| Oooh, what if we expanded its powers still? I mean, it's the Genesis Crystal, the source of beginnings as well as endings. So it could destroy stars by halting their creation or making them explode, but it can also give a boost to newly forming stars to make them grow faster, and can extend stellar lifetimes.  ((MS Paint skillz, yo))

| Hey Kyra, its funny you started doing senshi designs because I started sketching out a fuku for Alnitak and character design for her last night too. ^^ Though I didn't have any reference cause I was in bed, but I was getting inspiration from Eskimo girls and that gave me the idea to maybe try to imitate Katara from Avatar. I always liked her overall physical design. |

| Could Alnitak and Alnilam be from a Twinception type case in their previous lives? Like in this life, they're just identical twins...
but in their last, they were identical cousins?
TWINCEPTION GOES LIKE THIS:
There were two princesses of Alnitak (We'll call them Tak1 and Tak2, with 1 being the older), and two princess of Alnilam (Similarly, Lam1 and Lam2). The oldest of each set of twins was to inherit the throne.
But then the twins met. And fell in love. Tak1+Lam2 and Tak2+Lam1. They moved into their respectful palaces, and the foursome ruled Alnitak and Alnilam.
AND THEN SOMETHING TOTALLY WEIRD HAPPENED. Tak1 and Tak2 became pregnant at around the same time and delivered within days of each other... and the babies were genetically identical. ((This could totally happen. The chances are COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY TINY, but it could still totally happen. I mean, whatever the children came out looking like, they'd be genetic siblings because their DNA is a mix of their parents, and their parents are identical. ... it's just a 1-in-a-million shot. ... and they made it.))
So you had the princess of Alnitak, daughter of Tak1 and Lam2.
And the princess of Alnilam, daughter of Tak2 and Lam1.
Genetically identical and born within days of each other, yet stemming from different sources so they hold different Sailor Crystals (we'll say it was from the older parent. ... though it would be kinda funny if it passed through the younger so that the Princess of Alnitak was the Senshi of Alnilam. haha.)

Um... I suppose it's plausible... I'm not sure if it would really matter in the story, sounds awesome, but also sounds like it make for a far more complicated character profile than needs to be for something I want to stay "fun" |

Should we now see how many people are interested in rping one of our Orion senshi, so that we can see how many of the seven we lack? I might take on a senshi as well as Sirius, but i don't know whom or if sirius will live with her or another, XD my fingers could be in so many threads and situations that way... |

Oh! Since its a girl power version, shall the discovery of the genesis crystal mirror the anime or the manga? I suppose our non-senshi princess could be in love with and cry over someone, but u also like the idea of hunting down the seven rainbow crystals, especially as there are seven primary stars in Orion and so are seven senshi protecting the princess XD. ... We could have one crystal per girl, hidden in places and situations that mirror the constellation alignment? When found and gathered together they combine to form the genesis crystal, and only the princess can use it because only the princess had command over and the complete loyalty of the senshi.
Plot point: crystal and princess found, but princess incapable of controlling it because one of the senshi doesn't completely believe in her. ? |

| Ok so, I want to start another thread that lists the outline of all the things we have agreed on so far and what characters we are looking for and whom we have filled. I want to keep this thread going to fill out the story line more and agree on things.
I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but my internet provider isn't able to get internet at my new place till the 13th of Feb, and we move in to the new place on the 3rd. That is ten days. I will still have internet on my phone, and at my soon to be old house until the 13th, I just don't know how long I will be there each day.

| Hmm... Who else to be.... I was thinking of grabbing the princess because she won't come in til much later and I'd hate for someone to get all excited about her only to wait in the wings... Id have fun with her XD
But I was also thinking of doing a senshi... And having three characters might be too many ^^'
Since your internet connection is shaky til after the 13th, do we want to set a semisolid start date or just let things work themselves in late February?
I would love to have as many positions as possible filled by then (advertising alll the times!!) and I think it might be possible... (And if positions aren't filled then ee could encourage multiple characters?) |

| There are 13 characters, 2 are filled leaving 11 options, and since the princess doesn't come in till later, I would be willing to play her. Her not being a senshi should make the character profile a little simpler. Honestly I don't anticipate having a large role as Bunny, since she IS a cat.. and I mostly just want to RP for fun, not for a serious intense story line..
also while I am thinking about it... to save time, I'm thinking it might be better to skip the RPing of the Senshi "discovering" themselves so to speak. So, all the senshi already know each other, or at least know that they are senshi... if that makes sense.. You guys have about two weeks to create a history >.> |

Well I mean if you insist… As ___ suggested, it was the Princess’s grandmother, Queen Artemis*, that the seven chose, and when they created the Genesis Crystal and gave it to her family, the Queen made an everlasting promise on the Crystal itself that her descendants would be unable to wield the power if they held evil within their hearts. From that point forward, the seven senshi of Orion pledged to protect their princess, and did so admirably. After her impressive reign and the deaths of those senshi, it was left up to the respective kingdoms to protect the new princess. After your births and awakenings, that responsibility passed to you.
Though each of you were still only children when you awakened, you were not sent to serve as protectors until your respective thirteenth birthdays. Once there, after meeting Princess ____, you came under our tutelage. We had our… differences in instruction, but when Scorpion came you weren’t really given a chance. In fear for your lives, the princess used the power of the Genesis Crystal to save you, not knowing then that Scorpion, too, would be saved and sent with all of you to her vision of a safe place and a safer future.

