| Roger!  ^^' I haven't been in too many roleplays, but I figured that if we have the villain's actions planned it'd be no big deal - we want roleplayers for the senshi, not necessarily the "general"-status villains; thus we are, but we are not, controlling the story via introducing key concepts and plans at points in time that is up to our choosing. What the senshi do wouldn't change when a villain shows up or what that villain does - they choose how they react. No matter how well the battle is going, the villains are general-status and can just portal away if they're too close to dying when their part of the story is incomplete. We would choose when to introduce the key points - the concept of the Rainbow Crystals and where they come from, thus when they appear; when to initiate the regaining of past-life memories and the princess; with the Lady being the princess, we control when the princess shows up, thus when the genesis crystal appears; we choose when Antares is summoned and have predetermined that only the Genesis Crystal can stop him -- I guess, in my mind, I'm not so much planning out the entire RP so much as planning out the behind-the-scenes part of it, the inner workings of the evil doers that the senshi will be facing. Kind of like placing and operating rides at a theme park ^^° To me, these are things that wouldn't change, no matter what the players do, so I thought it'd be okay to plan the heck out of this part to make sure all of our ducks are in a line, and that line is interesting enough to pay attention to XD x_x as for sharing the site, it's really too little information to make it worthwhile for each senshi. For example, they gave the most information about Betelgeuse and Rigel, and for Betelgeuse it boils down to "ample fortune and great honor; good at strategic planning, engineering, sharp wit; has a stormy and unpredictable reputation" .... and that's all. Rigel's worse: "quick to anger; bestows honor; benevolence; happiness; responsibility" @.@ so these two are kind of opposite the solar senshi - the red one's like Mercury with Makoto's reputation and the blue one's like Mars with a hint of Minako. Haha. Thinking of it that way, I'd actually rather not post it as someone could read the descriptions, analyze them the way I have, and we'd suddenly have an American Rei Hino as Sailor Rigel, and that's no fun! x.x ....though these descriptions would make for an interesting team XD Bellatrix is "particularly beneficial for women; can cause quarrels", Saiph is "fearless but intemperate" and I can see Bellatrix starting senshi drama soo easily and Saiph being in everyone's face and always willing to jump into the battles first. ^^' I'm only going to post those as no one has claimed those characters yet so the descriptions shouldn't cause anyone to waiver... And as for the final battle! =D I agree - let's see how things go! |

Well I mean if you insist… As ___ suggested, it was the Princess’s grandmother, Queen Artemis*, that the seven chose, and when they created the Genesis Crystal and gave it to her family, the Queen made an everlasting promise on the Crystal itself that her descendants would be unable to wield the power if they held evil within their hearts. From that point forward, the seven senshi of Orion pledged to protect their princess, and did so admirably. After her impressive reign and the deaths of those senshi, it was left up to the respective kingdoms to protect the new princess. After your births and awakenings, that responsibility passed to you.
Though each of you were still only children when you awakened, you were not sent to serve as protectors until your respective thirteenth birthdays. Once there, after meeting Princess ____, you came under our tutelage. We had our… differences in instruction, but when Scorpion came you weren’t really given a chance. In fear for your lives, the princess used the power of the Genesis Crystal to save you, not knowing then that Scorpion, too, would be saved and sent with all of you to her vision of a safe place and a safer future.
- List of senshi and guardians, with colors and properties:
SENSHI--
-Sailor Betelgeuse (Orange-Red) - strategic planning, engineering, sharp wit; has a stormy and unpredictable nature*
-Sailor Rigel (bright blue) - has a lot of 'mariner'-like nicknames. Water powers? - quick to anger; benevolence, happiness, responsibility, bestows honor*
-Sailor Bellatrix (yellow star) - name means 'right shoulder'; it's called the Amazon Star, or the Female Warrior. I think that lends itself nicely to the idea of a senshi. It's also known as the Heralder, as it marks the appearance of the brighter star Rigel. - particularly beneficial to women; can cause quarrels*
-Sailor Saiph - Saiph means "Sword of the Giant". - fearless but intemperate*
-Sailor Alnitak (topaz yellow, light purple, gray) - A twin. means "girdle" ((whip or lasso attacks?))
-Sailor Alnilam (white/pearl) - A twin. means "string of pearls" as it decorates the center of the belt.
-Sailor Mintaka (brilliant white and pale violet) - Means "the belt"
* denotes astrological implications of that particular star and could be used as a starting point for character personalities.
GUARDIANS--
-Bunny. Mauan, cursed to have bunny ears when taking human form.
-Sirius. Coronid, cursed to have dog ears when taking human form.

