicate her time to school AND being a Senshi AND working a job without it).

Hmmm... totally liking that idea.

• Sailor Betelgeuse (Orange-Red) - it's seriously a huge huge star. If placed where the sun is now, Jupiter would be on its surface. ... but red always screams "fire."

• Sailor Saiph - Saiph means "Sword of the Giant".
  
• Sailor Alnitak - possible twin -- a triple star and is associated with the colors topaz yellow, light purple and grey. ... means "girdle" haha, we're talking about a belt.
  
• Sailor Alnilam - possible twin -- white star, central position, means "string of pearls" as it decorates the center of the belt.
  
• Sailor Mintaka -- double star, brilliant white and pale violet. Means "the belt"

as Lam is white, I figured id just swap whatever colors we got from Tak to fill her in. Tan was light yellow, grey and purple, and as mintaka had purple, I went yellow and gray. ^^ and when you said original, did you mean the crystals or the silver circles of the first draft?

The scorpion... by the tail of the scorpion is the heart of the milky way galaxy... and the heart of the scorpion is the red giant Antares, the enemy of Ares, the warrior god... what if the bad guy is attempting to gather energy that he might awaken the mythical super warrior Antares, who will, during the galactic alignment in Dec 2012, will channel the immense energy of the sun and galactic venter to obtain the ability to destroy everything?

Or, forget the galactic center. Scorpion wants to awaken Antares, the evil one, to once and for all destroy the Orion Nebula. To do that, he needs to gather energy. When he learns of the Genesis crystals rebirth, he becomes desperate to have it because only it could stop the summoned giant Antares.

Blab, maybe. I'm having issues with motives. Why does scorpion need energy? What does he have against the princess and court of Orion? Sure, the genesis crystal is super powerful, for good and for evil, but what evil does he wish to commit? Beryl wanted revenge, metalia? Who knows? Dead moon wanted revenge. Pharaoh 90 wanted... er... to be on earth... dead moon circus, again, revenge. Galaxia wanted notoriety and to be more powerful and rule the galaxy.

Do we go.that route? Scorpion wants the crystal for its power, a weapon with which to bring planets under his reign simply for the ego boost and satisfaction of.being a ruler? Perhaps he awakened without realizing the senshi and princess had been reborn, so he started his new Antares awakening plot and that galactic alignment and energy stealing operations would get him there. Wwheb the senshi rise to oppose him, he doesn't really care -- kill them. Taketveir energy foe Antares. But when the crystals start appearing, he starts to worry, wanting ti collect them for their energy but suspecting their purpose. When the genesis crystal and princess emerge, he freaks, knowing that the crystal is both his key and his potential downfall. He turns to trying to catch it at all costs, still keeping Antares as backup.

Then it us time - December 2012 (their time) and the alignment completes his summons. Antares appears, and while the princess weilds the crystal to defeat the giant, the senshi are either dead, or some of them are and the others are fighting furiously against the scorpion.

I think keep him uncomplicated for the sake of this RPG. I didn't save the dolls I was making...I should go and make more and actually do that. XD I like how you keep tying things into the stars and mythology. You're so creative. ^_^

I have an idea, and by my skimming of this topic, I do not think this was proposed yet.

Here it goes.

If the villain is going to be Scorpian, why not have Scorpion's main minions be stars within that constellation. Like Queen Beryl has main male minions.....

Well, if we're going to go off of star names within the constellation (Minus the big baddie Antares he's trying to summon...) I've listed them below with a quick note on meanings if I could find them... also suggested gender.

• Graffias - Head of Scorpion; Lilac hue. Also called "Crown of the Forehead", according to Robson it causes 'extreme melevolence, mercilessness, fiendishness, repulsiveness, malice, theft, crime, pestilence and contagious diseases.' It's capable of bestowing great honor and power, but benefits are easily corrupted and abused and attended by danger and violence. Credited with giving the ability to do research, especially into things of a hidden or secret nature but they warn of an indication of mass destruction in mundane maps.
  In this, I see Graffias as of either gender, wears liliac, and is in charge of Scorpion's research department, whether researching ways to summon Antares or researching the identities of the Orion Senshi. S/He's all of the terribleness listed above, has two pet dogs, "Danger" and "Violence" ((see what I did there? xD)). I think s/he should do the main research behind Antares, as s/he's associated with mass destruction. I also think that s/he should be the leader of the minions, as Kunzite lead the Shitennou.
  
