| Once upon a time, in the Astera Galaxy, twelve sisters were born to protect their system. They grew up and embraced their powers, each becoming senshi as they were destined to be, and fought together in sisterhood. But as it always happened, light called out to darkness, and for a galaxy this bright, it didn’t take too long to attract the presence of Chaos. The sisters fought with all their might, but despite their immense power when all twelve stood together, it wasn’t enough. Great destruction occurred and the sisters ended up in a near-death state after exhausting all their powers. They also got scattered all around the universe in the aftermath of the great explosion that destroyed their galaxy. Their bodies were preserved by their Sailor Crystals, still intact if depleted to its absolute minimum energy limit. Their leftover power was just enough to keep them barely alive. Slowly, over hundreds of years, it repaired their body as they slumbered in a deep sleep. Centuries later, they slowly began to awaken. Each was alone in their own corner of the universe, not knowing who they were or anything at all. Until a woman came to them one by one, guiding them. A woman by the name of Queen Stella, who told them that they were guardian senshi destined to protect the world. She reminded them who they were and gathered all twelve, reuniting the sisters. She promised that together they were stronger, that they had yet to achieve their true potential. The twelve sisters went with her to her kingdom, and started their new lives. But the story did not end here. In fact, it had just begun…
Previously on Twelve Stars...After being asked by Queen Stella to kill the king of Cresta, a neighboring kingdom whom she claimed had fallen under Chaos' control and was going to destroy her own kingdom, Nova, the sisters have begun questioning their actions. Cassidy, Sailor Star Virgo, launched an investigation into the queen and sent her sisters to look for clues all around the palace. Cassidy and Iris went to the dungeons and found an oracle locked in one of the cells, who warned the girls not to trust “her”, that she has given a prophecy to the girls’ mother and that “she” was one of them and of their blood. Emelia and Sirena found an area of the castle that was blocked, almost like with magic. The area was directly adjacent to the Queen’s private chambers. Eliane and Celeste interviewed the people, and found that none of them spoke ill of the queen, however their expressions were scared and nervous when questioned. The girls were all then transported to the throne room and confronted by Queen Stella for spying on her. Rules and Information
- This is a continuance of the two-week Casual Event that will run from January 10th to January 24th 2016. The event thread is here.
- Only the listed characters below may be played. You may reclaim your character if you previously signed up and posted. You have three days to do so before your claim will be opened up to new players. If you are new, you can only sign up for the open characters or when a claim opens up. You don't need a profile.
- If you wanted to adopt your senshi after the event, please go through the Adoption Center in order to do so. You will be required to fill in the appropriate profile skeleton depending on whether you want to have it be a Relaxed or Advanced profile.
- There will be an activity rule. You will need to post at least every 48-72 hours or so to keep the story moving forward, as we will attempt to finish this in two weeks.
- Sign-ups last until January 9th 2016 or when all twelve senshi are claimed. Queen Stella will be played by me.
- This will also become the OOC Thread for the roleplay once the event resumes, so feel free to ask out of character questions here.
The Zodiac Senshi- Sailor Star Aries:

Short Description: As the firstborn of the Astera sisters, Reva is also the leader of the Zodiac Senshi. She is strong and stubborn, always certain that her way is the right way. She is extremely confident in her own abilities and sometimes believes she is invincible. It is easy for Reva to fall into the trap of depending on her own powers rather than working together with her sisters. She finds it hard to admit when she's wrong, and she tends to dive headfirst into situations without thinking much on it. Impulsive to the point of recklessness sometimes, she can easily be a danger to herself. However, her bravery and fierce loyalty is commendable. Reva is constantly seeking for adventure and does not deal with boredom and idleness very well.

She can be hit harder and more often and still get back up. When she activates this ability, it makes it much harder to knock her down. Short Description: Floria has all the qualities of a nurturing mother. She is patient, dependable, warmhearted, and full of love. She loves it best when things are in harmony and everyone she cares about are together in peace. However, this does not make her weak. She's as determined as they come once she's set her sights on something, and she's the one who won't give up annoying everyone involved in a fight until they apologize to each other and make up. Sometimes, it's just easier to do what Floria wants than hold on to your pride. Her tendency to love others with all her heart also gives her a jealous trait, and whenever someone new enters her life, she may feel threatened that they are about to steal any of her 'people'. She dislikes people almost as easily as she loves them, and she has a greedy side that demands just as much love given to her as the one she gives to others. Floria also has a green thumb and a love for gardening. Finally, she is fiercely protective of those she loves.