Modern-day setting: America. Suburbia (with a (small?) college/university(?)) - Plot:
The quick and dirty: The Genesis Crystal is a crystal containing the vast power of the Orion Nebula. It has the power to create and nurture, but also to obliterate and destroy, depending upon the heart of the person who wields it. It was created by the Seven Senshi of Orion and placed under the protection of the Orion Princess and her direct bloodline, who vowed that she and her descendants would only be able to use the crystal with good intentions, and would only be able to use the full power of the crystal when she has the full support of the seven senshi.
During the reign of the third Orion Princess, a great evil, Scorpion, challenged the senshi for the Crystal and, fearing her friends would be harmed, the Princess used it's powers to send them all to a safer place and time, where they were all reborn, including the evil Scorpion league.
To protect this generation, the Genesis Crystal split itself into Seven Crystals, one crystal for each Orion Senshi, hidden safely inside the unawakened girls.* ((unbeknownst to all))
Scorpion starts over, seeking evil. The guardians awaken the senshi so they could fulfill their destiny - to find their Princess and the Genesis Crystal and seal the evil Scorpion away, once and for all. For only with the true support and love of the senshi for their princess can the Crystal be used to its fullest and destroy the evil Scorpius and Antares.
+The princess is not a senshi.
- Major Villain and scheme:
Name of Scorpion/Scorpius. Tried to steal the Genesis Crystal in the past to further own objectives of power and domination; was sealed away and sent into the future onto Earth with Orion Senshi and Princess. Still seeking domination and power, unknowing the Genesis Crystal had been reborn as well, seeks to summon the great demon Antares, a giant with great power that will be under his complete control once summoned. Has 5 underlings (below).
Ultimate goal is to gather more power; is wary of the Genesis Crystal's power, puts most of his stock in Antares. Will be able to summon Antares in December 2012.
- Sub-villains, personalities / motives:
- Graffias - Head of Scorpion; Lilac hue. Also called "Crown of the Forehead", according to Robson it causes 'extreme melevolence, mercilessness, fiendishness, repulsiveness, malice, theft, crime, pestilence and contagious diseases.' It's capable of bestowing great honor and power, but benefits are easily corrupted and abused and attended by danger and violence. Credited with giving the ability to do research, especially into things of a hidden or secret nature but they warn of an indication of mass destruction in mundane maps.
In this, I see Graffias as of either gender, wears liliac, and is in charge of Scorpion's research department, whether researching ways to summon Antares or researching the identities of the Orion Senshi. S/He's all of the terribleness listed above, has two pet dogs, "Danger" and "Violence" ((see what I did there? xD)). I think s/he should do the main research behind Antares, as s/he's associated with mass destruction. I also think that s/he should be the leader of the minions, as Kunzite lead the Shitennou.
- Isidis - Right Claw of Scorpion; Also has Mars/Saturn nature; appears to bestow the same destructive qualities as Antares and Graffias, but with few of the possible benefits. Associated with imprisonment and shame, disgrace and assults. Capacity for gain but attended by qualities of selfishness, envy, violence, sickness and domestic disharmony. If this star promotes to high office, there is a real danger of subsequent disgrace.
So... he's Graffias's right hand man. He carries out the imprisonments and punishments, often shaming his captives, and, when not reigned in by Graffias, causes disharmony among the other generals of Scorpion. If ever he is promoted (Say Scorpion offs Graffias) it will be the downfall of the whole operation.
- Lesath - Sting of Scorpion; means "The sting". Has Nature of Mercury/Mars, association with a quick mind, a stinging wit and capacity for verbal attack. Traditionally unfortunate and unlucky, reputed to bestow danger, violence, immorality and an affiliation with poisons.
So S/He's unlucky, but incredibly quick thinking, and enjoys using poison to do away with enemies. Quick to attack and deals with problems head-on.
- Aculeus AND Acumen- Sting of Scorpion; twins. Both with nature of Mars and Moon. Marked reputation for blindness (physical, emotional, and psychological), sickness and disease. Their position illustrates a propensity for attack, both as victim and perpetrator, whilst their lack of definition argues for emphasis on hidden and sustained energies, rather than a direct or immediate impact (which would be more characteristic of the influence of Lesath)
So, twins (fraternal or identical), with one of them being physically blind, the other is blind to anything but their immediate future (can't think ahead/see the bigger picture/see through possible downfalls to schemes). Attacks the people around the senshi, and when directly attacks them they inflict disease upon them, from fevers to hallucinations to actual temporary blindness. However, their attacks can be turned back upon them...
- Loose evil-doer timeline:
1. The first villain they'd face would be Lesath, as s/he's quick to act and quick to think. S/he's a thorn in their side, but likes to get things done; however, unlucky her, they defeat her. This is the villain they're facing when the team comes together.2. After the defeat of Lesath, the Orion Senshi think that the whole thing is over, as no other enemies appear for quite some time. They think they've won. ... however, people all over their city are getting sick, and only when they catch the perpetrators, the Twins, do they realize that their battle with Scorpion was only just beginning. The twins bide their time, attacking their friends and family, but on, let's say the second time they meet in battle (second just for expiatory purposes and simplicity) they, too, are defeated. ... during their little mini arc, some of the senshi get sick, of course, so there's that aspect, too. 3. After that, Graffias, Scorpion's head thinker, while working on figuring out ways to collect energy to feed to Antares that they might summon him during the Alignment, rediscovers the signs that the Genesis Crystal and its princess guardian have also been reborn. Now, again, the Genesis crystal could come straight from the princess, or could be hiding in some dark and undisturbed place; or it could have split itself and the seven rainbow crystals could be hiding, either within the town in every day objects, statues, etc., hiding in plain sight as decoration, or hiding within the seven Orion senshi themselves. I personally like the hiding-within-the-Orion-senshi idea, so I'mma write like that's the option we choose for the rest of this; however, it's super easy to change if general consensus wants it to just be the Genesis Crystal.Graffias, still deep in research and planning, sends his right hand man - the terrifying Isidis-the-torturer - out to locate the ((seven rainbow crystals OR Genesis Crystal)).So Isidis is their third opponent, hunting for the seven rainbow crystals that lie dormant in each of them ((He puts two-and-two together after hunting about 4 of them separately, then uses an attack on innocents to draw the senshi out and gets the other three out in the open all at once. ... but then dies, because the Rainbow Crystal awakenings unlock another power within the senshi it came from, and with all 7 of them with new power upgrades, he doesn't really stand a chance.)). At the discovery of the first rainbow crystal, the guardians tell the senshi about their past and the possible implications of the crystals, mainly the reincarnation of the Genesis Crystal. As the crystal can be used for both good and evil, it was an imperative for them to find the missing Princess, so while Graffias is finding the crystals and sending Isidis out to get them, the senshi are desperately trying to find the princess before it's too late. Only the princess can bring the seven rainbow crystals together to form the Genesis Crystal; and they find her only when Scorpius sends Graffias out after them.4. So Graffias is the final baddie, having finished his research on summoning Antares, with or without the Crystal. Via energy readings, he finds the princess before the senshi do, and attacks. The senshi come in, attempt to save her, but it's almost too late, when the princess suddenly and violently reawakens. In her princess form, the seven rainbow crystals free themselves yet again from the Orion senshi and hover before her. With a single thought, the Genesis Crystal is reborn in all of its glory.As the princess is unable to use it in violent ways, it is her wish for peace that sets the crystal off. She wishes that it was over, that he wasn't attacking her or these kind-hearted strangers, that he would just disappear... and the crystal grants the wish. He vanishes; Graffias is defeated.But just who is this princess? She is supposed to be the glue that holds their team together (perhaps several of the seven think differently, possibly forming two factions (like the inner/outer senshi)? If so, let's separate Mintaka from the twins, or one twin from the other, so it's not Belt senshi vs Body senshi, but a healthy mix of the two. Maybe split on age lines, for the understanding of the way the world works verses the idealism of younger girls?) but they don't know this princess. For her to be able to defeat Antares, they needed to trust her with all their hearts; only then would the Crystal fully activate.So, they mess around with trust issues for a while...5. Scorpius is ready. He sends regular footmen after the princess to try to regain the crystal, but it fails. The Crystal was really only an ambition of Graffias, so he doesn't really care either way. The time comes, he summons Antares at the North Pole...And the senshi appear there to stop him, their princess with them. ....Now, whether she wishes correctly and the Genesis Crystal grants them with new life is up to how it goes. if they are reborn, whether they remember the strong friendships and understandings formed between them all is up in the air. .. Whether all the senshi are reborn, but their princess's life is the sacrifice for their rebirth, taking the Genesis Crystal with her into oblivion... that's also an option.
I think we've got a pretty good thing going. Now we can pick things apart, add things, or work on specific senshi awakenings. Though I like the idea of RPing each awakening, the finding of every senshi and the special bond formed by fledgling teams, I kinda agree with the Lady that it would save oodles of time if we started with all the senshi already awakened and knowing each other. ... unless we wanted to cut corners and save time by having multiple senshi awakenings at once. Like all belt senshi awaken at the same time, and do the Orion senshi in pairs or one, then three; then have a team meeting where they all are introduced and learn about what's going on. ... we could have them defeat the Lesath all together as a "getting to know you!" first 7-senshi battle. ?