  
• Isidis - Right Claw of Scorpion; Also has Mars/Saturn nature; appears to bestow the same destructive qualities as Antares and Graffias, but with few of the possible benefits. Associated with imprisonment and shame, disgrace and assults. Capacity for gain but attended by qualities of selfishness, envy, violence, sickness and domestic disharmony. If this star promotes to high office, there is a real danger of subsequent disgrace.
  So... he's Graffias's right hand man. He carries out the imprisonments and punishments, often shaming his captives, and, when not reigned in by Graffias, causes disharmony among the other generals of Scorpion. If ever he is promoted (Say Scorpion offs Graffias) it will be the downfall of the whole operation.
  
  
• Lesath - Sting of Scorpion; means "The sting". Has Nature of Mercury/Mars, association with a quick mind, a stinging wit and capacity for verbal attack. Traditionally unfortunate and unlucky, reputed to bestow danger, violence, immorality and an affiliation with poisons.
  So S/He's unlucky, but incredibly quick thinking, and enjoys using poison to do away with enemies. Quick to attack and deals with problems head-on.
  
  
• Aculeus AND Acumen- Sting of Scorpion; twins. Both with nature of Mars and Moon. Marked reputation for blindness (physical, emotional, and psychological), sickness and disease. Their position illustrates a propensity for attack, both as victim and perpetrator, whilst their lack of definition argues for emphasis on hidden and sustained energies, rather than a direct or immediate impact (which would be more characteristic of the influence of Lesath)
  So, twins (fraternal or identical), with one of them being physically blind, the other is blind to anything but their immediate future (can't think ahead/see the bigger picture/see through possible downfalls to schemes). Attacks the people around the senshi, and when directly attacks them they inflict disease upon them, from fevers to hallucinations to actual temporary blindness. However, their attacks can be turned back upon them...

!! So, that was rather enlightening. I can easily see their personalities fully, and have a rough outline as to their purpose, roles, and when they would be introduced.

[1]The first villain they'd face would be Lesath, as s/he's quick to act and quick to think. S/he's a thorn in their side, but likes to get things done; however, unlucky her, they defeat her. This is the villain they're facing when the team comes together.

[2]After the defeat of Lesath, the Orion Senshi think that the whole thing is over, as no other enemies appear for quite some time. They think they've won. ... however, people all over their city are getting sick, and only when they catch the perpetrators, the Twins, do they realize that their battle with Scorpion was only just beginning.
The twins bide their time, attacking their friends and family, but on, let's say the second time they meet in battle (second just for expiatory purposes and simplicity) they, too, are defeated. ... during their little mini arc, some of the senshi get sick, of course, so there's that aspect, too.

[3]After that, Graffias, Scorpion's head thinker, while working on figuring out ways to collect energy to feed to Antares that they might summon him during the Alignment, rediscovers the signs that the Genesis Crystal and its princess guardian have also been reborn.
Now, again, the Genesis crystal could come straight from the princess, or could be hiding in some dark and undisturbed place; or it could have split itself and the seven rainbow crystals could be hiding, either within the town in every day objects, statues, etc., hiding in plain sight as decoration, or hiding within the seven Orion senshi themselves. I personally like the hiding-within-the-Orion-senshi idea, so I'mma write like that's the option we choose for the rest of this; however, it's super easy to change if general consensus wants it to just be the Genesis Crystal.
Graffias, still deep in research and planning, sends his right hand man - the terrifying Isidis-the-torturer - out to locate the ((seven rainbow crystals OR Genesis Crystal)).

So Isidis is their third opponent, hunting for the seven rainbow crystals that lie dormant in each of them ((He puts two-and-two together after hunting about 4 of them separately, then uses an attack on innocents to draw the senshi out and gets the other three out in the open all at once. ... but then dies, because the Rainbow Crystal awakenings unlock another power within the senshi it came from, and with all 7 of them with new power upgrades, he doesn't really stand a chance.)).

