I was actually in hot topic today and was going to buy the new sailor moon hobo bag but walked out disgusted. I hate how its made just like a badly done iron on or something.

not sure if this counts for hot topic merch too but a lot of merch (anime in general) are shipped from america to germany (also japan to germany) ..

Are the bags made by Great Eastern Animation too? Cause a majority of the new merch is being done by them, but I know the tshirts are made by Hybrid Apparel.

That seems to happen with every bag I've ever planned on buying from Great Eastern. The quality of the merch is just garbage. Totally skipped the wallet too because of it. I bought a better built one in the same style for $5 at Target. It's such a shame since the merch was totally better back during it's initial release.

Hm, I checked out the Sailor Moon wallet and it seemed good enough quality to me. see, I have a wallet that's the exact same style of the Sailor Moon one (not sure what company made it I got it as a gift) and its Hello Kitty. I've used this wallet since last May and it has yet to break or anything and I've stuffed the thing so full where I could barely close it at times. Its a great slim wallet. The Sailor Moon one seemed to be the exact same, material, design, etc. when I looked at it. So...I think I'll give it a try next time I go to the mall.

Also, I'll just put it out there, that at my work we sold some Zelda wallets in a similar style and I bought one...and I have yet to use it becuase it just is so crap compared to my Hello Kitty one. Its the similar slim style and all, but the material just doesn't feel as good quality as the one I own.

When I pick up the Sailor Moon wallet, I'll give a review on it in this thread. ^^

That's the one I checked against the wallet I bought and it's really flimsy and the credit card holders really papery and thin. I wasn't impressed for $18.

Yeah that's the one I saw and compared with my current wallet. It felt the same material wise and the inside was exactly the same. I only think its good because I'm assuming its pretty much just like my current wallet, which I like a lot and has stood up to a lot of abuse.

Nah, I guess its just a matter of opinion. Like I said, I'm only assuming its a good wallet since it seems to be the exact same as my current one. Who knows...it could turn out to be crappy like the Zelda wallet i bought (actually...no. That wallet just feels like crap and the inside feels like crap. At least the sailor moon wallet didn't feel like it could break after like a week of use... -_-)

I wish those t-shirts could come in a bit bigger sizes. I really want that Sailor Neptune one. T_T

What size do you need? I was worried about sizes since those types of tshirts tend to run small on me, but the X-large was fine for me and as long as you don't dry it, it shouldn't shrink (and mine have gotten dried cause of the bf and i think they're ok, maybe shrunk a little). Usually hot topic has plus sizes on their website, but i don't remember if they did for the SM shirts. :/

A plus size in the Neptune shirt was the equivalent of a size 13-15 juniors. I actually find that quite ridiculous as XL is normally 16-18. That was the site's idea of a plus size (XXL) was actually a large and no way in hell am I cramming myself in that. I could be wrong though. I might have have the XL and XXL mixed up.

A lot of my problem is my shoulder width and chest size. I'm broad and have big boobs and I have problems finding shirts. I usually stick to unisex/men's shirts because of it, so I'm a bit sad they couldn't do a Neptune shirt like that. Hell, I would have settled for the shirt done in woman's plus size (18+)!

Oh, I have big boobs too (36Gs!!) and I have a stomach and love handles that will stick out with the wrong shirt. So I totally feel you! The black Inners group shirt XL (maybe it was xxl? I dont remember and the shirt is lost in the laundry right now xD) fit me pretty good and I feel confident wearing it by itself without a blouse or something over it. The white Sailor Moon XL shirt, I wear under blouses since its so see through. I would recommend going to the store, adn even if they don't have the Neptune shirt, trying on one of the other shirts. I'm pretty positive I got the XL.... maybe the XXL. I can't remember now. I know i paid $25 for both shirts at the time. Also if you order it online, and it doesn't fit right, you should be able to return it in store if you don't want to deal with shipping it back.

I'll have to do that then the next time I head to the mall. It's a shame both malls near me are a half hour in either direction.

I am actually very happy with this wallet. The SM bag purse though, the handle broke already and my mom has to sew it better.

I had $15 off $30 from shopping at the store and $30 off $60 online. Since the codes aren't individual, you can keep reusing them online. Just look up the coupon codes on Google and use them.

I did the $30 off $60 and sadly didn't get a Sailor Moon shirt (need to get one in person). However I did get a Doctor Who shirt which is almost as good. I'm saving the $15 off for that, if they even have Sailor Moon merch at mine.