Sailor Star Gemini![[Casual Event] Twelve Stars Part II ~ Sign Ups & OOC MHLKn2q](https://i.imgur.com/MHLKn2q.png) Name: Iris Aldara Astera Age: 429 Powers: Telepathy, Duplication - She can relay messages telepathically to other people, but not read their minds. - Originally was supposed to be one half of twins, but she absorbed her twin in the womb, and now she can "summon" a twin by creating two of herself. Short Description: Despite being one of the eldest, Iris is the one with the most youthful and lively attitude. She enjoys talking and will talk with you - or at you - for hours about any topic. It seems there is never awkward silences around her, so the others like to use her as a buffer if they're ever in an awkward situation. She is basically a people person and will get along with anyone, easily charming them with her words. However, Iris has somewhat of an... inconsistent aspect. Sometimes she can seem like two people at once, flipping back and forth in her decisions as if she possesses two very different personalities that are at odds with each other. Her sisters would sometimes feel as if they are talking to two different people in the span of five minutes sometimes; she'd say A one minute, then when someone turns their back and returns to confirm her choice, she'd say it's obviously B. She believes it's the personality of her absorbed twin sometimes making it to the surface, but this makes her very unpredictable at times and she can't seem to control it either.

Short Description: Delia is a perfectly lovely person on a good day. When she's happy. Which usually doesn't last very long, because her mood swings are notorious. One moment she can be joyful, the next moment she can break a nail and yell to the sky about the unfairness of it all. She's... touchy, to put it mildly. She also wears her feelings on her sleeve, so sometimes she can appear... well... interesting with all the emotions she go through on any given day. Delia is also very paranoid and cautious. She's got a scratch? Oh no, she's going to die from tetanus. Someone sneezes? She's going to contract some strain of deadly flu and die. It's always doom, gloom, and worst case scenario with her, so she can be difficult to deal with. Especially if there's a fight. She always sticks behind the others because fighting is the very best way to die. However, that isn't to say she's heartless. Far from it; if she loves you, you will never want for more love in your life, for better or for worse.

Short Description: Eliane is a warm, enthusiastic, and creative person. Being around her feels like being in a perpetually sunny day. She is joyous and she's full of ideas; they come far too quickly for other people to keep up with sometimes. As such, Eliane is both the artist and the inventor of the family. However, because of the way her brain works, she often feels superior than the others, even Reva, the eldest. The two of them butt heads a lot because each is sure they're the right one. Eliane can come off as bossy and judgmental when she believes someone else is wrong and she is right (which is almost always the case in her mind).
- Sailor Star Virgo:

Short Description: Cassidy is smart and analytical, but she doesn't like to show off her brains unless she absolutely cannot resist. She is generally shy and more reserved, but she can be really neurotic at times. She worries about almost everything, even little things, and needs things to go exactly according to plan. She absolutely can't make a split-second decision and will more likely flop onto the floor and cry in desperation if forced to. She hates changes and doesn't adapt very well to new things, and doesn't like to get out of her comfort zone. Knowledge is really important to her, probably the thing she holds in highest regard. It's her thing, because she doesn't feel she has any other worthy talents. She does not have a very good self-image of herself and tends to be quite insecure or wallow in self-pity. Cassidy also has a perfectionist side and she holds the bar the highest when it comes to herself. Failure is always a fatal blow to her pride because she likes to think she's someone who can achieve anything if she puts her mind to it. Cassidy doesn't like to admit it, but she is ambitious.

Nothing like a full-fledged scene out of a movie but enough to distract and confuse. Short Description: Aria is easygoing. When chaos ensues, she is always the one that is able to stay calm and focus on how to fix the situation. She is a social butterfly and a lot of people enjoy having her around for her charming and diplomatic ways. She loves to playfully flirt with just about anyone, which sometimes ends up being a bad thing as it can lead people on and then hurt them. She always seems to have her head in the clouds, daydreaming about perfect scenarios and how to get them to work. One of her favorite things to think about is a world without any type of fighting. She hates conflicts and wishes that everyone could just get along with one another. One of her biggest flaws that she hates is her inability to make decisions. Aria could never make up her mind and it drives the people around her insane. She can also be very gullible, which can get her in to some bad situations. She always believes someone with ill intentions, or being swayed to believe them, easily falling for scams. But she always wants to believe the best in people, even after they show their true side to her. Aria is also known for being indulgent; she always wants another piece of cake or an extra hour of sleep.
- Sailor Star Scorpio:

Short Description: Antares is a quiet, serious, and closed off girl at first glance, but on the inside, she is a tightly controlled ball of fire and emotions. It takes a long time to gain her trust, but once a person has it, she is loyal to them and expects loyalty back. Betraying her is a fatal mistake, as she never forgets when she is wronged and is quite vengeful. She can stew on things for years until she is satisfied. Her feelings can be easily hurt once she lets a person behind her walls, but instead of crying about it, she becomes resentful and closes herself off again. Despite her less than outgoing appearance, Antares is very determined and willful when her mind is set on something, and becomes almost obsessed with a task until it is completed. Her few friends see her softer passionate and protective sides more often, and Antares sometimes becomes jealous when other people monopolize the ones she cares about, thought she won't admit it at first.
- Sailor Star Sagittarius:

Her reflexes and respond time is incredibly fast, approximately five times faster than a normal human's and at least three times as fast as an ordinary senshi's. - She can conjure bow and arrows and use them in a fight. Her aim is incredibly good and has a 90% chance of making its target. Sneak attacks will definitely not miss their mark. Short Description: Maia is free-spirited, optimistic, and always good-humored. She is the one trying to look at the bright side even in the most dire situations. She is also a very honest and straightforward person; with her, there are no white lies or manipulations. What you see is always what you get. She is an open book. Unfortunately, sometimes this can make her tactless in certain situations. Because she only wants to do the fun stuff, she also has a tendency to be irresponsible and careless, and her positive outlook toward life can turn into blind optimism. Maia is also very athletic and an excellent archer.

Short Description: Emelia is a patient and practical girl, someone who doesn't get excited very often, and when she does, it barely shows on her face. She is very intelligent to the point where her IQ is actually above the normal bell curve. When a problem catches her interest and manages to hold it for longer than an hour, she relishes the challenges and puts her all into solving it. Puzzles and conundrums seem to be the only things that are guaranteed to stir her. In other circumstances, she tends to take her time, meticulously going over every detail before making decisions. Even though she is brilliant, Emelia is often gloomy and fatalistic, believing that the worst possible outcome will probably happen. The glass is always half empty to her until it's full again. She also hates wasting money, and is very cheap with her spending unless she has to buy expensive things. Emelia isn't very self aware of herself either, and will sometimes not understand a joke or dry humor even if she is the one that said it in the first place.

Short Description: Celeste is the rebel of the group, the one who likes to do things her own way. She hates being forced to fit in and will intentionally fight against rules or attempts to make her conform. She's inventive and original; she likes to stand out and be different. She's that quirky one who would sometimes wear strange things or act in a completely unpredictable way. But Celeste is just being true to herself. It's not an act; she really is different and she's proud of it. She is extremely stubborn, and at times sarcastic. Her biting remarks can sometimes offend or hurt people. Because she likes to carve her own path, Celeste can sometimes appear aloof and maybe even slightly snobbish. She loves her sisters, but she's the one that... shall we say... clings the least to the sisterhood.

She is sensitive, compassionate, and kind, always attuned to the emotions of everyone around her. She is someone who's more interested in making a difference in the world than shallow, material things. Extremely sensitive and altruistic, Sirena always goes out of her way to help others and make them feel better. However, her tendency to want to see the good in others make her easily manipulated, naive, and too much of an idealist at times. There are moments when Sirena's judgment isn't grounded in reality, even if she only has people's best interests at heart.

| Small Lady - Since I did participate in Part 1, I'm pretty sure they didn't have a chance to tell each other their findings. So there are only two characters who know about that old woman in the dungeon. (They had decided to do this exploring in pairs when they met soon after killing the king of that neighboring kingdom.)

| Is it possible to have flashbacks of their mother that are made up? Like something they are barely remembering but could help them know their mother's sorrow and guilt for exiling Stella? I wanted to make sure that wasn't like taking over too much of the story. |

| Yes, feel free to do that. Their mother did in fact banish her own daughter upon birth and she did hide it very well but I imagine there are moments when the sadness and guilt seeped through. |

| Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around. It's been a bad time. My mother in law went into the hospital for a week last Friday, then I got sick and ended up in the ER Thursday night into Friday, and then my husband went down with the same thing Friday night, and now I'm sick again but this time with bronchitis. I just haven't had any energy to get on here. Sorry! |

| Unfortunately, I have to join PoetofMercury and apologize for my disappearance from throughout the last few days @.@
I had a few problems with...yeah, let's say myself, lately, so the last few days I honestly didn't have any motivation to RP or to write at all.
And at the moment I really think I'm too far behind in this whole storyline and I don't think I can catch up on the storyline in time to turn the corner, so once again: Sorry guys, I'm really sorry for leaving you alone with that at the end, but at the end, I guess I have to leave this RP @.@