At the discovery of the first rainbow crystal, the guardians tell the senshi about their past and the possible implications of the crystals, mainly the reincarnation of the Genesis Crystal. As the crystal can be used for both good and evil, it was an imperative for them to find the missing Princess, so while Graffias is finding the crystals and sending Isidis out to get them, the senshi are desperately trying to find the princess before it's too late.

Only the princess can bring the seven rainbow crystals together to form the Genesis Crystal; and they find her only when Scorpius sends Graffias out after them.

[4]So Graffias is the final baddie, having finished his research on summoning Antares, with or without the Crystal. Via energy readings, he finds the princess before the senshi do, and attacks. The senshi come in, attempt to save her, but it's almost too late, when the princess suddenly and violently reawakens. In her princess form, the seven rainbow crystals free themselves yet again from the Orion senshi and hover before her. With a single thought, the Genesis Crystal is reborn in all of its glory.
As the princess is unable to use it in violent ways, it is her wish for peace that sets the crystal off. She wishes that it was over, that he wasn't attacking her or these kind-hearted strangers, that he would just disappear... and the crystal grants the wish. He vanishes; Graffias is defeated.

But just who is this princess? She is supposed to be the glue that holds their team together (perhaps several of the seven think differently, possibly forming two factions (like the inner/outer senshi)? If so, let's separate Mintaka from the twins, or one twin from the other, so it's not Belt senshi vs Body senshi, but a healthy mix of the two. Maybe split on age lines, for the understanding of the way the world works verses the idealism of younger girls?) but they don't know this princess. For her to be able to defeat Antares, they needed to trust her with all their hearts; only then would the Crystal fully activate.

So, they mess around with trust issues for a while...

[5]Scorpius is ready. He sends regular footmen after the princess to try to regain the crystal, but it fails. The Crystal was really only an ambition of Graffias, so he doesn't really care either way. The time comes, he summons Antares at the North Pole...

And the senshi appear there to stop him, their princess with them.

As the princess and crystal face off against Antares, the senshi battle Scorpius.

Hard battle, possible deaths before getting there, deaths while fighting, etc., but in the end Scorpion is dead, most of the senshi are dead, and the Princess uses the Genesis crystal to defeat Antares, but dies, too, in the attempt.

Now, whether she wishes correctly and the Genesis Crystal grants them with new life is up to how it goes. if they are reborn, whether they remember the strong friendships and understandings formed between them all is up in the air. .. Whether all the senshi are reborn, but their princess's life is the sacrifice for their rebirth, taking the Genesis Crystal with her into oblivion... that's also an option.

XD So I didn't know I'd be writing a story plot less than two hours after waking up this morning, lmao. ^_^ And all from writing villain descriptions... see? give me personality and motive and I'M GONE! =D

So... Thoughts? Sorry so long, I tend to get carried away ^^


Edit: Note: From the same site I got the personalities of the Villains from, I can also gain the personalities of a few of the Heroes. They're really basic, pretty much giving a strength and a weakness for all but Alnitak (I don't know why they skipped it...) if you want me to share them. It's super basic and gives people a place to start for creating their character, but I can see where that can take away the creative rights of the potential player, so I won't post them unless someone wants me to.

Maybe you could post a link to the site you are using that way those are interested have the choice to use it as a reference, but we aren't completely creating the characters either?

And wow, I like your story set up. XD Though I'm unsure of having it completely mimic the final battle of the SM anime series, but at the same time I don't mind it if you get what I mean? I think planning out the end seems like something that should come along from RPing, but then again I'm not hugely experienced when it comes to something like this.

I have been in an RPG that planned out the general course of events. It was unusual, but also it was the first RPG I knew of that actually finished the storyline before closing down. Exercise caution, because this is a multi-person interactive story, so things will probably change and not go as planned. But, having a general idea of the trajectory of the RPG is fine. Just expect things to change and don't have too much detail.