| What if perhaps, the story starts "in media res" or in the middle of action and like its maybe their second fight together as a team or something like that.
And perhaps as we are RPing the characters, there are times where maybe they reflect on how they first became senshi. Small flash backs, or them having conversations to each other about it. Perhaps the Belt Senshi just met up with the Orion Senshi and they are telling each others stories over popcorn and soda. XD
Also, I guess I should start working on an indepth character profile for Alnitak and maybe some light ones for Lam and Mintaka since they are all sisters? I don't want to take anything away from a future RPer of the characters, but seeing as we haven't had any other input yet.. I'm inclined to want to create them together so at least they have some things that match up since they are family and all. XD |

| I think that's totally okay! We've had some interest on here in the sisters - perhaps someone else would like to officially take Alnilam or Mintaka and the two of you could discuss it in more detail? I think two characters each would be fine to claim, too, if no one else wanted to take the other twin or their sister. |

I was thinking that all the girls could know that they are senshi, but not know each other... however I think and epic battle where they all try to fight the same monster would be awesome >.> could potentially be very funny

So it starts out and they're all in their senshi forms, fighting Lesath. ((Out of the action, Bunny and Sirius give each other a grudging nod of 'Oh, you're here, too'))
The senshi defeat him(? or he escapes and comes back one last time) and then they're all "WHO ARE YOU?!" and meet at a secluded ice-cream parlor, waffle house, old-Chinese-food-restaurant-that-one-of-their-parents-owns, etc. and officially meet each other, possibly sharing what they know or telling everyone about how they awakened (each story has to have either Bunny or Sirius in it, of course ^^) and the meeting could last long into the night. Some don't share their stories, either because they're shy or don't trust the others as much as they could ((here's looking at you, Betelgeuse, or Mintaka? it'd be interesting if there wasn't great teamwork at the beginning, and would lay the way for further problems with the princess and the crystal later; but that's entirely up to the roleplayer. ... I might want to be a shell(? 'cause they're the outer layer of the constellation?) senshi. I haven't decided which 'cause they're all looking fun by their astrological descriptions xD)), but they generally end on a good note with nifty communicators. ... which one of them debunks by bringing out her cell phone and entering in everyone's numbers.

And I have an idea for their transformation items...
A silver stick with a (senshi's primary color) orb on top. On the orb is a (secondary colored) dot in the (corresponding position of following statment); if the constellation Orion were mapped on the orb, the (secondary colored) dot would correspond to the location of the star (their Star)

That sounds very interesting. I wonder if the belt senshi should have a different item? Also! Came up with the perfect names for the twins, Alnitak will be Aurora and Alnilam will be Dawn. Best part about it is that the name Aurora also means dawns...YES. PERFECTION. Totally a way to tie them together as twins. I was also reading up on names of the indigienous peoples of Alaska, and it seems like they often use older english sounding names or some are using more contemporary stuff or more common english names. And I'm thinking their last name will be very english sounding cause of their father. I'm also thinking they didn't grow up much in Alaska, its just part of the their heritage. The twins are a bit spoiled, while the older sister, not so much. What do you think? I sorta started on their profiles. I copied nad pasted the skeleton and put in their names. XD |

| I def want Alnitak... I wanted to see if anyone wanted Alnilam before I went ahead and took her, plus itd be fun to be able to interact with someone else as the twin. I'd like to see who else is interested before giving you a yes on that Lady. ^_^

I was thinking the twins to be high school aged, maybe Jr or Srs? Mintaka is in college, probably her sophomore year. So I say the twins would be around 16/17 and Mintaka would be 21? Is that right for Sophomore year? I was younger than most at that time so i get confused. XD Edit: I've also been imagining Mintaka to be a bit like a Setsuna character if you get what I mean? But thats just me. Its really up to you for how you want her to be. ^^ |

I've done a little bit of the twins (if you go up a bit in this thread, i posted some dolls from doll divine XD), but i left Mintaka open to whoever takes her, which seems to be you now.  Only things to keep in mind is that they have Native American heritage (Eskimo) from their mother's side. So they have darker skin and possibly darker hair. However, their father is white and is in the oil business, and I haven't decided what he may look like so you can kind of play around with their skin, hair, and eye color and we can go from there. Also, I was thinking they all live together. The twins go to a high school near the college, and Mintaka is the "responsible" adult in their relationship. The parents are rarely around due to being busy with their jobs. I haven't decided if the mother just works with their father with the oil business or what, but since he is in Oil, they are fairly well to do. Hence, the twins being a bit spoiled and are able to buy fairly fashionable clothes/shoes/accessories if they want. Edit: However, I imagine the twins try to make themselves look as different as possible. Alnilam, I think, dyes her hair lighter than her natural while Alnitak keeps it her natural brown color. While they are both sort of fashionable, Alnitak is more casual, jeans and tshirt kind of girl. Alnilam is a bit more feminine in her styles. I tried to make that apparently with the dolls I made. XD

| Ok, mine will be the age as me..... I think dark brown almost black hair would be nice... with a random teal streak. Her style can be sorta chilled and layed back. She is over her high school wealthy "i have everything phase" and wants people to know her for her, not the money side. |
