Also! I saw this picture and got carried away:I know this is supposed to be the outers with Princess Serenity, but…

Look at her moon crescent symbol, and her dress with the bow at the very top. Could this, perhaps, be a young Queen Serenity?!

What if the outers had been her personal guard when she was younger? The Moon being taken care of by the big three: Sky, Oceans, and Afterlife? It was the four of them on the moon, living and growing together, learning together, the three protecting their beloved little princess as they developed as senshi.

And when they were all fully grown, they were there for her as she ascended the throne as Queen Serenity and were so proud and supportive and so genuinely excited for the future of the Solar System with their beloved Serenity leading the way. It was perfect.

As time went on, Queen Serenity became pregnant, and her three guardians were ecstatic, already planning activities for the new princess, dreaming up tiny little gowns and party ideas, and even deciding to awaken the other planets to serve as the Princess’s guardians. One by one the other planetary guardians awoke, all waiting for the Queen’s daughter to be born; Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto taught them even from their youngest age, about the joy of protecting someone you love and cherish.

And then something terrible happened.

One of the newly awakened senshi had a dark and terrible power, a power that could destroy their world and all of its people in one fell swoop: Sailor Saturn. Though she was young, like the rest of the Princess’s future guardians, already the three saw the potential within her to cause a great and horrible danger to their beloved Serenity and Serenity’s future child. One misstep on the girl’s part, one wrong move, and everyone’s life would be forfeit.

They convinced their Queen to seal Saturn away, for the good of the people and the safety of the new Princess… and they decided to go with her. Condemning a senshi to such a fate weighed heavily on their consciences, and they knew that sealing someone away wasn’t enough - they needed to provide some kind of lock, to have her awakening controlled by specific circumstances that they could control, by keys: their talismans. When their talismans came together again, Sailor Saturn would awaken, and the Silver Millennium would fall.

The three waited until after the Princess’s birth to leave, so that their Serenity might not miss them as much; and to hold a picture of the new Princess in their hearts to remind them in their future times of loneliness just why they had made the decision, why they had sacrificed their future for fear of awakening the destruction.

They retreated to their castles quietly, their final farewells naught but nods of respect, love, and an understanding of their new purpose. While the other planets would protect their little Princess and their beloved Serenity, they would watch the kingdom from afar, protecting it from outside threats as they guarded against the awakening of the messiah of silence. And while they would never be able to leave their castles, they all knew the vision of their Queen and Princess would keep them company for the rest of eternity.

That was so amazing Kyra and something no one would really consider about the outers but I like it because it makes sense to think of the outers as the first queens guardians.

Yeah I really like this headcanon a lot o_o it's brilliant. I will take the outers as the senshi as Queen Serenity when she was young. Someone needs to make a good fic about this.

Prince Endymion doesn't have parents. Not that he's an orphan, but he was literally created by the Earth's Will to come into existence housing the Golden Crystal within him in order to further help guide the people of earth to a better life.

Well except the Princess and Pluto, pretty much. Since Pluto's the only one that actually has a 'dad'. I like to imagine that the other princesses had surrogate parents who were more or less like advisors who handled the state of affairs until the girls(Boy) are old enough to run it.

Same thing with Endymion- except I picture the Shitennou having families/parents and they were in control of everything until Endymion got old enough to run things himself.

My headcanons:

Mamoru's green "earth" pullover is Christmas gift from Usagi.

Helios instictively choose refuge in Chibiusa's dreams, because she's Prince Endymion's daughter.

Shingo doesn't appear in Stars, cause he went to middle school in different city.

Other Headcanon: That in the future, Chibiusa sometimes resents being unable to age or even resents her parents sometimes- not just because she doesn't feel they're around enough. But also because a part of feels very pressured to be like them even if she doesn't favor either one of them in coloring.

Though Diana doesn't say- she favors her father more than her mother because of how strict her mother can be which causes her to be more self-conscious about being Small Lady's advisor more than her friend. But her Father says or does something that reassures her that she's doing the right thing for her charge which is very much a comfort to her.

Lol I think itd be fun to twist your last headcannon around and make it so that once Luna has Diana, her strict personality changes because "how can you possible scold this cute thing" but Luna and Artemis work together to make sure she is still disciplined (even though they spoil her a lot).

Silly headcanon; Ami is secretly a hard-core otaku. She's got a ton of manga and goes to Comiket and doujin conventions whenever she can, but hides it from everyone, not because she thinks it's weird, but because she likes keeping up the "always studying girl" stereotype to inspire everyone else to study hard.

My headcanon is that Haruka is easily annoyed by things that everyone around her does (like how the Inner senshi act in civillian form, being a bit goofy most of the time) and her anchor to keep her from flipping out and nagging them is Michiru, telling Haruka that everything will be okay because the Inner senshi still are 'children' and learning as they grow, unlike the already mature Outer senshi (:

I don't really know if this is a headcannon, but I ship Mistress 9 and Black Lady. I know this is a very common ship, but I also do not ship Sailor Saturn/Hotaru with Chibi Moon/Chibiusa.

Pairings usually aren't really headcannons, unless you have a theory to go along with that ship that can find its way into the canon. ^^;

Oh absolutely! In private of course, but on occasional NQS does slip up at public, formal events. Endymion responds in kind to ease her embarrassment (and then all of the ambassadors report home that *their* public figures need to show more public displays of affection with their SOs, because the Japanese are positively enthralled with how loving their rulers are. Their approval rating is constantly at 95% or higher)

As shown above I have *insane* headcanons about the future. I can't always figure out if NQS and Endymion rule just Japan and have significant influence over the rest of the world, or if they rule the world and have governors in other districts of the world to rule in their place.

I also believe that each story of Sailor Moon (manga, anime, live action) takes place in a different timeline of the same story. So, PGSM was the first story that led to NQS taking the throne and restoring her guardians powers. Hence the lack of Outer Senshi, and the Black Moon Clan. Then the anime storyline takes place, with first the Ali and Ann arrival messing up the timeline, and then the arrival of Chibiusa, spinning the story into a different future than the one she came from. (Chibiusa can return to her future because she existed there, and to the anime storyline because they remembered her there) The anime storyline never really resolves the issue with Chaos constantly reincarnating itself into stronger demons, and thus when NQS attempts to thwart the Black Moon Clan again and fails, it becomes stronger. The manga storyline's monsters are stronger than the other stories (the BMC can incinerate people, send more than a few fleets of UFOs into the past, etc) and are thus born from anime-NQS's inability to control Chaos. Her past then changes as her younger self faces stronger adversaries than she ever did.

It's extremely wibbly.

Here's my Chibiusa headcanons:

1. Her senshi name when she's older is Sailor Pink Moon, because of her Crystal.

2. Chibiusa is destined for great greatness, even greater greatness than the great Sailor Moon her greatness.

I mean, she has her own special set of protectors that have been sleeping in a jungle for at least a thousand years, waiting for her. I believe that a regular sailor moon-type soldier would just have whatever inner-senshi incarnations are around as guardians, but not Chibiusa. Plus, she's the first Moon-Earth person mix. That probably has some significance.

Also, Diana will eventually become Sailor Mau.

I think it's cute! I like to think of little headcanons. Like I like to think Usagi teases Mamoru for his fashion choices. Mamoru then worries about picking out the wrong clothes for Usagi for a present so he asks a store clerk to help him.

other headcanon of mine:
Even though they received the "super" upgrade at the end of the Inifinity arc, the Inners remained as normal senshis because the Outers were gone.
Another one: Sailor Kakyuu's real senshi name is Sailor Kinmoku. She judt didn't like to hide her identity