But… from the reappearance of the red and blue crystals… it seems as though the Genesis Crystal has divided itself in this new lifetime. Perhaps to further protect itself and the princess, effectively following her wish to keep everyone safe. But now that Scorpion has resurfaced we have no choice – the seven crystals must be found and brought together to reform the Genesis Crystal, and the princess must seal it away this time.
but that's only if we choose that route. it makes things a little more complicated, but could completely be used for character development (i.e., these crystals actually come out of the senshi, like the silver crystal came from Usagi. that way, people feel really powerful and involved AND it can surface around some character plot point for them) or it could just come from the surrounding area. ... or we could take the Tuxedo Mask route and have them actually find it [the Genesis Crystal, fully formed] in this museum under lock and key for being so fantastically beautiful and spine=chilling. |

Well I really wanted to go with the Eskimo heritage route. I was drawing a couple sketches and looking up pictures of Eskimo girls. Also getting some inspiration from Katara from Avatar. This all stems into her Senshi powers being from the aurora. And the natives called it the "Dance of the Spirits" according to Wiki...so I thought me wanting to combine my old Sailor Aurora otaku with Alnitak, it would fit rather well. Also, she's just got like heritage and stuff, so she'll live in wherever in America we decide this all takes place. Also I've decided her civilian name should be Aurora. And I'll come up with a reason why. XD |

Did you guys like the senshi outfits I threw together earlier? I wanted to keep it simple, yet different from Solar senshi. :/ It's not that big, really, but I wanted to get the style down because I wanted to throw that out there before people go creating outfits that are entirely different from the norm. With no princess, their fukus should be pretty much identical but for colors. Or, that was my general idea...
I was thinking that the sisters could be different from the 'outer' four and have the signification of the "Belt" senshi or something, if we wanted to have two separate groups going, with an adviser for each group (like Sirius for outer and Bunny for belt (Or whichever, he doesn't mind either way)). XD Or they could all be the same!
._. but if we could keep one thing from my original messing around, I want capes. Modoka's friend (I am really not good with names... you know, the blue one) made me want a cape so bad... |

Let's try to solidify the idea before opening a section for people to post profiles XD ((Just 'cause I hate writing a description and falling in love with an outfit only to have someone go "well, actually...." ( x_x) ))
So... senshi starter stories...
The sisters already know each other... we could have some sort of encounter with a Scorpion goon that awakens all three at once...
And then either they go around and just start collecting the others OR I was going to have Sirius find a girl when she was way younger and determine she was a senshi, but didn't awaken her 'cause there was no reason; but once Scorpion emerged he'd wake her up, and then they'd collect the other 4, then the two groups meet similar to an Inner vs Outer fashion.

What do you think their ages should be? Middle school or high school? Should they all be the same age, or should they scatter, with around equal amounts of girls the twins' age and then their older sister's age? |

| As for the sisters, I'm thinking high school for the twins and maybe university student for the older sister. The others I think should vary from high school - college. I only say this because I know most of us on here are either high school level and up and honestly i don't know what high school or middle school is like these days so it'd be hard for me to write a character when i'm not familiar enough with that age group. I'm more familiar with high school aged characters and up.
The three sisters I think could all be awakened at once. When maybe they are all attacked or something? I kinda like that.
And I haven't written any descriptions yet..just doodles. ^_^ |

The only reservation I have about college is that - well it would be a good motive for girls from all over the states to flock to - the dynamics of a college town differ significantly from a small- to medium-sized town. ((for some reason I was always envisioning a small rural city... probably because a lot of stuff happens in big cities and no one would look for something special in a city that prides itself on being home to 25000 people... But then, the bad things that go on wouldn't go unnoticed nearly as much in a small city. Hmm. upsides and downsides, upsides and downsides...)) And the stresses of high school differ from college with the family dynamic.
Perhaps ranging from senior in middle school to senior in high school? Maybe in a town big enough for two high schools? |

| I could argue that Sailor Moon itself was set in Tokyo...so I don't think we'd have a problem if it were to be set in a big city. And Setsuna was in college too and it worked! She just happened to be college in the same area. ^^ |
